Brilliant food and great ambience. Service top rate.
The service was great, staff were all amazing. The food was very lovely too.
Everything on the menu is great so choose something you would not normally have … you will not be disappointed.
Thoroughly enjoyed. Fantastic service and fantastic food
Will definitely go again
Service was very professional and the food was amazing. The little crab cake starters were my favourite. Thank you.
Best restaurant in London for Indian cuisine. The food and the staff were amazing. The staff really look after you. Will be back again.
Excellent food and service .. went to have the food taster which was amazing !
Definitely will come back to this beautiful restaurant..
Thank you ..
Delicious modern Indian food and cocktails attentive but not in your face service, the Afghani chicken tikka was particularly good!
Great ambience very stylish. Excellent tasting Indian food, hats off to the chef. Service was exemplary by Ligorio. Very friendly staff. Great place to dine overall. Definitely worth a visit.
Fantastic food, fantastic service and beautiful ambience. The staff were all so attentive and the food was just so tasty that we will be going back for more delicious food.
Great food and service. The ambiance was lovely too. Loved it!
The most delicious vegetarian food we have had in London. Not overly spiced yet very flavourful. Exceptional service and ambience! We will be returning again soon!
Horrible service. The hosts were very snobby, I felt incredibly uncomfortable. Change the hosts at the front desk if you want your guests to be comfortable. Food was decent, but nothing special.
Well what a way to come out of lockdown. The cocktaills, the service, the food, all 5 star. The Afghan chicken is the most amazing dish, the lamb too is fantastic. I honestly thought I would sample the desert and leave it. No way, too good not to eat. All amazing and worth eveey penny. The best treat and evening.
Excellent service from the restaurant and bar staff combined with fantastic food made the night memorable. Will be returning soon.
Beautiful interior, lovely atmosphere. The food was nice, but not outstanding. A bit of a delay in the kitchen for our food to arrive. The staff was lovely.
We had crab cakes as staters; tasty with a decent bite. One of us had a selection of grills inc. big Madagascar prawns, the other a royal korma curry, full of flavour and not too creamy with a moderate spicy bite. A very good evening.
Cannot recommend this place enough. Has never dropped its high standards over the years I’ve visited.
Fantastic service and the food was amazing.
Beautifully executed modern Indian food, more a three course affair than family style sharing. The lamb chops were huge and the three option was more than enough as a main. The gush delicate and properly cooked, the biryani amazing. It is expensive though, and a little less zealous attention from the waiters would have been appreciated, no need to up-sell when we were ordering so much!
Friendly accommodating staff
Amazing flavours as usual . Long live Zaika
Overall it was a pleasant experience. The food was enjoyable, service was prompt. Quite a lot of noise from other guests which can make it hard to fully relax and enjoy the company of another. Some drama from the guests behind us with another table which was quite rude and I don’t feel the management dealt with it very well.
Lovely food, great service. Would definitely eat there again, perhaps without our two young grandkids
Authentic indian food, must try restaurant.
Great ambiance, service is excellent, would love to visit again.
As regulars at zaika before the menu overhaul and refit, we were worried the place may have lost its appeal for us. Luckily this was not the case as Zaika remains as wonderful, ambient and delicious as ever. Cocktails are better than before and the staff are still incredible
Dinner was good. If I had not been to Amaya the previous evening, I might say the food was very good. Having been to Amaya, however, the difference in quality was significant. The dishes were reasonably spiced but without the delicacy, subtlety and sophistication that accompanied the dishes at Amaya. The price was virtually identical to that paid at Amaya but the quality of the cuisine just did not match it Also the ambiance was a little dull. I expected more and better for the price. Also, Zaika had no alcohol-free beer on offer, something that I had mentioned about 2 years ago when I last went but which obviously it has declined to do anything about. Finally, Amaya had excellent sealed antibacterial wipes at the tables while Zaika relied on a bottle of sanitiser gel at the entrance. Overall good but Amaya far, far better in all respects.
Dear GvKl, Thank you for taking time to share your feedback. Zaika and Amaya are two completely different styles and therefore it is difficult to compare these two venues. Zaika is more focused on curries and biryanis whereas Amaya is more focused on grills. If you are looking for a formal and sophisticated dining experience you should try our sister restaurant Tamarind on Queen Street in Mayfair , as the style and ambience should be more to your taste. We hope to welcome you soon. Team Zaika
The service staff were very slow with taking orders or attending to tables. The food took the longest time to arrive even as we were just 2 of us and had ordered as soon as we sat down.
The food was however good , to the quality you’d expect. Hopefully better service next time
Food is great but portions are very small- compared to their peers. We were sat by the kitchen Sotheby's experience was rather noisy
We used to love Zaika a lot for very tasty food and ambiance . But the last time we had dinner there, the next day ended up with severe upset stomach and pain. Both me and my husband. Very sad about it. Still can’t get over it.
The portions became twice smaller like, than they were before.
The perfect Indian restaurant in the heart of Kensington. The service and decor (old listed building) were perfect and the food to match. Highly recommended.
With a lovely setting, and amazingly nice staff, and superb food this is my favourite restaurant ! The menu has been shortened but everything we tried is good.
The Pisco sour was disappointing - have a G&T or Margarita instead !
Superb restaurant - from welcome to bar vibe, craft beer, wine and tasting menu. Not eaten better Indian food, beautifully crafted!
It was our first dinner after the second lockdown. The restaurant has done a great job in following the government's Covid guidelines on face covering and distancing. We had tasting menu and the food was outstanding. Staff was friendly and attentive. Very enjoyable evening.
Really delicious food, the decor and service was lovely. Will definitely be returning.
Incredible food and service!! I will be back again!
Great to be back at Zaika.
fantastic evening even with Covid restrictions
This restaurant had been good and average over the last decade but right now it’s outstanding . Deserves a star
I have been at Zaika over 6 time I believe and it never disappoints. I'll go as far as to say that this is among London's best restaurants.
Great to see that the space received a refreshment. The menu is still great although there have been some large-scale changes in the offering.
I'm just wondering whether they could reintroduce cheese naan as it has very unfortunately disappeared from the menu.
Will be back very soon!
