Seafood
Situated beside the iconic Power Station, Wright Brothers Battersea is a lively neighbourhood restaurant with an open style kitchen and riverside terrace. The kitchen features a Josper charcoal oven which seals and enhances the natural flavours in seafood and meat. Marble tables and bespoke leather banquette seating gives the restaurant a fresh yet classic feel. There is an elegant private dining room which can seat up to 24 people.

Please note that between 5-6pm we refresh and refire our Josper charcoal oven, so during this time a few of our dishes will be cooked using our traditional ovens.

We had the oysters and i had the Brill and he had the Hake, it was outstanding 😀 hadn't had Brill before but it was utterly delicious and perfectly cooked, wouldnt bother with the puddings as they were underwhelming, staff really lovely and friendly, I'd definitely go again

We have been coming to this restaurant ever since it opened, this visit was the first for at least 12 months and in our opinion the proposition has deteriated as follows, we booked a table for 4 at lunch time and my wife and I got there early so ordered 2 glasses of champaign at the bar while we awaited our friends, I asked for some nibbles, olives or nuts but the bar girl said they didnt do anything like this, well when paying £12.50 for a glass of champaign I would at least expect as a matter of course to be given a small bowel of nibbles.

Once our friends arrive we orderd their drinks 2 G& T's with Elderflower tonic water, yes you guessed it they dont do elder flower tonic!

At the table we ordered the server was friendly enough.

I ordered coffee at the end of the meal but the restaurant didnt have any sweetners only sugar.

I do feel Wright Brothers has fallen behind in their proposition and really doesnt offer the customer a great dinning experience, or it oit that all the commpetion has now passed them by!
What then capped it of was they included service on the bill of 12.5%, I had gto check with the waitress to make sure she gets the tip and not the restuarant. I don't think this should be allowed and will lobby to put a stop to it.

Shame as I have always beed a great supporter and recommended you to friends and family over the years. we wont be coming back to Wright Bros anymore and will give some of the other Oyster restaurants a go

Very good seafood, fresh and nicely cooked. A little expensive due to the location and views but overall a good experience. Service was attentive but it was a quiet afternoon. The Deluxe platter was perfect for the two of us, despite being told it was for 4 sharing, I guess if they were having mains too, which we skipped and had a couple of sides.

Very enjoyable meal at Wright Bros Battersea. Lovely fish on offer, particularly enjoyed the Hake with chorizo, clams and savoy cabbage. Enjoyed how the specials had the boats that had caught the fish named on the chalk board. Good choice of drinks. Felt the dessert options could have been more interesting. Good service and friendly staff.

Brilliant from the moment we walked in! Lovely welcome, friendly and knowledgeable service, wanted to eat everything from the menu and everything we did order was delicious. We went on a day that they had a special arts and crafts table for kids and it was brilliant having childcare there so we could enjoy the meal.

Amazing dinner. I had the grilled prawns and black bream off the specials menu and it was lovely.
Shell on prawns was only 3 but tasty but the main was massive. I was surprised at the portion size.

Disappointing desert though, I had the pear and blackberry crumble. There was a lack of crumble and the fruits were more of a soup, more juice than fruit. Plus no blackberries only pear which was not what the menu said.

Other than that everything was lovely. Lovely staff

The seafood is super fresh and well cooked. I was also very impressed by the cocktails.

Fish was too oily, looked like been rushing to put on the plate. Went there two night before the fish and shop was good so went back with friends on the 19th and ordered again fish and chip when the food came I was so disappointed. I can see the fish was too oily which I did not expected from Wright brothers

Following a poor visit last time we gave the WB another chance and it turned out to be perfectly acceptable. It is quite expensive especially the wines but I guess at Battersea Power Station you are paying the rents. The special Dover Sole offer was especially good and all three of us enjoyed it.

This was our first visit to the area since the start of the Battersea Power Station development and we were delighted with the placement on the river and the charm of the surroundings, in spite of being troubled by the obvious wealth implied. The staff at the restaurant were totally charming and attentive, and the restaurant itself is comfortable and tastefully appointed. In fact we were not at top table, which the website does not make clear means stools facing the kitchen. Fortunately it was not too busy for us to have a table instead! I was disappointed that the sea bass I had gone for was off the menu for that evening. The scallops I had for starter were delicious but a little overshadowed by the curry in the pureed cauliflower, which on its own was also tasty. The octopus starter was good as were the mussels in a Thai soup. I prefer finer chips well done; the ones with the mussels had gone cold by the time we got to them. But when we can afford it we would definitely go again. We walked around the area after our meal, full moon, lights on the river, magic!

We returned to a warm welcome. Manager was very on point and remembered us.
Made to feel comfortable, welcomed by all. Our waitress was.attentive but not intrusive, explained the specials menu.
Appreciated the advice given over starters and mains. Took managers recommendation over our choice of mains, we are so glad we took his advice as our mains were superb.
I can not highly recommend this restaurant and all its staff.
Can't wait to go back.

We were thrilled that we booked our meal here as never sure when booking online. The food was tasty and loved the delicious flavours of each dish. We ended up eating four courses which we don’t normally do as it was so good. Felt cosy and not too stuffy. Would highly recommend. Thank you

Great food and very attentive and positive service. The layout of the restaurant is also lovely. Great also to be right on the river, though the general area is still under construction, so not a lot of other places around just yet. Only negative is the red wine selection. Most of tele wines are poorly suited to the general menu, which is a bit of a miss from their management team.
