Experiencing a new sensation of menus - a Kyoto-style templa, a speciality of Yasaka Endo, a new style templa, popular in Beverly Hills Endo and other specialities combining Kyo Kaiseki style found only in Gion. Inside of the restaurant is spacious and built in the style of a tea-ceremony house, that harmonized with contemporary architecture - and there are large and small tables partitioned by Kyoto-style lattice, comfortable private rooms, and two chef counter tables. The food is overpriced and not presented well
Seats are uncomfortable and the menu is restrictive
I love traditional Japanese food but this really was a waste of a holiday night dinner

A refined and non inexpensive cuisine in the wonderful Gion Quarter in Kyoto for which you have to preselect the menue without any possibility of choosing anything different if you are more than one. The tasty dishes are served very quickly one after the other as if you had a train or an airplane to catch. For a date or simply a dinner with a person dear to you there are certainly more romantic alternatives, set apart the fact that the dining room - in a basement - is not the most interesting sight you may have encountered so far. This said, one can only highlight the excellent quality and tastiness of the food.

Very polite servers. The main problem is the room: basement room with lots of hard surfaces and no ambiance - felt like a cafeteria. Did not enjoy listening to other patrons phone conversations - on speaker(?!). Food was just OK, but completely overpriced. No option for a la carte orders. Seems to cater to hotel guests with expense accounts.

オープンしたばかりで、綺麗でした。若いスタッフががんばっていた。今年初のマツタケの土瓶蒸し季節にあった料理も美味しくいただきました。
エビの天ぷらが最後にかき揚げで出てきたが、一尾丸ごとたべたいな。(≧∇≦)また期待です。
