Wright Brothers Battersea
Please note that between 5-6pm we refresh and refire our Josper charcoal oven, so during this time a few of our dishes will be cooked using our traditional ovens. During the colder months we will be closed every Monday, re-opening in the spring.
Enjoy £1 oysters from 3-6pm daily.
Wonderful Oysters! Food was excellent will definitely come here again
Very good seafood, fresh and nicely cooked. A little expensive due to the location and views but overall a good experience. Service was attentive but it was a quiet afternoon. The Deluxe platter was perfect for the two of us, despite being told it was for 4 sharing, I guess if they were having mains too, which we skipped and had a couple of sides.
Very nice place with great food and ambiance. It was valentine's day so they were a little rushed off their feet. Staff were very nice but were unsure about a few things on the menu.
Quite pricey but well worth it! A fabulously cooked meal.
Very enjoyable meal at Wright Bros Battersea. Lovely fish on offer, particularly enjoyed the Hake with chorizo, clams and savoy cabbage. Enjoyed how the specials had the boats that had caught the fish named on the chalk board. Good choice of drinks. Felt the dessert options could have been more interesting. Good service and friendly staff.
Brilliant from the moment we walked in! Lovely welcome, friendly and knowledgeable service, wanted to eat everything from the menu and everything we did order was delicious. We went on a day that they had a special arts and crafts table for kids and it was brilliant having childcare there so we could enjoy the meal.
Amazing dinner. I had the grilled prawns and black bream off the specials menu and it was lovely.
Shell on prawns was only 3 but tasty but the main was massive. I was surprised at the portion size.
Disappointing desert though, I had the pear and blackberry crumble. There was a lack of crumble and the fruits were more of a soup, more juice than fruit. Plus no blackberries only pear which was not what the menu said.
Other than that everything was lovely. Lovely staff
Very nice service and fresh fish. I would suggest a bit more creativity on the by the glass program.
Terrific oysters and great service from everyone!
Dover sole deal very good value
Bringing fresh seafood to the plate, Wright Bros continues to satisfy the discerning seafood fan who appreciates the value of seasonal produce. And who can go past £1 oysters at Happy Hour!
Fantastic evening. Attentive staff, and amazing food. A great evening.
Superb friendly service, great cocktails and tasty food
The Battersea branch has a great ambience and overlooks the river which is cool.
The seafood is super fresh and well cooked. I was also very impressed by the cocktails.
I would defo comeback if only for the 1£ oyster happy hour.
Fish was too oily, looked like been rushing to put on the plate. Went there two night before the fish and shop was good so went back with friends on the 19th and ordered again fish and chip when the food came I was so disappointed. I can see the fish was too oily which I did not expected from Wright brothers
Thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback on your recent visit to Wright Brothers Battersea. We are truly sorry that it did not meet your expectations as it had previously. If you would like to kindly email me at email@example.com I would love to find out a little bit more information about your experience. Kind regards, Danny Sands
Following a poor visit last time we gave the WB another chance and it turned out to be perfectly acceptable. It is quite expensive especially the wines but I guess at Battersea Power Station you are paying the rents. The special Dover Sole offer was especially good and all three of us enjoyed it.
The food was delicious as usual. This is the restaurant to go to for fresh oysters. Excellent service and a relaxed setting add to a great experience.
This was our first visit to the area since the start of the Battersea Power Station development and we were delighted with the placement on the river and the charm of the surroundings, in spite of being troubled by the obvious wealth implied. The staff at the restaurant were totally charming and attentive, and the restaurant itself is comfortable and tastefully appointed. In fact we were not at top table, which the website does not make clear means stools facing the kitchen. Fortunately it was not too busy for us to have a table instead! I was disappointed that the sea bass I had gone for was off the menu for that evening. The scallops I had for starter were delicious but a little overshadowed by the curry in the pureed cauliflower, which on its own was also tasty. The octopus starter was good as were the mussels in a Thai soup. I prefer finer chips well done; the ones with the mussels had gone cold by the time we got to them. But when we can afford it we would definitely go again. We walked around the area after our meal, full moon, lights on the river, magic!
We love it and we return often. It has become one of our local favourites. It serves excellent oysters, mussels and various fish of the day. The staff is friendly and helpful and we always feel that we are welcomed.
We returned to a warm welcome. Manager was very on point and remembered us.
Made to feel comfortable, welcomed by all. Our waitress was.attentive but not intrusive, explained the specials menu.
Appreciated the advice given over starters and mains. Took managers recommendation over our choice of mains, we are so glad we took his advice as our mains were superb.
I can not highly recommend this restaurant and all its staff.
Can't wait to go back.
The food was absolutely fantastic - the best fish restaurant ever! The service was marvellous and accommodating, and my friends and I enjoyed the evening very much. We will be back!
We were thrilled that we booked our meal here as never sure when booking online. The food was tasty and loved the delicious flavours of each dish. We ended up eating four courses which we don’t normally do as it was so good. Felt cosy and not too stuffy. Would highly recommend. Thank you
Really lovely menu but, I ordered a whole plaice and there was so little fuah and mainly roe, which I dont like. Moules were fab
We are regulars, always good !
Beautiful ambient setting, overlooking the Thames. Service was first class, all the staff were warm and friendly. We had oysters, cuttlefish and octopus, beautifully prepared and delicious. If you're looking for seafood, this is the place.
Very good place for pre cinema visit. Excellent moules frites.
Amazing. Staff our fantastic and food is delicious
Great food and very attentive and positive service. The layout of the restaurant is also lovely. Great also to be right on the river, though the general area is still under construction, so not a lot of other places around just yet. Only negative is the red wine selection. Most of tele wines are poorly suited to the general menu, which is a bit of a miss from their management team.
six of us came for a birthday dinner, had a really great time. Food was good, wine list could have been more of a variety, really great cocktails. Our server was fantastic and engaging. The location is lovely, right on the water and next to the power station. Overall we had a nice evening and would go again.
Very accommodating staff especially as we had come and stayed late on Tuesday; very attentive to our needs especially as we had bought our 14 week old baby with us. Thank you!
We were really not disappointed by the food we got and the quality and freshness of the shellfish. The service and customer service was outstanding. Our only disappointment was that mussels were out of stock when we came (about 9pm) but that will just give us a reason to come back again.
Fantastic meal. We shared drinks at the bar beforehand, shared a platter adding a recommended Octopus dish and enjoyed free flow wines and beers. Highly recommended because if great food and wonderful service!
Great experience overall. Could use better gluten free options. Ambience spot on, quality top notch.
Good food and very attentive service. It was a birthday celebration and they made an effort to make it special. The hostess was great, nothing too much trouble. Wasn’t busy on a Monday which wasn’t so nice but would go back and use it again. Thanks
Good food in a lovely setting - we received very good service and thoroughly enjoyed our evening
charming restautant, good ambiance, outstanding food and service in a great setting.
Fantastic venue and great fish and chips - easy to get too from Battersea park station or Victoria on the bus
Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent food at decent prices. One of our favourites in this area. Highly recommended.
We had a late lunch, which was good.
I am disappointed that most of the main meals cost over £22 but do not include any sides. I think it would be worth including one side with all mains.
Best seafood in London in my opinion. Beautiful spot by the river is a bonus
Delicious and gorgeous looking seafood platters. We went for the deluxe one and did not regret it! Good bottle of Prosecco.
