Wright Brothers Borough Market
Head chef Rob Malyon’s speciality is great ingredients cooked simply and includes classics such as oysters, fruits de mer, moules marinière, as well as a daily-changing specials board featuring the best seafood and seasonal produce. It doesn't get fresher than this.

I am French and super critical but the food is always amazing, so tasty and fresh. Highly recommend it.
wonderful, wonderful food. Had the seat literally overlooking the kitchen so great to be able to see your food being cooked
Beautiful food excellent location so tasty and great atmosphere can't wait to go back
Just a fantastic, bustling seafood extravaganza. Wonderful oysters, delicious fish and more. Highly recommended!
Always busy, a good sign. Excellent fish and seafood. Lovely staff, we were well looked after. Thank you.
Brilliant- cosy, fun, food
Small, compact - crowded, even - on the edge of Borough Market. I chose the mussels in white wine. Huge helping. Mussels were large and succulent
Just love this place! It’s buzzy and the service as well as the food is fantastic! The only seafood place that I know that serves “Carlingford Oysters” - beautiful! Our server was attentive and very friendly! Will be back for sure.
I love this restaurant. It's easy as a pair of slippers, yet retains an elegance and fantastic simple dining experience. Staff are lovely and location is fab.
Excellent seafood restaurant, the best in the area.
I haven’t been back to the Borough Market restaurant for an age...but as with their other restaurants it was business as usual. Great food, even for a meaty like me, great wine, and absolutely lovely staff. Our waitress was available when we wanted something but let us enjoy our meal without the ‘everything ok’ you get from other restaurants.
Best seafood in Borough Market. Always hard to get a table, but worth planning ahead or waiting around.
Have been to this Wright Brothers several times before, but it was equally good on this occasion, as on the previous visits. Food is always really fresh & of an excellent quality, the atmosphere is lively & the whole experience makes for a great evening.
The Wright Brothers is our favourite restaurant in London. The oysters are sublime and there is always something amazing on the specials menu.
Fantastic food and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend the oysters.
Saturday lunch - was great, welcomed with lovely service that continued throughout.
The food was fabulous, beautiful fresh oysters and fish, washed down with some lovely Muscadet.
A great and memorable lunch for the whole family.
Love this place. It isn’t cheap and the cramped nature won’t be to everyone’s taste, but the food is great and it has a great atmosphere. One thirty on a Saturday seemed to be a good time as you are arriving just as the mad rush is ending. If you like seafood you must go.
Love this restaurant. I think it’s the best of theirs. Been many times and will continue to come back.
Not as good as usual but still a lovely experience & delicious oysters. It was just the crab that was a little disappointing & not up to the quality & freshness of previous visits.
It’s always excellent at Wright Brothers Borough! The food, drinks and service are fantastic.
Came with a friend and we were not disappointed. Great chefs, great food and great place.
I love Wright Brothers at Borough Market its my favourite, food delish and such a buzzzzzzz
Excellent food as always. Pricey but that’s the price you pay for dining in Borough Market.
This branch continues to deliver excellent food and wine. It is cramped even at the tables so you have to be ready for others to interlope on your conversation. The full house platter dressed crab was disappointing as it was dominated by egg. Scallops and mackerel pate excellent. Good white Loire wines.
Amazing fresh food; really quick service; surprisingly still felt intimate even with how busy it was
Very good. We will go back next week
Borough Wright Brothers has a great atmoshere, front of house welcoming and very efficient - great sense of team work. The kitchen is flat out, but each plate delivered as though it were the first. We had a great night and we were looked after very well indeed, food and wine delicious
Great vibe, nice staff, good food. Two of us shared the crab feast. I wouldn’t describe it as a feast (I was still hungry!) however it was tasty.
I have ben a regular visitor to Wright Brothers over the years and in the past always enjoyed it.
I was shocked at the quality of the Beef and Oyster pie this week, a past favourite of mine. As soon as I cut into it to place the Oysters, I realised that the normally rich deep brown gravy was thin and pale. What meat there was turned out to be either very tough or just large lumps of plain gristle. I have never encountered a worse pie - utterly unbelievable. After many years of enjoying Wright Brothers I was quite shocked that something so bad, could be served in such a great restaurant. Of course I didn't pay for the pie and they gave me coffees (seemingly all they wanted to do). The left pie and gristle was unceremoniously dumped into the waste, so clearly no chance of following up from a QC perspective. My spoilt evening still set me back about £70 which I resent. Never again friends.
Had a wonderful evening, great food and excellent service. Thank you and will be back when next in London, thank you
Starters good, main course of beef and oyster pie disappointing. The beef was chewy and needed to have cooked long and slow, not good enough I am afraid. The fish pie was heavy on the mash. Bit disappointed really.
Excellent welcome as usual at this busy spot with first rate oysters
A great venue for some of the best fish and seafood I've tasted in London
Always has a good selection of fresh seafood and fish. You can sit at the bar and see them cooking your meal.
Always great for a catch-up with contacts in the London Bridge, Southwark area. Fun atmosphere, great food, good wine, friendly staff. What more could you want for a relaxing and lively lunchtime.

I've eaten here twice now and both were a great experience. The menu is small but every option sounds delicious. They have a good selection of wines too. It's a small place and can feel a bit cramped at busy times, but on a Sunday evening we had a proper table and it was a comfortable and ambient meal.
The food is outstanding the staff are amazing
We only get to Wright brothers three times a year when the Rugby is on at Twickenham as we travel from Yorkshire and we look forward to eating at Wright Brothers every time AMAZING food.See you soon
Been many times before and never disappoints. Took some friends for Saturday lunch; always busy and must book. Great service and fish is so so fresh.
Guinness and wine great, as was service.
