Excellent food and service. The menu was great and entice you to try something different. The staff were friendly and very helpful
Freshest seafood in town and lovely cocktails, just watch out for the service charge, you don't have to pay this. Tip the waiters instead :)
Excellent meal with friendly service. The happy hour oysters for a £1 are great value
We did the Oyster Master Class which was fabulous and then a light lunch afterwards of Octopus , Scallop and Tuna tartare all recommendations of the chef and they were really excellent
I had the special, which was lobster. It was cold when initially received, so I sent it back and thought someone would make a new one, but it seems like they popped in the microwave which obviously made it rubbery, which I thought was pretty pathetic!
However, I was given a 20% discount on the total bill and the rest of the food was pretty decent, so all wasn't awash!
Catching up with a colleague, couldn’t have been more happy with the experience overall. Service was attentive and friendly. Menu was excellent and enhanced by a great selection of specials. Much to be had for anyone who enjoys good seafood in all its varied forms. Highly recommended.
Visited Wright Brothers Soho for the first time having been a dedicated Wright Brothers Borough market visitor
Excellent service and as per Wrights normal great food .. offers something different Oysters to die for .. wife had the catch if the day fish and chips would highly recommend
We will be back
The servers were brilliant, knew what they were talking about and were very attentive.
The food however was full of bones, I understand this comes with fish but every single mouthful had about 4 small bones in it. It made it hard to eat.
The selection of fish and specials of the day mean that you can always find something great to eat even as a regular eater.
Service is always friendly and knowledgeable - food is banging!!
I had a particular dish in mind when I made the reservation, so I was somewhat disappointed when it wasn't available. That being said, I did wind up getting one of the special fish dishes for the evening which was lovely. It is a good deal on oysters for happy hour at the Soho location, so I'll likely be back for that!
We love coming here normally, but this time was dreadful. We ordered some oysters to start then waited 15mins to be noticed again and were brought menus. We then waited 10/15mins for wine to be brought over. Then we assume our waitress went on break as we sat there for 20mins with out anything- our wine was taken from table and put back on ice so we couldn’t even top ourselves up. We ended up paying £60ish for 12 oysters and a bottle of wine which we took home as it was a waste without food.
A real shame.
Amazing as usual. Will absolutely recommend, and actually, have been recommending.
Food was disappointing comparative to previous visits.
My experience was amazing. I had left a note asking for champagne on arrival and my demands were met! We had a lovely time at Wright Brothers, as always. I used to be a member of staff at their London Bridge branch and I’m happy to see that the quality and standards have never slipped: from the delicious sea food to the wines and great, yet discreet service.
Wright Brothers never disappoints in flavour.
The main was particularly outstanding. Make sure you order the bbq cabbage as a side dish to accompany your fish. Starter options could however be improved .
The service was fantastic! The staff were beyond friendly and helpful, helping to make our night absolutely perfect.
The food is amazing. I had the solo sailor to start - mixed shellfish and oysters. Then we had moules and frites.
The service was a bit grumpy and we were largely ignored. It’s a bit embarrassing trying to wave to attract some attention. It was Monday night.
Seafood was delicious and fresh. Service was attentive. Wine is expensive.
Good service, good food, became noisy with all the hard surfaces
Friendly, helpful staff and fantastic oysters. The £1 oyster deal from 3-6pm is a fab idea and the reason we came to the soho branch rather than the borough one :)
All good except 5 meals arrived and we waited some time for the 6th, which took the gloss off the service.
Just amazing! Cannot wait to visit it again :) oysters were great, mussels for the main too. Would recommend it to everyone who loves seafood
We arrived 1 hour early, New Years Eve, and was able to have our reserved seat in the corner, which was excellent.
George, who served us, was amazing. Great knowledge, humorous and relaxed. A breathe of fresh air to the usual encounters that I have in London restaurants. He was attentive and not pushy, or overly eager to whisk plates away while mid chew (experienced before in other establishments).
We had a seafood platter, very fresh and flavoursome. I do not drink alcohol but George did explain which wine goes well with our selection, which is great for other guests who wish to correctly pair their meal to wine.
I also ordered the squid, and fish and chips (keeping the tradition alive). Both were delicious and fresh, not overly salty and well cooked.
I will definitely return!
Lovely oysters, great food and attentive service
This was our first visit to a Wright Brothers restaurant and it was some of the best seafood we’ve ever had. The service was great too. We’ll definitely go there again.
had a good family dinner
Great oysters and service - but much prefer the ambience in the Borough branch
While the food was fine, nothing special but not great either, what really stood out was the very poor attitude of the waiting staff. Unfriendly, and acting like she’d rather be anywhere else, our waitress made us feel most unwelcome. We decided to eat our food quickly and leave to enjoy a dessert elsewhere.
Hugely overpriced for the food quality on offer, ranging from the borderline inedible to the averagely competent. Quite a few items had clearly either just come out of the fridge, just been reheated or had been sitting on the pass for too long. Service was pleasant enough but a bit scattershot. Not somewhere I’d recommend unfortunately, especially at those prices.
