From awesome arches and gilded mirrors through to vaulted ceilings and restored furniture, there are many areas within the venue to suit your needs with two private dining rooms and a hidden courtyard, in addition to the restaurant and large open bar.

Sticky Toffee Pudding, Stem Ginger
Crumbed Fish and Chips
Celeriac & Apple Soup, Truffle Croutons
We were sold “a Merlot” which was very average except for the price. £64 per bottle. Felt totally ripped off. The burgers were ok but the chips worse than McDonald’s. That’s all we had except for the £220. I’ll fit three
Wonderful selection of vegetarian food. And hot water bottles and blankets!
Heaters were not working and staff was a bit moody
It was expensive for what it was, wait Staff were fine but the food was basic, for example the Burrata was a flat piece of crap not a vibrant ball of mozzarella. Idiot sandwich
This is the third time I’ve been to the York and Albany in 10 yrs. Each time the service has been absolutely dreadful. The food (lunch) was reasonable the first time. The second two times (in 2017 and today) have been brunch and the food was positively unpleasant. How do you actually manage to make avocado on toast and pancakes and a full English taste horrible?? Tea and coffee served cold. Ok. I give up. It might be my nearest fine dining but never again.
The food was delicious but our waiter was fantastic and friendly. He gave us all hot water bottles and blankets as we were cold!
The food is very good, the service was very attentive and the beers os tap very fresh. Overall great experience!
Great service and a great vibe. I would definitely come again.
Fantastic, great staffs.
Thank you for a lovely first proper meal away from home after lockdown. The team looked after us so well and the food was delicious.
Great establishment, staff were amazing! Considering we were sat outside, we were provided with blankets, hot water bottles and heating. Highly recommend!
Pleasant staff. Food was tasty. Given we are outdoors at the moment due to restrictions it would have been much appreciated if there were more patio heaters for the area given it is still chilly! Got too cold. Food also then got cold far too quickly.
Food was great and they are dog friendly!
Really good pancake for breakfast. Roadside restaurant so lots of noise nearby. Outdoors due to current government rules. Generally a lovely place for breakfast. Quick service.
Not enough heaters for outdoor dining or much effort to create any kind of ambience outdoors. Service was a little disappointing with waiters unable to give recommendations or advice. But food and wine was excellent.
Enjoyable late lunch a bit on the pricey side but to be expected I guess.
Very good place. Bit pricey but overall, a very good experience. Polite, helpful staff, too. Would defo go back. There inside looks great too. Obvs nobody can sit there yet but I can only imagine how good it would be once May 17 comes! Defo a place to visit in Camden.
Nice place but the food is pretty basic and very overpriced for the quality
Great and friendly service
Our first outing in London since forever and this was such a great choice! A lovely table on a quiet side street in the sun. Our servers were charming and pleased to be back at work... the food was simple and delicious - I would particularly recommend the asparagus salad. A very pleasant experience and I hope to return again soon. Thank you!
Very simple. I have been going here for ages as it is really convenient for nearby music venues and I like the food and the ambience. But last night, with everyone forced to sit outside, before the Covid dining restrictions are eased to allow us all to eat inside, it was FREEZING cold. They only had TWO outdoor heaters for the entire restaurant. They did offer blankets, which helped (but only a bit). Surely they can send someone up the road to B&Q and get a few more outside heaters.
Outstanding service, great pizza and dessert. Sun trap in the afternoon !
Dreadful rude manager put me outside the pizza place and not on the terrace where I had booked
The waiter confirmed that he had moved me on arrival. Why?
Because I was dining alone
Disgusting service- I was basically sat in a yard watching others dining where I had booked to dine several weeks ago
When I asked the vile manager why he said ‘it was the only table left’ which was a downright lie. My waiter checked and my table was waiting for me but the manager sat me elsewhere
Gordon needs to sort this vile person out
Food and wine was good but I felt humiliated and angry fine dining while others around me are pizza!
First meal out of lockdown. A bit cold when it got dark but all in all very good. Also 500ml wine options v good value.
The food was not as normal , they forgot many things . The dessert arrived without key ingredients. They forgot drinks and food was not as normal , I have gone for years .
Good service and good food (JFC wings are a must), we both had the burger which was spot on. Sticky toffee pudding was a let down though, but we consoled ourselves with a quite lovely espresso martini in its place.
Lovely. Didn’t rush us - really kind and helpful serving staff. Great food.
It was ok, but not what you would expect from a Gordon Ramsey restaurant - no frills, very basic - canned orange juice for example - nice in the sunshine though
Great spot near Regents Park, very nice staff and good if you get a seat in the sun
We arrived expecting an outside table ready for dinner but were given a wooden table with no heater, tablecloth, cutlery or glasses which was a bit of a surprise. They did have blankets which helped and the staff were all very friendly and helpful so despite the service being slow we had a lovely time. Perhaps prepare the tables so it feels a bit more welcoming in future. The food was delicious though so will go back but hopefully sit indoors!
Noisy junction, no heaters. Only 1.5 hours booking which was short to eat
Great location, delicious food, very friendly and helpful staff. We had a great time!
We waited over an hour for our food that when it came was overcooked and okayish. There was no apology. Not much style and very little substance, unfortunately this was not reflected in the price. The best thing I can say about the experience was the hand cream in the toilets. We will definitely not be returning, very disappointed.
Great food in a nice setting. The staff are lovely!
The actual restaurant is nice but looks very dated! Burger was so salty and should come with chips! I would not go back, much nicer places around that area
Overpriced for the food quality. Don't feel the passion
The food was AMAZING. It was cooked beautifully. I visited the branch on Sunday and thought I’d be disappointed by their small Sunday menu but actually I was pleasantly surprised. The Hiramasa king fish tartare was delightful - a mix of flavours - I advise putting it in the lettuce/greens to consume. For main I got the crispy skin trout and it was cooked to PERFECTION. The mix of flavours left me wanting more but I was unable to eat more as I was so full. My plate was as clean as possible, I left NOTHING. My friend and I got triple cooked chips and grilled broccoli as sides and they were delicious. Next time I come here I WILL get dessert! The only negative was the loud family next to our table but that can’t be blamed on the restaurant. By the way for every main meal purchased, a child can eat for free!!
We 4 adults had a lovely late lunch after a day at the zoo with 2 primary age children (one household). The food was excellent and the service exemplary. All the staff went our of their way to ensure that our lunch was relaxed and enjoyable. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, despite the restaurant being relatively quiet in mid afternoon. The seasonal menu is very good value.
The food was really nice and Iza's service was phenomenal. I'll be back
