A really great relaxed lunch before the theatre. Highly recommended
Great food and service, would highly recommend. Good location just off Oxford Street
I myself was recommended by a cook form Amsterdam and i would highly recommend aswell.
The men were very friendly. We were waiting for our daughter and they didn't bother at all.
At the end we could leave our Luggage so for at least an hour so we could do some shopping before leaving back to Amsterdam.
Its a lovely, casual, relaxed and warm ambience. Perfect for a night out with friends. We opted for a selection of mezze dishes (including Hommos, Baba Ghanuj, Halloumi with figs, Sujuk, Lamb Kibbeh, Falafel, Chicken Samboussek and Batata Harra) all of which were very tasty. We will definitely go again.
Great food and accommodating to vegans. would go again.
I have eaten at both Fitzrovia and Soho restaurants, the Soho one feels a little ‘forgotten’ in comparison to the Fitzrovia branch. Service was slow and a bit casual for my liking. Food was great, which counts for a lot, but overall a bit disappointing.
I’ve been to the original Yalla Yalla and am pleased to say that the standard of food is still amazing. I had friends visiting from South East Asia and they loved the food. Everything tasted freshly made. Shame we didn’t have room for desserts.
Great restaurant, good food! Portion sizes are very generous!
We had the feast menu, which is quite pricey per person, but let’s you try a bit of everything, I would recommend trying a different menu item, unless you haven’t eaten for a few days!! It felt like we wasted a lot of food, which we don’t enjoy, but there was no way we could eat everything!
Service was great, ambiance and decor great, really couldn’t fault it!
Best baba ghanough
Fun place always a little chaotic but lively and lovely food. Great if you are not in a hurry and want a relaxed evening out. Very reasonable priced. Fast becoming a favourite.
Found the restaurant online after searching for a birthday dinner venue, pics looked great, menu sounded pretty good. Overall reviews where good. I found the service ok, the food was very disappointed, found the food bland, there wasn’t any sauces to go with the dishes as Middle Eastern Arabic Turkish food they don’t over spice the food but have sauces to complement the dishes to give it more taste, was very disappointed even though I asked they said they didn’t have any. Definitely not returning. Customer service was ok.
We arrived 20 minutes late to the restaurant as we went to the wrong one just down the road and this was not an issue. We were seated right away and our server was extremely attentive and always getting us more drinks when needed and we were the last table in the restaurant and unlike most restaurants they just let us sit around until we were finished. Would highly recommend and look forward to taking all my friends there as the food was amazing!
Very lovely food with generous portions, attentive service, nice atmosphere. It was quite noisy in the half of the restaurant we were in - suspect because of high ceilings. I have normal hearing but struggled quite a bit to hear what was being said by my friends so if you have a hearing problem maybe ask to be seated at the end with lower ceilings.
The food was ordinary and drinks below standard. The most annoying thing was that the pitta bread was cold which is never fun.
Had an acceptable meal at Yalla Yalla over the weekend. Unfortunately two of the wines we asked for were out of stock. The food was average; two of us shared a meze while two had mains. The meze had highlights (kibbeh, livers) and some lowlights (tabbouleh), the overall impression was okay but I’m not sure I would rush back
The food was lovely, very authentic and nicely presented. The ambiance could do with a little bit of a tweak, as on a hot and sunny summer's evening, you don't necessarily want the lights turned right down and a candle placed in front of you before 7pm! The wine list was extensive, perhaps it would be nicer to have a wider selection of Lebanese wines, as the ones on the menu were very nice!
Great service and ambience , food was lovely ! 👍🏼
Great atmosphere, friendly waiters and comprehensive menu. The portions are large so don’t over the starters! Would definitely recommend!
I have been to the original, small and intimate Yalla Yalla lots of times and it’s lovely but this time I went to the new restaurant, which is big, open, exceptionally loud and the service is very poor. It took 35 minutes to get a drink and after asking the waiter what was happening, he proceeded to have a full on argument about it with the barman and another waiter, right in front of us. This was both awkward and stressful. On top of the fact that there is no intimacy, it’s so loud that you can’t hear yourself think, let alone chat and on several occasions the waiter walked off to talk to another waiter in the middle of me speaking to him about our order - very rude. I’m massively disappointed and won’t be recommending to friends anymore.
Lovely atmostphere and decor. Shame the waiter was a little overbearing!
the taste of the food was great. The service was quite fast.
Food is good but not amazing. Service slow on a Sunday lunchtime. Great place to go for a weekday dinner if you like sharing food, prices are not bad and the restaurants are pretty. 3 or 4 plates of mezze and one mixed grill was enough for 3 people.
Excellent Lebanese hearty meal, lovely fresh ingredients.
Great evening, great food and great service -- if a little noisy.
Took my husband for his birthday dinner on an early Wednesday evening. We greatly enjoyed the eclectic decor and prompt service. Food was great, we ate every last scrap and portions were on the generous side! We weren’t tempted to order alcoholic drinks as the juices and lemonades sounded delicious (and they were). We’ll be back!
The food at Yalla Yalla is insanely good! We ordered the shared feasting menu and it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and attentive which made the experience that much more special.
Lovely food! Been here before for my husband’s 70th birthday
Perfect food! Lovely service and staff
Quirky interior !
Can’t wait to come again ❤️
A fun evening. Good food and friendly staff but so loud! Difficult to have a conversation.
Great food, reasonably priced considering the location
Overpriced and not good food. Expected it to be more authentic. Very average and not good value in the end.
Three of us friends met up here - a both long awaited place that we all wanted to visit! We had loads of mezes which were all delicious! Love the atmosphere!
Delicious mezze, good sized portions full of flavour. Good buzz in the evening and reasonably attentive service.
I was expecting a lot having read the reviews, but was a bit disappointed with the food. All the rave reviews posted online made me choose this restaurant, but I have had better food and fresh breads at other Lebanese outlets.
The lianese feast blew our mind, lots of wonderfull food for an affordable price. Restaurant does get noisy, but that's part of the ambience.
Second time at this branch and throughly enjoyed it. My friends were also impressed. Not too busy for a Saturday night so it was perfect for us. Good food and ambience. Definitely will continue to come here.
This is a slightly funky restaurant in an area where it is not easy to find good value. The staff were friendly and keen to please. The food is fairly standard Lebanese fare. We will be back.
This is my 2nd time to Yalla Yalla and I didnt enjoy it as much as the first visit, which was around a year ago. We had the meze deal where u get 10 dishes for £24per person, didnt realise though that its the chef who chooses the various 10 dishes.
The dessert that came with the deal whilst good was also hard.
A number of things this place didn’t get right;
Too many tables to close together - I moved back and knocked into a table behind me through our meal.
One guest from the party adjacent to us, twice got up from their table and had to squeeze through a gap so small they knocked out plate over - twice.
The service was abysmal as we waited over 20 mins AFTER our food arrived for cutlery!
Once the Mezze was served, the flat bread for dipping arrived 15 mins after.
We had to get our food reheated and when we complained to 2 different waiters. We were told to wait as they were busy!
The fortunate thing is that their food was palatable.
Lovely staff - treated like we were at a home from home. Food is absolutely exceptional and the portion sizes are great. Considering the location, the prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend - perfect for any situation.
