Seafood should be fresh, too bad it wasnt. Had a great evening tho
The staff that served us is not polite at all. While my family was reading the menu, she interrupted and cut through her to pull water into her cup. She is absolutely providing a bad customer. Very disappointed with the customer service. But overall the food quality is good. Wide range of food selection is offered but the menu design is not easy enough to read.
Made a 30th Birthday very special ☺️
Great restaurant tucked away in Kingly Court, service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was very lively on a sunny Friday evening, I would definitely go back and also recommend to others.
Wright Brother's is a great chilled please to have lunch, we have been many time and the staff are great fun and very helpful, the only thing I would say this week the oysters where on the small size and the little plates are little, but enjoy going
We had a wonderful time from the moment we arrived. Excellent service, incredible food, wine, and the oysters were delicious. We enjoyed the monkfish, the hake, and the red mullet special - would recommend all. A great location in Soho - we sat in the courtyard and enjoyed the warm weather and great atmosphere created by the surrounding restaurants.
I came in with the intention of trying the oysters of the day and ended up spending over 3 hours experimenting with oysters, fish, wines and apperativs. The wait and bar staff was so welcoming and I learned new things about seafood...the value and quality were also outstanding. I would definitely return!
Love coming to Wright Brothers, great fresh food with excellent service in beautiful surroundings. Already looking forward to going back! 🐟
Staff were nice enough. The restaurant was very quite. Food wasn't great. There are a lot of nicer restaurants around the same area.
Was excellent, amazing oysters, good atmosphere, excellent service!
Staff was friendly. The lady looking after us this evening was attentive, but spoke a little fast so couldn’t understand her. Seated at the back of the restaurant which was where the bar was. Was a bit noisy as bartender kept knocking things about; wasn’t even the customers being noisy as there was only one table drinking.
Atmosphere was nice and food arrived promptly. Quality of seafood was good. We ordered the full house seafood platter which had a great variety of seafood. Pork collar was soft and was nice with the potatoes, while the mussels were also really tasty in white wine sauce.
Would recommend this restaurant based on quality of food and service.
Not bad for the price!
Great seafood in a high energy location. The management and staff were very friendly and professional.
The food was fresh and we had a lot of choices. The mussels are the best. Every table had an order.
In the middle of Soho - absolutely right place to feel Soho. I went there with my clients and my bosses that were not used to London but wanted to feel West End; and they all were satisfied with foods - well, of course it's not a fine-dining Michelin gourmet, but it was still good - oysters were fresh. And the spaces got divided so that noise was not as loud as I had expected. No difficulties to have conversation with people a bit away. And friendly employees. I guess this place would go better with a group or casual nights - rather than a romantic night.
The oysters were great. Yet, couldn't say same for the rest of the platter we had. Sea snails tasted very plain, clams were full of sand ... just not as good as we had few times before in London Bridge branch. Don't think will have the same platter again. But definitely going to come back again for oysters and other food.
So we reserved a table but instead had to share one..we sat outside in the courtyard which was very animated. Quite a warm evening Our waitress was lovely , very friendly and accomodating. however i ordered a beer, which arrived with a warm glass and our prosecco and Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc likewise. The glasses should have maybe been not chilled, but at least given a bit of a mist in a fridge. One of my Oysters turned white and foamy as soon as my fork touched it - a sign that it was spawning and had absolutely no place on a restaurant table! The waitress replaced it without any fuss. However the 2 sharing plates we ordered (croquettes and squid rings) were completely unimaginative in presentation and taste. Sadly disappointing date night for me and my wife.
Excellent food and very friendly service. Atmosphere was very good
Wright Brothers is a favourite, but this time we had to rush to get to the theatre on time - food came on time, service was excellent - perfect for pre-theatre.
The BEST experience in London ever!!!!! Thanks to Vasselina!!!!
Nice evening, food and service both excellent. Would recommend.
Good quality and value for money in a prime location.
Oysters were a bit on the skinny side presumably due to seasonality.
Overall recommended for a relaxing Sunday brunch
Out experience at the restaurant was brilliant. It was our anniversary and the staff were amazing. I can’t remember his name but he was very tall....he greeted us with “happy anniversary” and had reserved us the best table in the house. Service was great and overall had an amazing evening. Will be coming again soon
Cooked food ok but fruit de mere platter not good
This was a family dinner and birthday. We had an early seating (6pm) so the restaurant wasn't too busy and was quiet. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant, and there were some lovely specials on the menu. The seafood was excellent. The small plates were perfect to start, and there was a lot of variety in the menu. The mains were delicious as well. Service was excellent. We had very attentive servers and our food came quickly. The desserts were very good as well. Overall we were very happy with our experience.
Dear Hannibal, thanks for the kind words, and time sending a feedback. I'll pass it on to the staff and chefs. We are working on a new menu to be launched soon with some great additions. It would be great to see you again at some point and hopefully we'll deliver the same standards. Please, do look for me when around. Kindest Manoel Collares General Manager
Went in for happy hour oysters with a friend and had a great time. I’d previously been to the Spitalfields branch which was stunning so had high hopes for this one and was not disappointed. The seafood was amazing. The service and staff were lovely. And the wine was delicious. We sat outside in the courtyard which had great atmosphere. Will return.
Our fries where forgotten and arrived as we were finishing the oysters. We decided to order some more oysters and another round of fries and the extract same thing happens again. No apology really. A bit lacking in service this time. Oysters were great as always though.
We love Wright Brothers but the food was not good
I had cockles, mussels and whelks
They all arrived on ice still frozen with no vinegar when we asked they gave us balsamic.
My husband had fish which he felt was not fresh!
It was a huge disappointment as I have to have treatment every day including Easter Monday and this was meant to be a treat.
Dear Angela, I would firstly like to apologise that we did live up to your expectations on this visit. We pride ourselves on our excellent seafood selections & freshest fish and clearly have not hit the mark on this occasion. I would really cherish the opportunity to discuss this directly. Your feedback in invaluable to us so thank you for taking the time to reach out. Please drop me an email on firstname.lastname@example.org when you can. Kind regards, Danny
Another amazing experience at Wright Brothers and the first time at Soho!
Attentive & friendly.
Amazing time manner, there is no waiting time. Food just flying out of the kitchen!
Whoever done my Boody Merry (gin), you did perfectly! It's one of the best bloody Merry I had in London!
Overall great place to enjoy the atmosphere and food.
The ambiance was great, the music a bit loud. The seafood platter was great the main course was good but a little on the small side. Overall good experience but came away thinking I could still eat something else.
Having been to the Borough Market restaurant on numerous occasions for lunch and dinner, I believed that our meal at the Soho restaurant would be equally as amazing. Overall, this was a really disappointing experience.
There were 4 of us, we were looking forward to the Seafood platter which we have had before at Borough. Unfortunately, our server didn't seem to have the correct information about the differences between the full house and deluxe platter, but kept trying to push us towards the £90 deluxe platter even though we had already stated we wanted to share the full house platter as a starter and order a number of dishes for our mains. We were informed that the full house platter contained langoustines but when it arrived it was actually crab (thankfully no allergies on our table).
For mains, we decided to share the following dishes: Galician octopus, squid ink taramasalata, plaice with brown shrimp from the daily specials menu and fries on the side. The taramasalata was truly horrible, the flatbread and lemon puree were not a good combination and were overly sweet (we didn't finish it), the plaice was overcooked, watery and lacking in flavour. The octopus was delicious (houmous was a bit of a weird pair to it) but the portion was minuscule and the fries were on the undercooked side for most of our tastes. We ended up ordering 2 portions of king prawns and a selection of oysters because we were still hungry and could have eaten more even after that!
Best bit about the meal was the wine.
The server was nice, just a real shame that she didn't have the correct information about menu and wasn't particularly attentive when it came to filling glasses with water etc..
Will not be returning to Soho any time soon
Dear Rachel, Thank you for your comments. I would like to express my sincere apologies that you're somewhat recent visit to WB Soho did not live up to your expectations. We truly appreciate all feedback especially as this time around you have certainly not had the type of experience we strive to offer. I would love to have the opportunity to discuss this directly. Please in your time drop me an email at email@example.com Kind regards, Danny
Very informed staff who couldn’t be more helpful. Fresh and first class seafood. Will happily come back for another visit.
Everything has been really nice!
Great servise, very nice food, lovely enviroment!
Tasty food - dover sole and plaice all cooked brilliantly. Attentive service...but expensive...£25 for main course on it's own so need additional sides is pretty steep...
My friend and I were there for the £1 oyster happy hour. Great deal for what it is! You only get to pick the one style of oyster - Jersey. Place is so beautifully set out. However service was lacking a bit and we were seated right next to the door, on a windy day, where people were coming and going, so it was unpleasantly cold when the door was left open and we had to get up ourselves numerous times to close it. Other than that, recommend to others to go back and try their food, maybe on a special occasion.
Good service, had a couple of cold mussels in my dish, think the food is overpriced and value for money not very good at all as a result of this. Can get better seafood elsewhere for a lot less.
Such a brilliant place and the food and wine were absolutely delicious.
We did find attacking the crab a bit daunting at first but the taste did make our efforts worthwhile.
I would certainly recommend Wright’s Brothers - I xan’t Wait to return.
Since I am a foodie, I didn't particularly enjoy the food that was served. We got the seafood platter and the shellfish had a lot of grit in them which wasn't pleasant. We decided to get some specials for our mains and they were overall a let down. Some dishes were extremely salty and ruined the whole dish for me and some of the seafood didn't seem as fresh as they could be. I wouldn't say the food was worth what we paid for.
However, the good thing was the service. Even though we went on Mother's Day and the restaurant had a good few tables full, the staff were happy to explain how the menu worked and were very professional.
An impressive menu. The sharing plates were a highlight. We had the tuna, scallops, prawns, sashimi and cuttlefish. I’d highly recommend the pork belly main and Korean whelks (nibbles). The oysters weren’t bad either! Service was proactive. There was a pleasant ambiance. A great start to our night.
The food was good but let down by the lacking of service attention
Great place to meet up with friends!
The restaurant looks beautiful and the ambience is really good. They have a lot of outdoors seats. The food was okay.. chips are good but the seafood was okay..
