Outstanding service and focused attention to covid limitations. Was impressed how team managed a group who were very much not social distancing at a birthday bash (they were incredibly loud and drunk and did kindof kill the ambiance) by approaching them about max number at the table etc. The food remains divine and truly outstanding and attentive server with great recommendations.
Great food, great restaurant and great service. Would go again
Excellent meal and impeccable service. Very attentive server as I was toasting a happy birthday and at the end of the meal the kitchen sent out some homemade truffles for my fiance. Superman hearing. Was a great staycation at the hotel.
Food quality was disappointing.
Service and atmosphere were very good.
Lovely space with excellent food and great service! They have lots of safety practices in place and it is so great to support local!
Very Enjoyable meal. Unfair time to Judge otherwise with limited seating's
One of our favourite restaurants. Always great service & food!
Everything about the experience was exceptional.
The quality and diversity of flavours was perfect.
First class service.

Great measures in place.
Always fun to hang out by the pool can’t wait till it opens up!

Thank you for the free parking and for the tip of later hours.
The ambiance is wonderful. I appreciate hand sanitizer available throughout and the machine is unique instead of a bottle.
The furniture and furnishings are so inviting.
I have had a few meetings here and every time it’s been a new wonderful experience.
I have enjoyed the Shredded Chicken Cobb Salad, Szechuan Pickle Brined Fried Chicken, Twice Cooked Fries and Poolside Nachos at Poolside which was heaven. Thank you to the Chefs for the delicious meals.
Kaitlynn, Morgan and Chad were fantastic servers!
See you again and always.

Yellow Door is always an amazing experience. We went in to experience the iconic Brunch at Yellow Door and were so pleased to see how they modified and accommodated their guests with covid 19 updates and safety protocols. We had a course brunch which was SO fun and it came with an incredible amount of beautiful food which is always made with love and passion.
Appreciated them being open when many others weren’t. Great Sunday breakfast for a very fair price.

Amazing...so happy they are open again for brunch.
Food was delicious, service was fast and friendly!
Food was delicious, my entree was cold unfortunately, but they dealt with it quickly and gave us some drinks while we waited. Would definitely go back.
Food is terrific as is the service. Support local during these difficult times
Overall, the experience was average. We had a reservation for 12:45 in the afternoon. When we arrived there were 2 couples ahead of us and no one was waiting to greet at the front and took a while to check in.
We both ordered eggs Benedict, 1 soft and 1 medium. The eggs were not cooked to our specification and both a little over. My company was great and it was a decent experience. If I were to consider going back it would be on a hungrier day to try the buffet only.
Came for brunch and everything was delicious! Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.
YYC Food and Drink Experience was a great opportunity for such a tasty meal! Went at lunch and tried both options (sandwich & squid ink spaghetti). What really stole the show was dessert. The mazipane stuffed banana bread was one of the best dessert to wrap up after such a delicious meal. Everything was beautifully plated and tasty!
Second time for lunch at the Yellow Door and ordered the special both times. Was not disappointed. Food was exceptional: hummus/cauliflower appy, brisquet, marzipan stuffed banana bread truly delicious. Quiet, comfortable atmosphere and interesting décor. Great place for eating, meeting friends or colleagues, visiting. We were all impressed and will be back!
Our server was wonderful and funny ! The food was really good and filling too!
Food is fresh, delicious and well presented.
Servers are amazing.
Highly recommended for a leisurely sunday brunch.
First, The waiter smelled like cigarettes. The table, chair and one of our plates were dirty when we were seated. The waiter helped for my friend’s wine selection very nicely but she couldn’t fine the one she liked after all the tasting.
Food was okay, but nothing was amazing. Feels like I can make them at home. The dessert (Grapefruits cake) was disgusting. I’m sorry but we couldn’t believe that was a chef’s desert of the day. We all left it after the first bite.
It was our first visit and we will never go back again. No wonder the restaurant was dead on Saturday night.
Outstanding food and value with taste of YYC
We certainly enjoyed the evening dinner. This is our 2nd visit and we will come again.
Excellent food and service
Nice evening with friends, food was great, nice waiter...overall a great evening!
We had reservation but to get anyone to seat 💺 us or approach us was awhile, I saw 4 staff members passing us by none had approached us to even say someone will be right with us. This happen twice with us already it the server we were assigned to was very attentive though after we had our table. Dessert could also be improved they should have more dessert selections and also it’s a brunch however we found more breakfast selection than lunch so maybe if they are offering brunch they should improve in putting more lunch selections like sandwich, meats and soup so the money we paid for would be worth the dine. ($26 per person)
They are very accommodating and when we didn’t have any reservations for brunch we still got a seat and enjoyed their hot brunch buffet! The staff are great, energetic and overall amazing! Food is great as well! Love the grilled ratatouille salad and little dessert table and their brunch cocktails! Will definitely go back!
We came here for dinner on Valentine's Day. They had a set 5 course menu for $75 each. Given there were 5 courses, we didn't expect them to be huge but they were pretty small.
1. Salmon croquettes.
These were really tasty but the size was tiny.
2. Beef carpaccio.
This was thinly shaved carpaccio, with a few tomatoes, and a few bits of toasted something like toasted pita bread. It was nice.
3. Lobster soup.
I think in our portion, there was about 4 pieces of fish and a small amount of broth.
4. For the mains, we had the salmon with green coconut curry and the striploin. Both were nice and the portion was reasonable.
5. Strawberry and white chocolate champagne cake.
This is probably the worst dessert that we've had at a restaurant. It was hideous and tasted cheap, as white chocolate typically does.
Overall, we weren't too impressed. Looking at reviews, it seems portions are normally a good size and that is not what we got. Perhaps more a brunch place than dinner.
We weren't a huge fan of the atmosphere either. The restaurant had a nice design but it very much felt like a "hotel restaurant."
We went for Valentines Day and had the five course meal organized for that night. All food was delicious and we had great service. Cost of the meal with drinks was a little pricey but we enjoyed our evening!
Always a good ambiance and food for my business meetings in Calgary!
The brunch was quite tasty and some very lovely flavours. The fritters were to die for. The server we had was incredible, I think his name was KJ or something very close to that. The only thing I didn’t like was the seating. There was three of us side by side so it was hard to have a conversation. And it was quite cramped. Won’t stop us from going again though. Hopefully sooner than later.
The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the presentation was great! That horse is weird, though.
We went for brunch on a Sunday morning. Two people in our party ate the brunch and two ate off the menu. Food was ok. Buffet food wasn’t as great as we would have hoped. But still nice. The macaroons were stale and hard, Chicken had very little flavor, noodle bowl wasn’t edible and truly the buffet wasn’t worth the money in our opinion. But still the menu offerings were delicious and perfect brunch foods. Great environment and fun decor. The service was impeccable!
There was another large table for a BD, noise level was very high. Our service was very slow.
I order the chicken sandwich. French fries were barely warm.
Noisy. Restaurants need to figure out how to entertain boomers as they are hard of hearing. Otherwise they won’t be chosen a second time!
