Great food. I think the ceviche was better when we had dinner at Yopo in February, it had more flavour. Portion sizes are quite small and we don't like leaving a restaurant still feeling hungry! the spatchcock chicken was tasty, but it should be listed as spatchcock poussin.... because it's a very small chicken! Lamb tacos were great. Drinks were lovely. Overall, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe of the Jurema, we will definitely be back.
Awful night at Yopo. First we arrived at the restaurant and all the entrance door where locked. We had to call them. One man come and Instead of apologising he told us the other door Was open and took us back there for him to realise the door was totally chained. Then restau was outside. Even-though the night was chilled, they had no heaters whatsoever. Just throw that even the waitress were wearing because it was cold. Menu: IT IS NOT YOPO menu. They only served JUREMA menu and they did not informed me. Eventhough at the time of booking YOPO menu was still showing online. Then waitress arrived and asked if we want drink because they do not serve dinner anymore. What a joke! We had to explain we were 15 mn because we waited outside.( it was just 21h45 btw) Then after talking with few people about that and in front of us. She came back saying we can still order food but everything will come same time on the table. That was too much, especially on our anniversary night that the management was made aware on our booking. Freezing on a terrace, eating tapas ( instead of a real menu) and all at once ! Come on! We asked at least to get the hot dishes after the cold ones. We had to order all the menu because portions were obviously tapas style. Octopus empanadas are stated 3 but we got 2 when we told the waitress. She said it s a mistake on the menu.will she bring one more? No. Then dessert there are only 2: 1 cookie and 1 scoop of ice cream. I asked before for a candle or a happy birthday written somewhere. We did not have one or the other. On top of that not one of our waiter were mask or gloves when touching the cutlery. And to end this magnificent evening, once we paid the bill ( 23h15) they shut off the lights. All of them, leaving us literally in the dark. I thought it was a joke but no! Then the man from the entrance came to tell us where the door was, no apology whatsoever for living us in plain dark. Ps: people smoke around you while you re having dinner!
Service was patchy and quantities small, but it's a fun night out if you don't mind being drowned out by the music
Magnifique expérience ❤️
We were looking for something new and unusual restaurant to try out as a family very last minute and came across this in our search! Not at all disappointed! Would definitely go back again! Fits all our flavour palates.
Delicious meal and very creative cuisine !
Great wine list
Loud and vibrant atmosphere
Food great. Service great.
Only turn off is not allowing us taking pictures of the artwork. It’s a digital era filled with insta-famous restaurants, they should allow people take photos however they like.
It was great - really enjoyed it!
Amazing atmosphere, excellent service and incredible food. Perfect location for special occasions. Looking forward to returning. 👍
Did the set menu- food was incredible! Arrived on time but wanted a drink at the bar. No issue delaying our table and drinks were transferred to the table. Highly recommend for special occasions.....
Great atmosphere. Fun music and delicious food. Will definitely be returning!
This is a gorgeous experience. From the ambiance to the food to the service.
Excellet food beautiful atmosphere and gorgeous place
We booked Yopo through OpenTable for a pre-theatre dinner, not expecting anything in particular. The whole experience was amazing. Uber trendy but relaxed and lovely setting (from the OTT bar to the downstairs bathrooms), brilliant service and fabulous food and wine (we particularly recommend the squid, the octopus empanadas, the mushroom raviolis and THAT lamb). We were disturbed by another guest but the staff’s reaction was incredibly efficient: we were offered complimentary champagne as an apology, which was totally unexpected but obviously much appreciated! Away for bustling Oxford street, it’s a hidden gem that needs to be discovered! Enjoy!
Loved the decor and the relaxed atmosphere. The mango, peach and passionfruit smoothie was lovely, however I have had better eggs Florentine, and portion was small. Not worth the price.
Yopo is a beautiful venue with a good selection of food that prepared very well and super tasty. The staff were great too, very friendly and polite with a good balance of leaving us to enjoy our breakfast in peace and making sure we had everything we wanted. We will definitely be back.
Good venue with great design, and food was very tasty. Value for money was a bit off as we found the bill quite high.
Lovely little spot, for intimate dinning. Staff very helpful and the cocktails were very imaginative.
The food was great, but my one comment would be that only having 1 proper vegetarian option for both starter and main was not really good enough (especially when the main was pasta).
perfect for a business lunch as the noise level is very low, the ambience is impressive and the food is great
Music way too loud, very slow service
What a delicious surprise... never sure about restaurants within hotels but YOPO certainly proved they can be excellent. Our meal was a food adventure, just what we like, with tastes and flavours which were not only there to enjoy, but make you question. The presentation was exquisite too and from start to finish we were kept on our tastebud toes.
The staff were efficient and friendly, the environment casual and warm with perfect light levels (always important).
Would definitely like to return...
Food was good but wine choice was limited and very much overpriced
Fantastic ambience, staff and service and wonderful food - just perfect for our evening with friends, and a surprise birthday cake thrown in as well - well done.
Decor fun and contemporary, food high quality and beautiful (taste and presentation). Front of house very welcoming.
Service was hit and miss - over the top when we didn’t need it and not around when we did. We would expect waiters to know how to pronounce all the items on a limited menu.
Wine list has some good choices but is upper range and we were surprised to be charged per person for tap water.
Nice evening but it’ll be a once only visit from us.
Great place, perfect service. Very modern and good atmosphere
Everything was perfect, food, atmosphere, decor, ambience! The staff are just amazing with loads of personality.
Absolutely sensational- loved everything about Yopo. Not one for reviews but this place and all the staff deserve recognition
Well tasting food, great venue, staff were outstanding.
All in all an amazing experience.
Felt slightly unwelcomed/looked down on by head of house but waiter was delightful, delicious food and perfectly filling. Music slightly on the loud side
YOPO is a hidden gem that needs to be explored by all. Outstanding food at affordable prices, matched by outstanding surroundings and impeccable, unpretentious service.
The love the food at Yopo and relaxing atmosphere.
Only 1 thing want to have more choice in the menu.
Great food but a bit of a noisy place. It's got a cozy look inside.
Flavours of food very good. Unfortunately service was poor. Asked a few questions on menu, waitress had no clue. Brought wine twice. Asked if we we wanted to see dessert menu, when we were still waiting for our mains. I was charged for a different wine. Overpriced. Lack of atmosphere in restaurant though music was good.
Lovely looking place.
Staff very friendly.
Food was good, the Ravioli I had was a bit salty, but not a problem for me.
Good wine list but expensive.
I would recommend this place as the Hotel is beautiful & is a great destination to impress on a romantic meal.
We went to Yopo to celebrate a friends engagement - bar and ambience are v cool and food was excellent - what the excellent bar staff provided however was v much missing from the restaurant staff and the service v much let it down given how it expensive is was. Would I go back for that cost and that service? Probably not but I’d definitely go back to the bar!
Beautiful ambiance, felt like I was a VIP. The treatment by the entire team was 5 star. A few of the guys looked a little angry but very polite and provided fantastic service. Was specially pleased by the table service i received in the outside garden area by the bar (forget the names of the two ladies) and very impressed by the friendliness and what seemed genuine service from the restaurant receptionist (blond lady with tatoo) amazing. Also our server was brilliant and welcoming.
It is important to point out that for a hotel and restaurant of this calibre, one expects a snobby uptight (we're better than you) attitude from staff and the hotel and restaurant however both The Mandrake and YOPO have proven that a combination of cool, modern service can be friendly and have that old fashioned VIP service that no longer exists!
We will def be back!
Amazing food, wine, cocktails and atmosphere.
Really really enjoyed the experience and service was outstanding. Highly recommend
Food was excellent..Wine list really expensive, nothing under.£50. Music was loud at 7pm!
The place is really beautifully done. The Ground Floor and first-floor terrace are quite unique.
But in terms of food, it needs to be refined to be up to the standards of the venue.
