The service was poor with over and hours wait for food. When we asked about this we were told its was due to being busy and having staff in training. The restaurant was half empty at this point so we struggled to see where and how it was busy. Manager was clearly stressed at having 20 people to serve and was rude and discourteous to my mother in law.

Certainky will be driving past this place going to better establishments in future. Waste of time.

I would tell people to give it ago. Bar service slow and was not attentive or aware of who was first or needed serving. If we would have left through this if we had not been with others. Staff more concerned with the people they knew rather than serving customers. Starters good, mains ok. Service slow. Went and got own drinks from the bar.
Staff were not in uniform so hard to tell who was working or meant to be serving. Was a sign saying in training.. though everyone?

In summary disappointed. Would not cope if busy.

Lovely location and setting. They really need to get more staff in the kitchen at weekends. Food took 90mims to come out and wasn’t really worth the wait. No presentation efforts what so ever. We only had a light lunch and it looked as though it had been slapped on to the plates. Shame as the setting was lovely.

We had an office Christmas meal here on 18 December. The food was excellent and the service was very good. One of our staff is gluten intolerant and was happily surprised at the gluten free options. Thank you very much :)
