Had an enjoyable post-work dinner here. Nice ambience despite being on busy Kingly Street. Very friendly and efficient service. The Morecambe Bay oysters were delicious, as was the cuttlefish and padron peppers. My wife had gurnard which she rated as nice but could have had a little more sauce. I had the ray wing, a sizeable portion. Unfortunately it had a very strong ammonia taint. I haven’t experienced this before with ray, however I have heard several theories. Too fresh. Too old. Incorrect processing. It’s normal for ray. Anyway I didn’t want to cause a scene and it was quite tasty once actually in the mouth so I didn’t say anything at the time. As is usual in fish restaurants I’d recommend ordering some sides of a green variety. Prices were acceptable for a seafood place.

I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."

only suggestion: you are oysters experts: what about providing all possible sauces and letting the customers decide which one to opt for??

There was something lacking here. Totally different experience to Wright Brothers in Borough Market. Little or no atmosphere. The starters were plonked on the table in the wrong place. We weren't asked whose was whose. The Korean whelks was a tiny portion, I thought for a moment is was a complimentary amuse bouche, it was that small. The deep fried oysters were disappointing. Lots of batter and jam. Not much oyster (maybe not the best choice in retrospect). The mussels were nice enough, but not that special. There was no effort to present any of the dishes attractively. No offer of bread to mop up mussel juice.

Excellent food! The prosecco is a little overpriced considering you can get a whole seafood platter for less. But overall a lovely evening, will definitely be returning.

I took my girlfriend here for Valentine’s Day. The seafood is fresh and excellent quality, we had the full house platter with scallop share starter and white wine £120. The soho branch seems to mainly serve shellfish rather than a good fish selection, but this isn’t such an issue as the quality is definitely up there. In particular the scallops are fantastic. The house white wine is also good quality and perfect match for the menu. If you love shellfish this is one of the best restaurants in central London.

We had an excellent meal at Wright Brothers Soho, 13 Feb. The oyster selection starter was outstanding. My wife's pollock was also very good though my main of mussels could have been a little warmer;but the portion was gereous. Puddings were very good. A special mention for the ser ice which was both cheerful and attentive.

The service was a disaster... we asked for sparkling water and we got natural... we asked for bread and we never received it. When I have asked the waitress about the bread instead of apologies, she told me “didn’t the kitchen bring it to you?” Who is the kitchen??
Then I have asked to speak with the manager at the table and none showed up. Very disappointing.

Service was slow, we waited 20 minutes to order the drinks. When the wine we ordered came it was warm and we had to ask to change the bottle. We then ordered a big seafood plate to share as a starter and the clams were very sandy and the shrimps chewy. Definitely not recommend. The only good side of the experience is the restaurant itself, which is nice and well designed.

I was extremely impressed (as was my dining companion) with the restaurant in terms of its food, ambience and service levels which were all very high. A call out to Aurore who was exceptional. The Japanese influence in the cooking was just delightful and the sharing plates were divine. Well done Wright Brothers; I will definitely recommend you and also re-visit. Sue Barker

We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and our table was ready for us. Service staff were prompt to take our drinks order and settle us down into our seats.

We ordered our food one course at a time. In total we had 5 courses and only had to wait a matter of seconds after each course to place our order - the staff were attentive and noticed the moment we were ready for the next course.

The food at Wright Bros was amazing! It has always been my favourite seafood restaurant in London and I take anyone I hold dear to dine there. Every course was delicious and flavourful - particularly the cuttlefish that successfully delivered on the smokey barbecued flavour and the white wine & garlic mussels that delivered on flavour in every bite.

The service was great, a nice welcome and friendly charming waiters. The Dover sole at £20 was a great price and was very good. Sharing platters are confusing - how many do you order? We ordered one for,the teo of us as a starter thinking it would be sufficient, but you get three small scallops do have to cut one in half. No bread was offered. I ordered an extra starter to sake up for the lack of food. The sole as I said was excellent, but the fries were very salty. The rhubarb crumble was cold and a very small portion. The bill was £150 for two. I would not return.

Had a really nice lunch here and we decided to stay until it was happy hour oysters (basically they were £1 a piece). We had mussels (which were great) and some appetisers. The wine selection paired really good with the food. However, was slightly disappointed by the standard of the happy hour oysters (they were a lot smaller than the ones not on happy hour). Nonetheless, would definitely come back for happy hour anyway, as it is reasonably cheap compared to other oyster places.

We had the oyster selection which was so fresh, followed by the Galician Octopus. The portion of Octopus was rather small considering it was a sharer but nevertheless it was absolutely delicious. The Panang Mussels were so more-ish I could’ve drunk the sauce with a straw!

The food was great as always but there was a very unfortunate incident today where there was a mouse scuttling across the table where I was sitting. A waiter came to chat and was very gracious but no offer was made to take a discount to the bill. This was disappointing as the mouse was there throughout the dinner...highly concerning at a restaurant!
