Wright Brothers Borough Market
Head chef Rob Malyon’s speciality is great ingredients cooked simply and includes classics such as oysters, fruits de mer, moules marinière, as well as a daily-changing specials board featuring the best seafood and seasonal produce. It doesn't get fresher than this.

Need to book at 19:00?Other great restaurants with availability.
We had a very enjoyable lunch and the food and service was excellent.
Fantastic meal, oysters to start. King scallops and dressed Devon crab. Wonderful as always
Always good, a consistent place with good food and service.
Super meal as usual here. Roll mops almost a meal in itself, whitebait not quite as hot as usual but they were so busy. Hake, Plaice and fish pie all delicious. Noisy but fun environment
In my opinion this is the best oyster/fish restaurant in London. Service is always extremely friendly, oysters are just fabulous and the fish is wonderfully fresh. And not least the wine list is ample. My only reason for rating 4 stars on value is that I feel that the prices have gone up from the past.
Never disappointed by this great place. All the dishes I have tasted have been exceptional. Good wine list and excellent service.
Absolutely fabulous again. Now our staple evening meal spot when we visit the city.
Really helpful and friendly staff, lovely food and wine. What more could you want. An essential part of a great day out in Borough Market
Very good food any wine. A bit pricey but the quality is really good.
Food is great & people really nice.
The thing is the cooking smell bit strong.
Suggest lady can bring a small perfume with you if have date after
Fabulous atmosphere, service and beautiful fresh seafood in an authentic public house
Good but a bit uncomfortable but got us to the theatre in time
I love restaurants which are busy, busy, busy - there’s nothing worse than an empty, smile that place. Wright Brothers is always buzzing. Wonderful food, very friendly staff and a very warm atmosphere.
We went to the Wright brothers for my husbands birthday and was not let down
Everything about this restaurant was excellent the staff and the food
To watch the chefs cook our meals was just the best
Well done and many thanks for making our night brilliant see you soon
Very nice place for a platter of seafood & oysters. We did lunch, sitting at a window table (2 persons).
We will come back again next in London.
One of my favorite places @Borough market; outstanding products and lovely service, very friendly and very cosy
A (well known) gem of the area
We have been to Wright Brothers many times, service always great food really good.
Fabulous fresh seafood accompanied with humour and great service in a buzzy laidback environment.
Good experience except that we were seated right next to the cash register and by the stairs. We had booked a long time before.
Great little place - accommodated 2 extra guests to our booking on the morning too. Oysters were perfect - would definitely recommend.
Relaxed, efficient, good friendly service, good food.
Look forward to visiting again
Fantastic seafood in a very buzzy, friendly place right in the middle of Borough Market. Lovely, friendly staff, great service.
Fresh seafood. It worth to visit again. The service is great.
Good food, good service and the price was reasonable
Outstanding food, wine, service and atmosphere. Fully recommended!
We've been several times before but I would hesitate to book again.
There was a choice of places to sit but none were fantastic. We ended up at the back, perched on stools watching the chefs but we were literally hoofed in and my husband had to be very politely asked to squish himself along so that the staff could get in and out of the service area.
It was really hot near the kitchen which we weren't warned about (and it was a really hot evening) - we could have asked to move somewhere else, but it had taken so long to squeeze in to the space in the first place I honesty couldn't be bothered.
The menu was somewhat disappointing for choice, I had fish pie last time I came and for dinner, I wanted something more substantial than shell-on prawns or mussels - I can only assume that most of the specials had already sold out.
We love fish and shellfish but we were nonplussed and ended up with the beef pie - which was fabulous I have to say, almost as good as what I make at home but we would have preferred fish.
My starter wasn't fine but nothing special, standard mackerel pate offered with small pieces of dry, toasted sour-dough. Fresh out of the fridge, the butter-seal was cold and solid unfortunately. The scallops being prepared in front of us looked amazing - I wish I had chosen that instead.
Staff were lovely and we couldn't have been made more welcome. The wine was really good. We were too full for to have a dessert.
It was lovely to be back but I think we will make it lunch next time instead of dinner and would recommend same approach to friends.
Hi Lynn, I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your most recent visit as much as on previous occasions. I hope that you will come back to us soon and we will have the opportunity to wow you again. Thank you for your kind words regarding our team, I have passed these on to them. Kind regards Jhonnie
Great service and the best bloody mary i ever had
I've been recently and it was quite good, nice staff and amazing food, I will come againg
Fantastic meal in a good atmosphere, but gets very busy so booking is a good idea. Food is excellent
Amazing, everything was perfect from start to finish!
As ever, one of the best places to eat. Top qualtiy ingredients, simply but really well cooked.
Superb - as always
Outstanding fresh and perfectly cooked food, still a great restaurant
Dinner Saturday night with a good friend and Wright brothers didn’t disappoint. Really good food and excellent service, with great atmosphere. Wines were very good too. Def return.
A great experience at a cozy fish house. We went to Borough location and found a large crowd outside. Our reservation was mandatory as this small venue fills up quickly and for good reason. We elected to sit bar style over looking the kitchen. It was a treat to watch the fresh fish being prepared. The menu changes for specials daily depending upon the catch. If you like simple, fresh seafood this is a fantastic choice. A very snug restaurant with a warm ambiance. You will enjoy.
This was a last minute choice for our final night in London so couldn’t get a reservation until 9pm. But we were so glad we waited! Great food, lively atmosphere, friendly waiter, and fun location in the Borough Market. We were seated at the counter which allowed us to watch the action in the kitchen. All around a wonderful experience for our last meal before leaving early the next day!
Great food - excellent staff and service! Definitely recommended for a special, not formal occasion or special treat!
Delicious food (don't miss the wonderful Beef, Guinness and Oyster Pie), friendly, helpful and attentive service and great atmosphere. A thorough delight and highly recommended.
