Absolutely brillant night - food was great - Staff were great and friendly and really helpful- bands were excellent Falling Doves and Porcelain Hill. Would go there again when next up in Harrogate.
Lovely Yorkshire take om Tapas.
Hidden gem, found this place last year and come back every time we visit Harrogate.
Food is second to none and good friendly service every time.
First time we have been went in the afternoon to have a drink decided to book a table .. food was fantastic the ribs and the cheese dishes “wow” .. the staff we really friendly and the band we great it was so busy we stood on the stairs to watch best view .. would recommend everyone to go a night to remember
Great experience, excellent and friendly service, great food, awesome cocktails with blues and jazz on the background
Proper nice food will be returning without a doubt. Thanks
The Yorkshire tapas is placed above the blues cafe bar round the corner from Bettys in Harrogate. It’s a small restaurant with around 6 tables and usually a couple of members of staff. The food was lovely and Yorkshire inspired but was a bit on the salty side with some of the selections which did put a downer on the food. Alongside asking 3 times for a drink and not receiving it the entire time sat at the table as it was forgotten and therefore going the whole meal without one. The staff were pleasant and overall it was a nice experience but one I may not return to.
The food was outstanding...some of the tapas dishes were better than what I’ve had in Spain!
Empty when we arrived and only two more people arrived.food was ok but could have been a lot better service was hit and miss
Food was fantastic and incredibly high quality. the atmosphere is great. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. We were in Harrogate on Business and everyone enjoyed the food.
Will be back next time we are in harroagte.
Food, atmosphere and music are all amazing.
The staff here are fantastic and so friendly.
Quirky little place x
Great concept, delicious food. Very nice evening, thank you.
Fun place to visit lively with live music food different and enjoyable go for fun not a quiet night out
We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The portions were large for tapas so Two each is plenty. The pulled beef and The chicken masala were lovely
Everything was Fabulous. Had a beautiful meal and staff were great
Amazing choice of delicious dishes enjoyed by all the family
Staff friendly and very efficient
I can't review as they couldn't fulfil our booking. We were told we had "booked too late" on arrival and had about a 40% chance of getting a table if we waited 30 mins. So if you want to go suggest calling rather than booking via OpenTable!
Not what we were expecting when we arrived. It's a busy pub downstairs but upstairs was much quieter and the food was amazing. I can recommend the bloody Mary's also....
Food was of a high quality and excellent value for money. Bar staff knowledgeable and helpful. Great atmosphere, made all the better by live music. hope to return again if ever I'm in the area
Terrific food & service. Most portions big enough to class as a main meal on their own!
We sat upstairs in the booth facing the window. The music was on downstairs and we could hear it at the right volume, it wasn't too loud. The staff made sure we always had drinks.
The food was perfect , large portion sizes than the typical tapas.
The atmosphere was lively. We didn't go anywhere else we stayed there most of the evening!
Would definitely reccomend and will be returning soon.
Yet again fabulous afternoon with friends, with amazing food, great wine and brilliant attentive staff.
The Yorkshire tapas is so fresh and exciting , loads of choice for all tastes and diets.
Love it !well done blues bar.
Great food, loved it, great music. A perfectly placed bar in Harrogate.
Great tasting food.
Nice live blues music too
Price is good value
This is my third visit to the Yorkshire tapas and yet again was highly impressed. There wasn’t a dish we chose that wasn’t delicious. The menu is really quirky with a twist on Spanish tapas, we were all wowed ! We will definitely be back again on our next Harrogate weekend.
Fantastic food - loved the whole evening - will definitely call in again next time in Harrogate- have been telling everyone what a great place it is 😀😀😀
Really good food, attentive staff great value.
We arrived at 6 so I think just opening, atmosphere was lacking at first but after half an hour their was a really good vibe. Would certainly visit again.
The food was excellent, the service very friendly and efficient and the beer was equally good. A very pleasant place to spend a lunchtime.
We walked down from Harlow Carr through the Valley Gardens so the location was excellent, I would highly recommend it if you want a pleasant stroll and good food in the Harrogate area.
Great place, my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the bell pork and ribs! They also accomodated me well with my veggie needs haha 😋 great music, went downstairs afterwards to watch the band too. Fab night thank you x
Knowledgeable staff, good drink selection, particularly gin and warm welcome.
There was a relaxed vibe and the live blues band playing downstairs added to the atmosphere. Perfect for a casual night out ...and the small plates were perfect for sharing and trying different styles
Nice place to be and the guy serving was friendly. Really enjoyed the background music. The food though should have been better. Everything was heavily over salted. The garlic bread had so much salt on it we couldn’t eat it. Perhaps the wine list should be extended too with a cheaper offering as they were all priced at £19.95 which I feel is too expensive.
What a FIND!!!
Excellent food and great local beers, friendly staff, live music. I had the Yorkshire Wrap with slow cooked Beef and Stockpot Garvey.
The best gravy I have ever had!!!!
Superb Yorkshire take on classic Spanish tapas - Yorkshire Chorizo, taties braves & lots more! All delicious & v well presented. Friendly, relaxed staff & a casual venue above the famous Blues Bar in Harrogate - live music below in the bar but not obtrusive at all.
Staff are friendly, food it great. It's a go to with family and or friends. Always a great night. Love it.
This restaurant is located above the Blues Café Bar which has live music every night. We wanted to combine food and proper live music (not some singer with backing tracks) so this place fitted the bill. On arrival you first enter the Blues Bar before ascending the stairs to the restaurant. A disco was playing before the live band came on. The disco felt it necessary to be loud enough to break the windows and made it difficult for the waiter to speak to us, After a while, it reduced volume to a comfortable level upstairs. I think the band may have said something while they were setting up . . . . .
Anyway, the band is visible from the restaurant via a video + sound link and was at the right level upstairs. The food was interesting and enjoyable having a fairly wide 'Yorkshire' menu which meant classic foods re-named in a Yorkshire mode for a bit of fun. The service was good and friendly. When we had eaten, we thought we would look in downstairs but it is clearly a 'stand - up - and - drink' kind of place. The music was on the loud side (and I have been playing in rock bands for 50 years) so all in all not quite comfortable enough. The place was packed so clearly, this does not put the younger punters off. The band was not bad (Jed Thomas Blues Band) with avoidance of all the blues clichés appreciated.
All in all, a nice change for a night out if you appreciate proper live music and decent food.
Grand wee place. Noisy but that is to be e pected from a small bar with live music!
Staff were excellant, honest warnings about which items were in high demand and likely to be slower, appreciated warning about tapas portions being larger than typical for spainish tapas.
Food was excellant, yorkshire staples miniturised into tapas. Also much cheaper than expected given the location and surrounding restraunts.
Absolutely brilliant. Thank you.
The service and staff were super and not be faulted.
Had seen this online and so pleased we booked, everything about it was fantastic. The food was great (we got 6 tapas between 2 and there was enough for 2 good appetite) the blue cheese fondue was amazing!!. The service was also fantastic- the waiter/ bar man was great and very attentive- he got my husband a seat as uncomfortable in the booth. Would definitely recommend- it’s not a posh place but best food I’ve had in a long time
Ate dinner here on a busy Saturday night with three friends. Food was great, drinks menu extensive and the staff was efficient and friendly.
