The staff were lovely and attentive. The food was good. Sitting outside in the sun, what more could you want :-)
Such a great night at Wright Bros. Soho. The initial greeting and seating was friendly and professional. We were sat at an outside table and on a warm evening there are not many better locations in London and there was a great buzz to the whole area.
Ultimatly though what you want in a restaurant is great food and service and both were present in abundance. Four of us had a range of items from the menu and found all to be excellent. Service was top notch a match for the food and they went out of their way to accommodate my wife who was in a wheelchair. Great evening.
Disappointing that they no longer offer tempura oysters but rest of meal was good
It was OK. nice place but service was rushed and both my wife and I had dicky stomachs the next day??
Good service and ambience but food doesn’t match overpriced dishes. Having said that, £1 oysters offer between 3-6pm is worth going for!
Good quality and well run as expected. Prawns oyster and langoustine all fresh and high quality. Went on a monday, pretty empty/ no need to book really
I'm afraid we were very disappointed. We used to go to the restaurant in Borough Market and thought I try this one for my husbands birthday. We had a selection of 'plates' after oysters and they were poor. The prawns were overcooked, the scallops were unpleasant and the squid tempura was not tempura - it was battered squid (better quality in my local fish and chip shop). I wondered why it was so quiet on a saturday lunch time and now I know. I would have sent it back straight away but didn't want to make a fuss since it was a birthday lunch and my husband, while he agrees, would have felt awkward. The waiting staff were good, dealt with my complaint well and gave a discount but I would rather have had a good meal. I saw another couple complaining about their meal too so I don't think it was just us.
Unless the chef changes or they change the chef I wouldn't recommend.
Have to reserve a special comment for the waitress who served us and was extra thoughtful.
Lovely meal, delicious seafood and great service.
Our drinks were a little slow but our charming waitress made sure we were well looked after.
Came here for our 1st, 3rd and then recently our 6th anniversary. Love this place so much. I was disappointed my 2x favourite Pepper and Almond crab was not on the menu so joined my husband by having the whole lobster too. As always it’s very nice. The oysters were fab too, never disappoint and we just missed out on happy hour where you can get oysters for £1! Homemade Ice cream for dessert as I was so full but wanted something and again it was delicious. Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us.
Be back again soon and if not then then you know it will be for our 9th!
Please bring the Pepper and Almond crab back!
Outside was busy so inside was quiet. Chose booth which looked good but was quite tight. Oysters and salmon sashimi starter were good. Main was ok, sole was underdone. Waiter offered to bring back out, we said no, so they comped some desserts which was appreciated. Overall not bad, food was decent but a bit hit and miss. Used to be a great spot but it feels like it needs some attention. Not many mains on offer - the menu goes more for the sharing plates which may not be everyone's cup of tea.
Absolutely amazing. The decor is fantastic, with a rustic up-cycled theme throughout with bare bulbs. The pictures on the website are very accurate. The waiting staff were lovely - the maître d' called ahead in the afternoon and asked if I had a particular seating area request, and when we arrived we were taken to the exact place and type of seating I asked for (low, comfortable corner seating). The cocktail menu is amazing, and the presentation is beautiful (I went for a Woodford Julep which was presented in a small, personal, copper 'ice bucket'), and the food was exquisite. Very fresh, I chose the chargrilled hanger steak, grilled prawns & garlic butter. Waiting staff were lovely, the tables aren't so close together that you feel like you're on someone else's lap... and you certainly get what you pay for. Fantastic overall experience.
My partner and I had a very enjoyable experience at Wright Brothers Soho. The food was delicious, and the servers were very attentive and nice.
Fantastic time and the food was great.
The wine we chose was great, went well with the oysters.
Waiters were really nice but had to call for them quite a few times to pour more wine or place another order.
Used the time out offer which gave 50% off food so made the most of it and everything was really good. Will happily go back and pay full price.
Here with our adult family and wanted a nice night out. I picked wright brothers from open table. What a bomb. Got there at eight, extremely hot restaurant, rude waitress. Sat us and then told us there were out of multiple things on their already small menu. Even then, when we ordered they were out of more!!! Small serving sizes, especially the fish. So disappointing.
Good, quick service. We were late for our pre-theatre booking and they managed to rush our food out in next to no time. Our server was on the ball. The grilled lobster was excellently fresh, came quickly enough, though we found their signature fish soup mite bit too salty.
Fish soup delicious. Followed by superb crab with crunchy salad and fries. Bill, including drinks and service £60 for 2. Excellent. Will definitely return.
Good as always - no complaints - except coffees need to be warmer
Great special on the oysters and outdoor courtyard seating is fab.
Happy hour oysters! Shames there's only 1 choice but even so a delightful treat woth a glass of prosecco
Good seafood restaurant just off Regent Street
Wine list good and menu has a variety of Seafood and some other options
The only downside I see is that music was to loud and we had to shout out to talk to each other
Amazing food, service and place to eat. Will definitely return. Thank you to all the staff for making it a great night!
The food was average and very small portions. The service was poor. A number of times we had to grab our drinks before they were taken away. My husband has the oysters and he was still eating his last oyster as they whipped away the plate. At £6 an oyster I would expect much better service. I felt the poor service was down to lack of management and training. I wouldn’t recommend and we won’t be going back. There are many good fish restaurants in London considerably better than this.
As close as you want it to be. Great staff and food. Once again the Oysters are just sublime. Must be tried. Hangar Steak was excellent.
Very fresh and tasty foods
Food was good, but not exceptional! This was the second time we have been and the quality seems to have dropped in comparison to the first time.
The waiters were snobby and the quantity of the food poor.
Whilst the Spitalfields branch is my favourite, the Soho branch is still excellent. This was my second visit to the Soho Wright Brothers, and I took my dear neighbour who loves seafood and cocktails. As always, it is a great option for indulgence - oyster-topped Bloody Marys with a platter of fresh whelks, prawns and oysters. The beef tataki was incredible, as well.
Lovely staff, fantastic service, and the food quality is always superb.
Great food, the service was a lot better than some reviews we had seen on here. It was pricey but we could not fault anything and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Won’t be the last time we visit this establishment.
We arrived at 12.30 and were the only 2 diners in the restaurant. However by 13.15 it was fairly full. Menu fairly limited in size
the service was so bad, the assistants were so rude to put the wine and its glass so loudly on the table, and they were out of patience when we asked the special dish and some small/raw. and also the quality of food such as the mussel which was not fresh. Two of assistant suggested main dishes were so bad, one was fish with potato, another was beef with king prawn, literally " Organic", no favor at all, and I asked the assistant to get some sauce like salt or pepper, he gave me the butter and oil? Won't come to this restaurant again in SOHO, my friends said Shoreditch one was the good one, and I won't recommend to any friends to come to this store again.
Food not up to standard advertised and too overpriced. I don’t mind paying for a good meal especially seafood but the langoustines were overcooked and tge mussels were so bad that i spent the night in the toilet!
Amazing food, great service and brilliant atmosphere.
Great service from our waitress who was very attentive.
Food was very good on what was my second visit.
Great find. Great seafood. Would recommend to friends.
The sea food we ordered seemed to be tasteless, as if not very fresh. Shame as we really enjoyed the place's atmosphere.
We found the service to be mediocure, Requested "End Table" in booking however this was not given, Had to keep asking for our wine to be topped up when glasses empty, We bought the bottle however that is not left on the table so you have no idea how much is left and feel bad asking for more of your wine!
We had some questions about the food and the waiter seems to give us brief, quick answers quite coldly and leave.
We had dropped a personal credit card under the table unknowingly an as a waiter walked past all that was said was "Thats yours" as he walked away..We didnt have a clue "What" was ours an carried on UNTIL time to pay an we realised it was missing, Your would have thought this would have been adressed better given he saw an we had no clue!
We arrived early for drinks and were shown to a table in the Court but had difficulty then getting any service. We went through to our table and eventually had to ask for menus and again ask for our order to be taken. The staff were very friendly and helpful when they came but there didn't seem to be any one person responsible for looking after us. The food was nice and a buzzy atmosphere but let down by the service.
