Great people and great food.
Great ambience😊 loved food and everything. Will come back..
Lovely meal amazing pudding only problem was the feta arrived after the main course. Will definitely be back.
Excellent interpretation of traditional Turkish food. The service is great, but could be a bit quicker!
Our experience was overall great, except the hostess who interrupted our meal one hour after we had sat down to tell us she needed the table back. We were a bit surprised by this since I had a confirmation for two hours on the booking. After having a conversation with her she said it was her mistake, although, I don't think she would have amended it unless I had spoken to her. It looked from their ipad that they had overbooked and probably wanted us out to accommodate other people.
I would still go back and recommend this restaurant becuase the food was outstanding and the atmosphere great
Our visit to Yeni far exceeded all our expectations. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great and the decor is cool right from the doorway. Their food is out of this world. We have started with small sharing plates and kept on ordering. Then we had beef ribs and lamb shank as main course. Both were impeccably seasoned, cooked to perfection and incredibly delicious. To finish the meal, we had crisp pastry and pudding fritters with house made ice cream which were rich and delicious. Staff were amazing and friendly. They helped us with the menu and took care of anything we needed. This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had.
Absolutely delicious food with attentive service and a great atmosphere. Winner.
We were a party of 4 and were able to try most of the menu. Very distinctive tastes for each dish served. Incredibly delicious. An interesting interpretation of Turkish cuisine, not a remodeling of what exists but reinvention of combinations and styles.
The beer selection, the cocktails and the Turkish wine selection is also remarkable.
Very chilled atmosphere with the right volume of music.
Service was very efficient and friendly. The chef visited our table to greet us.
And the value for quality is fantastic! Very affordable prices.
Had 6 starters and 2 mains shared between 4, which I think was too much food but each dish was outstanding; the flavours delicate, the plating sophisticated. Especially loved the beetroot and
the lamb shank. It’s on the expensive side but I would definitely recommend this restaurant
My Michelinstar new reastaurant literally like the translation of his original name “Yeni”
Superb evening: a beautiful restaurant which feels like a culinary oasis within the heart of soho. Service was impeccable and the food was first class: wonderful flavours and a very happy evening. Highly recommended.
We came here two times during our visit in London. Excellent dishes which were nicely presented. Beautiful decor, attentive service and welcoming atmosphere.
Delicious and authentic Turkish flavours with a unique approach. Really original tastes (don’t expect kebabs) and quality fresh produce. Beautiful interiors, interesting wine list and very good service. We paid around £60 per head. Not cheap but it's worth it.
I was here for a business lunch. The food and the wine was great. Dishes were delicious and well presented. Décor is relaxing and stylish. The wait staff were nice and knew the menu well. 5 big stars for everything. I will come again.
Food was pretty good! I suggest you go there early since some plates seem to run out after 10! Great service and ambience
The food in Yeni is absolutely amazing, we really loved it. Again!!! However, the service and staff (apart from Gloria) are truly and utterly useless. 7 staff running around for 15 or so tables and they still managed to completely ignore us, never look over to the tables and see if something is needed, walk around and don’t pick anything up that is empty. It takes forever to get a glass of wine; first they don’t see that you are waving at them, then it takes forever to actually get it. Far from actually coming over to ask if we want something. They deliver the sharing dishes with some mumble so it is hard to understand what is being delivered. Tea without spoons, no sugar and it took 10 minutes to get some milk. We also fell into the after mains abyss, nobody even came over for 15 minutes, we had to almost tackle them to get the menu. A Diet Coke that never arrived and was still on the bill. Stuff like that. They are just not trained at all it seems. The thing that annoyed a lot too was the very smal measure of wine that you get with the open wines. Even my cava (although it says small on the menu) was less than 1/2 of the glass. Who by the way has ever heard of a small glass of cava? That’s just silly. And it costs the same as a full glass in other places.
I asked them to take the service charge off and until Gloria came back to take payment they didn’t even ask ‘why’. Just no clue and then she apologised that they had a staff shortage. Be that as it may, it didn’t take away from the really bad work the remaining staff were doing and as mentioned there were plenty of them. We got a vague promise of a cocktail if we would come back and email her beforehand.
All in all great food but don’t expect proper service, you get more attention at a drive through. And it is just too expensive for that. We will give it one more chance maybe. Service needs to significantly improve (and it wasn’t just us who were struggling) and the wine glasses need to be fuller.
Really interesting modern Turkish food. Loved the herb fritters, fried feta with honey & hazelnuts, super-soft slow-cooked beef ribs and spicy-salty lamb sausage. Noisy and busy but energetic rather than unpleasant. Very attentive staff. Slightly too-attentive for me TBH. Overall - so many intense and delicious flavours. Not cheap.
Amazing food, great chef a must go! Definitely recommend
Bland and ridiculously overpriced food and slow service. Would not recommend.
Although the location of this restaurant is nice, I cannot recommend it given the ridiculous prices for extremely small and salty tapas.
Incredible food! Dreadful service - spilled drinks over us, candle wax over my friends expensive bag and didn’t apologise and were extremely slow to take orders. Didn’t offer an apology let alone compensation.
AMAZING! All around from the food to the service, everything was five star. This was my second time and I will definitely be back.
Nice food but a bit pricey for the restaurant and quantity!
Incredible spot, amazing food, unique wine list and top staff.
Yeni has Turkish food unlike any I've had before -- really distinctive flavors, like green apple and snow peas, all very fresh and light. We loved the food and wine. The waiters were able to give us the information we needed to understand the menu, and service was swift. The room is noisy, and we had to raise our voices to hear each other. Otherwise, really great, and I will be back
The food was fabulous. We ate the beef rib and the lamb shank after having several small plates. All were very original and super tasty. Staff were friendly and professional. We had an amazing experience and can’t wait to return.
I liked the food, the atmosphere and the service. But the food portions are very small which made me leave the venue hungry. I will not visit again.
They probably were short of staff so service wasn’t ideal
Incredible! Modern approach on what Turkish food is. Great service and ambience.
Fantastic food. Great service. It was one of the best dining experience we ever had.
Lovely cosy place. Really small portions but overall the food is good!
My second visit here. Consistently good. Fantastic service, food and atmosphere.
The best food I could have, we went to try on a friend’s recommendation. The food was surprisingly great. We had a lamb and aubergine and it was the taste you just fall into. The food was cooked really well. Definitely need to go back soon.
Lovely restaurant, very tasty and imaginative menu, fantastic staff. We went for a range of starters and mains to share, staff suggestions spot on, food arrived at a good pace. The decor is simple, tables nicely spaced and lots of open windows. The upstairs area is as nice as street level with a cocktail bar for pre or post dinner. Recommend a visit, we’ll be going back!
Fantastic gourmet level food, great service and lovely cocktails. The chef has a unique twist to Turkish and Mediterranean cousine and it simple is magnificent.
The best beetroot ever! The food is wonderful, well worth experiencing.
Top quality food and service. A lot of delicious small plates to share. Dishes are authentic, creative and original. We loved it!
This was my first time at Yeni. I found the food way overpriced and sadly not that flavorsome, the quality did not much the prices. The house Greek wine was watery. My main arrived way after my friend ate theirs.
This is a fantastic addition to London’s food scene. Uniqe and original combination of tastes surprises you at every bite. I think they’ve already started to change what we know about the Turkish food here in London. It is not cheap but top quality. Impeccable service, amazing house cocktails and a very good wine list. Not easy to find all of these together at this level. It was a delicious, stylish and relaxed experience for us. We will be back for sure.
