Borough Market is the original Wright Brothers restaurant. It’s intimate, informal and never, ever dull. Seating is mostly arranged around a long oyster bar and two shared high-tables which offer views across the open kitchen.

Head chef Rob Malyon’s speciality is great ingredients cooked simply and includes classics such as oysters, fruits de mer, moules marinière, as well as a daily-changing specials board featuring the best seafood and seasonal produce. It doesn't get fresher than this.

Native lobsters were on the menu for a limited time. Had them here and at spitalfields market before. To die for. If there is no Wright Bros in heaven then I ain't goin'.

Just felt a little rushed by the waiting staff. They were a bit abrupt and generally didn’t get a warm r caption from them. The food was nice, but I’ve been to places with similar quality food, that was slightly cheaper and the staff were a bit more likeable

We had a lovely time here. The staff were brisk and efficient but also friendly. All the seafood was incredibly fresh, I particularly enjoyed the scallops and the Japanese oysters. I would say the crab at £19.50 was overpriced; I've had much tastier for half that. But everything else was spot on. Being placed so centrally to the market, and with high bar stool style seats packed in snugly, it has an atmosphere best described as bustling. We really enjoyed it, but just make sure you are in the mood for a fun, lively meal rather than a quiet relaxing one.

This is one of my favourite restaurants and as always the food was great and the service attentive. My most recent visit was for my sin’s birthday and the complimentary fizz was a very nice touch!

Such a huge fan of this place. Can't really fault the place. I ate with my family on a Sunday evening and the place still had such a great atmosphere.

The food and service are always of such a high standard.

I've eaten at all the top seafood restaurants in London and due to consistently and personality, WB tops it.

Also, would recommend the Borough location over the others. Service is always on point and the location is ideal for a stroll after

10/10

Loved Wright Brothers yet again! Sat at the bar to appreciate the atmosphere.
Ended up having 24 oysters as they’re just so fresh & tasty. Champagne topped it off.

Would highly recommend!!! Be prepared to spend some money:)

For great food, good service with attentive staff and interesting surroundings, give Wright Brothers Borough Market a try. I had a tasty Lemon Sole, cooked with chilli and spring onions, very yummy. We were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary and were kindly given a glass of bubbly at the end of the meal. Perfect. I’m keen to try one of their other restaurants.

Good food and authentic bustling atmosphere. Waiting staff a bit rushed and inconsistent service level. Space just a little too cramped notably at bar. Understandably popular but operating above its capacity now and it shows. Really love it but owners need to take heed of the fact it is now stretched and risks becoming less good. Do they care though?

Lovely fresh fish - especially the oysters. Lemon sole was fantastic, fish pie tasted good but there was only 1 type of fish in there.

Staff very friendly and informative.

Will definitely be returning.

It is one of our very special restaurants in London. The food and ambience was wonderful. The only slight slip was that the staff did not tell us about the special dishes written up at the back of the restaurant. Still, we did of course have excellent meals without the extra choice.

On a busy, hot day, this is the perfect spot to select from the specials and the starters and just share!
The Whitebait was exceptional, as was the Chorizo Oysters.
Great food and wonderful service.

Overall quite disappointing in terms of value and food quality which was a shame as had heard nothing but good things but we’ve had much better seafood in London at much fairer prices. The staff were however incredible - attentive and polite and courteous. However, we won’t be back sadly.

The service was just amazing as much as the food. I bought a cake for my boyfriend as it was his birthday and they kindly hide it and brang it to the table with candles at the end of the meal.

Fantastic place for a date if you love seafood!
