When it comes to sourcing our ingredients, we have chosen each producer very carefully. Fresh whole fish comes in from day boats off Cornwall and whole lambs from local suppliers are butchered in-house.
Executive Chef Hus Vedat – ‘My food philosophy is simple: choose good ingredients from producers that are passionate. Treat those ingredients with respect. Lick them with fire and let them shine. For Yosma, I will be exploring influences and flavours from my heritage. I want to showcase the depth, character, and history of Anatolian food and drink (while having fun) and sharing the fascinating stories behind one the world’s most prominent cuisines.’

The food and ambience were good. Our service from our main server was very disappointing. We had to continue to get his attention when we wanted something and had to wait an excruciatingly long time to finally get our bill and pay. We were interested in ordering dessert but couldn’t find our server at most points after our mains we’re dropped off. The restaurant was busy but other servers looked like they were still able to manage their sections. The tone of our server was rude at points and a face was made (a roll of the eyes) when I was trying to pay for the bill.
I would return again because the food was really good but wouldn’t be inclined to recommend to friends in case they had a poor service experience as we did.
Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. will go again.
Evening meal at Yoshma, seated by the window on some very comfortable seats!
The waiter was MAXIM very attentive, explained the menu in detail and advised on the best dishes so a great experience being served by him.
Food as Yoshma is great, would highly recommend the Tray Kebab to share....will definitely visit again!
Just wish portions were a bit bigger but it was delicious so cannot complain. I am definitely holding more business lunches at this place.
Everything was amazing. From the food to the staff. Really good. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was great, the chicken wings were so so good, and the knafeh (the main reason I went) was so so good. We sat at the counter by the kitchen, good seats to watch some kitchen action. I definitely recommend!
One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Great drinks selection.
Delicious food served in a really cool and chilled out setting. Staff knows about the food and happy to advise. Our server, Jade, was ten out of ten.
Super staff ! Super service! And superb food!
They pleasantly returned a glass of wine that we did not like ..
Good food and convenient location for a business lunch near Baker Street. The restaurant is relatively quiet and vast and cuisine is very good, waiter provided a 20% discount. It took longer than it should have to get the bill so waiting staff could have been a little more attentive. Also went back the same evening to have a drink at the bar which serves great beer and service was good too (happy hour drinks)
We went on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was pretty quiet. Felt the place lacked atmosphere. The service was ok but not great, staff didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu.
For a Turkish restaurant it lacked any real authenticity and felt like it could have been any modern Mediterranean restaurant.
It was very disappointing! Service was poor. Waitress rarely available, mostly chatting among themselves at a corner. No knowledge of the menu. Food was tasteless. Table service was not properly set up at all. Some North London Turkish restaurants do much better!
great service, nice food but was just a little pricey for what it was.
Loved the balance of traditional ingredients with modern touch and creativity. Nice environment, attentive and friendly service.
The food and flavours were varied, intense and surprising. The selection of Turkish wines were a nice surprise. A great setting to gather with friends!
Very ordinary, wouldn't go back blah blah blah blah blah blah
The service needs to be a lot quicker and more professional!
Fantastic food and fantastic setting
Excellent customer service...very attentive. Food was amazing and tasty but a little pricy. Overall really good place for dates and catching up with friends.
Great food, overall experience a let down, service was adhoc, a lot of waiting at a time when the restaurant was less than 1/2 full. Although highlighting at ordering that one of the guests is dairy intolerant, this was sadly ignored, more waiting as a result. Ambiance a bit wrong, loud music meant hard to converse, takes away a relaxing environment. We thought we were in a club sometimes and not a restaurant. Shame as the food is good but the other parts really let down the place.
What a wonderful surprise. The food was exquisite and exciting ! Excellent service despite being very busy . Definitely going back again .
Amazing food as usual but outrageous that the remove the babaganoush from the menu! Nonsense!
A lovely big restaurant with great traditional Turkish dishes. Lovely ambience and the service was amazing...super friendly staff.
We go to Yosma often. Great ambiance and their weekend brunch is to die for!! Very closely modelled on the sumptuous Istanbul weekend brunch (quite a show!) they use authentic ingredients, well presented with quality produce. Bottomless Turkish black tea is a must! Always friendly service. We usually go with our kids and invite family friends. Great restaurant for dinner as well.
Great sharing starter/meze dishes and cocktails, but the mains were very disappointing (my beef rib was basically 90% fat). Decent, if overpriced, wine selection. Meal for4 plus some wine came to £320ish which I wouldn't expect for the quality of food. If I were to go again, I'd stick to the meze dishes only.
It was a menu where you couldn't go wrong. I can't reccommend them highly enough!
Great Turkish food, good prices, very good and attentive service, and great decoration. The place looks great, the food is very nice and the staff are very friendly. Definitely recommend!
Terrible food. I had to return the sweetbread. Would not go back
Really delicious food and charming efficient service. Everything was very fresh tasting and well prepared. We particularly liked the sardines wrapped in vine leaves and the short rib dish with aubergines. The meat was melt in the mouth. The wine list is not extensive but we very much enjoyed our bottle of Turkish wine. Our only criticism was that the music was a little loud but I’m sure they would have turned it down if we had asked. Hope to go back soon.
Overrated restaurant. Food has no taste, we received our coffe & hot chocolate cold, slow service. The only thing i like is the jam, although we ordered 4 kinds of eggs and the turkish platter. Will never come again and will never recommend it
If you are Turkish or know about ''real'' Turkish food, Yosma is not the right place for you. Prices are overrated, service was very poor even they don't know how to serve Raki! It is hard to call Yosma as a modern Turkish kitchen after I have seen randomly sliced cherry tomatoes are served as a Gavurdag Salad. Would not visit again!
Loved the food, the staff were attentive and the whole experience was excellent. Can’t wait to go again.
Modern turkish but most dishes are not turkish. Expensive and bad service
The restaurant was very nice and food was good. I appreciated the fact they asked about allergies before we placed our order. Everyone was very kind and the service was quick. Nice bar area as well.
Our visit started very well. We were welcomed with great charm, seated quickly in a lovely table by the window and this was followed with delicious warm bread and some excellent olives. The waiter arrived to take our order and managed to do all 5 of us with no notepad.
The problems began after this as our starters arrived in bits and pieces over about 25 minutes. My husband and daughter-in-law had finished by the time my two sons had theirs and mine didn't arrive correctly until after everyone else had finished. They first of all brought me the wrong item but it was still after everyone else. The restaurant was not busy as we had gone for a pre theatre meal it just seemed that the service was not totally on the ball. We watched other people arrive after us and get their food before us. When we ordered wine we were told that they were virtually out of all Turkish reds but the waiter suggested an alternative which was not on the menu and this was very nice.
The quality of the food varied - my calamari starter was excellent as was the cheesecake for pudding. My son's chicken dish was very tasty but a small portion. My other son's lamb chops were very good too. My husband felt the chicken wings to be rather small and too sweet, though this is probably down to personal taste as he likes things spicy. I had the rump steak which was very disappointing as well as being one of the more expensive dishes on the menu - it was on the chilly side, rather rarer than I had asked for and the flatbread it was served with was underneath everything else and tasted oily and flat.
To add insult to injury, later that evening I had an email from Open table to ask why we hadn't turned up for our booking which I think is another sign that organisationally, there are problems. We were all very much looking forward to the meal and left disappointed.
Delicious brunch, didn't have to queue for ages, great menu and everything is halal
Really nice place to eat very good food a big spacious restaurant
Great service and staff surprised my friend well for her birthday ☺️
Sent back Trukish tea as it did not taste well (past optimum brew time) and asked for Turkish coffee instead. Found that the teas were still included in the bill. Asked the waiter why it was the case, he took out money from his pocket and left it on the table! Our issue was not money but courtesy to the customer. And this gesture was very rude and offensive. They need to learn how to make and when to serve (or not to serve) Turkish tea and train their staff properly. Disappointing!
The food was generally very good, except the lamb shank which lacked flavour. The service was very good when we arrived and the restaurant was empty, but was much slower later as the place filled up.
amazing food. Must try their kunefe (for who loves cheese and sweets!)
