Excellent food and A class service, lovely decor too!
Delicious creative food, excellent service.
Every member of staff was incredibly attentive.
Excellent food and service , my wife and I visit Thailand often and the food was very close to authentic Thai cuisine . My wife had a green curry which she said was amazing , the starters were all excellent particularly the hoisin duck gyoza , the venison dish was excellent as was sticky ped yang with gai lan ( duck dish ) , the wine list is good and prices for
London were very reasonable . It was my son’s birthday and they gave him a small dessert with a candle . Definitely go again if visiting my son who live in Putney
Exceptional food & service. Lovely little outdoor space for a sunny day. Tempranillo for £3.95 with a Thai tapas at £1.00 (1pc) what’s not to love! Will be heading back for the Sunday bottomless brunch.
Ambiance was lovely. Nice and cosy feel.
He was all for the £1 dimsum happy hour !
The whole family loved and truly enjoyed the relaxed and super friendly ambience of this restaurant and the tables were set to give utmost privacy and make the family time more memorable– like an exotic comfy dining room with an open kitchen watching the excellent chefs at work who made an immense effort to make our experience so cherish-able and made us all feel so welcome, with great sense of humour and absolutely 5 star food and presentation. I definitely would return to try more dishes and would certainly recommend to friends and family and I already have as they were all so pleased with the food presentation and the exotic Thai taste was so refreshing and delicious. The service was excellent with very polite and respectful staff who always stopped to explain dishes in great details and make recommendations and well-timed and friendly, always serving with a beautiful smile, cocktails and mocktails were truly mouth-watering with an extra zing of ginger. The soups and gyoza were sumptuous and palatable, and looked such a splendid and luxurious treat. I cannot recommend enough as this venue can accommodate big groups and cater for all needs, as they have many popular and tasty vegetarian and vegan options and a lush bar.
Ask for recommendations the team will always suggest what is right for you!
Outstanding food, great atmosphere and service at an affordable price
The lights were really bright and the music didn’t make any sense, but tHe staff were sooo nice and the food was excellent. The tapas were especially amazing. The waiter let us mix and match from different menus so that we could try the special dessert. It was awesome. We will be be back.
Had the Valentine's set menu with unlimited wine/prosecco option for an extra £12.5pp. Really good food and great service - the manager took us on a tour of the restaurant and gave us shots on the house!
An interesting menu. Good food. Good service.
Best Thai food we have had outside of Thailand!
A touch more expensive than your average Thai restaurant but absolutely worth it. We will be back.
The venue is lovely-the service was great but £16 for rice and four prawns with a bit of sauce was very disappointing and not good value . I had the vegetable-there were hardly any veg-again basically a curry sauce. I know my son was disappointed and left hungry-so wont be going back
Very good food, friendly staff. I would recommand this place to have a good Thai food experience. When we’re in the UK again will definitely return.
Food is always excellent- service can be slow. Putney needed a nice looking restaurant like Yum Sa. Sapphire dumplings are my favorites.
Nice friendly place, attentive staff, great atmosphere.
All good. Very fresh and tasty meal with nice touches of uniqueness and care given to the required taste.
Outstanding Food and amazing service, the staff are so friendly and make the experience very worth while.
The food is well above expectations.
Excellent Thai food in comfortable surroundings and fantastic staff.
Good Thai / Asian fusion. Service was exceptional. The place was really busy and they forgot one of the starters. Joe, our waiter, then offered a free drink to my wife and friend. Wife and friend very happy!
Been meaning to come here since it first opened finally made it on saturday evening . We were not one bit disappointed food was delicious with some stand out dishes. Ambience was lively but not too noisy and service very friendly.Favourite dishes would be hard to choose really but the Pad Thai and the Sea Food Tom Yum Paella were amazing. So happy its in our neighbourhood.
Absolutely worth driving too (considering we live in east London), food was amazing and delicious - full of flavour (was not disappointed). Will definitely be coming back soon :)
Great food. Inexperienced waitresses
I booked as I saw the really positive reviews. There was a bit of confusion on where they should seat me and ended up seating myself and my friend (who arrived a bit later) at different tables, although we were on the same booking.
The waiter was enthusiastic and a bit pushy, trying all of the time to upsell us on dishes and extras. He did a good job of proposing combinations of meats and curry sauces though and was trying very hard.
The food - I ordered the Yellow Curry with Chicken and Jasmine rice which was not good at all - the turmeric completely overpowered the sauce. Additionally there was hardly any chicken in the sauce, which mainly consisted of potatoes and bamboo shoots. My friend had the Panang curry which she said was very tasty, although it also had very little chicken.
This seemed like a nice restaurant and based on reviews, I think I ordered badly, but overall the prices are very high for what you get. I am really disappointed as the concept had potential.
We took my teenage children there for their birthdays. The waiter and proprietor couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive. The food was excellent. The dim sum style starters were terrific, as were the main courses (although the paella inspired rice dish didn’t quite work). The organisation of the menu could be more user-friendly but overall, very highly recommended.
Great food. Excellent service. Fabulous cocktails.
Great food. Excellent knowledgeable waiter. Great cocktails. Good for vegetarians too!
Lovely food but we were at the back of the restaurant and ignored by the staff. To get a drink or ask for the bill was hard.
Me and my fiance enjoyed every moment of the dining experience. Food was tasty and did not wait long for food. Definitely recommend ( it's a bit expensive)
Nice addition to Putney, which needed another good Thai restaraunt. Some really interesting and rather tasty dishes and fabulous decor give it the wow factor, staff very smiley and courteous. Didn't give 5 stars due to the young waitress who served us who forgot our wine order twice and then after our food had been cleared away just brushed the dropped food bits off the table right onto the floor ! where we would have to walk through it, never seen that before! Price was high for some of the dishes, but it was good quality. There was another table of 10-12 people being really loud and did spoil our evening due them screaming and shouting at some points during our meal. Staff could have done more to subdue this.
Had the bottomless brunch on Sunday. Loved the restaurant the staff were very friendly and attentive, and they were happy to keep bringing the food out! The decor was really nice and the room was spacious.
I’d highly recommend for a relaxing brunch!
the food was delicious and the service was excellent, the restaurant itself is huge but very quiet and good for romantic dinner or for a large party celebrating a special occasion
Yum Sa was great little find and perfect for the occasion - service was great. Our waiter couldn't have been more helpful. I think its a little over priced but would happily return knowing what to expect.
What an unexpected culinary surprise and great hospitality! Central London quality and countryside friendliness in East Putney just next to the Tube exit. The food was delicious. Especially the starters and the curry are worth a try. The chef is right from Dubai and has brought some very interesting fusion of India and Thailand to London. Impressed with the service, the warm welcome and the great atmosphere. Refreshingly quiet compared to the bars around, so good for a nice dinner together. Try the Watermelon Sangria! Eye Opening!
This location also has a meditation room, some separate facilities for a larger group and offers BBQ and brunch in the weekends (waiting for the emails on that here). Thanks for the evening, Michael and Jacqui.
This place is the epitome of style over substance. While the service is fair and the ambience hints of class, the food is way way over priced for the quality.
2nd time at at Yum Sa and once again had a fantastic experience.
Food is amazing, so well presented and accomodating to any taste. It's Thai god but with a twist so not too spicy and beautifully cooked. Accomodating any taste if required.
Staff is lovely, service impeccable.
Highly recommend this restaurant, a must go in Putney to spend quality time with quality food.
Lovely brunch - great choice of food, you can have as much as you like, very good quality. The only thing I would say was service was a little slow but they had several tables to serve
Beautiful decor, delicious food, unique cocktails and excellent service.
Third visit to Yum Sa, and as fantastic as the first two trips. Possibly favourite place in Putney now and amongst favourite Thai restaurants generally. The menu is quite small, and definitely not your standard Thai fare. Every dish has been delicious and some downright special. The open kitchen is fun to watch, and the service has always been efficient and particularly friendly. Possibly not that inviting from the outside (base of a modern tower block opposite East Putney Station) but well worth a visit. It's clear that a lot of design, effort, thought and money has gone into making this place come to life!
