Top takeaway as ever, shame closed for rest of January.

We love Zaks, and dine hear regularly.
Just feel the takeaway option isn’t as good value for money.

Even picking up a take away was a delight. Book, they ring you for order and car reg. go pick up. Brilliant. staff were still super friendly when coming out with your order. Food has been awesome recently.

Ordered a drive thru takeaway - so easy for ordering to collection. Staff were friendly and efficient and most importantly food was lush!!
Food was still hot by the time we got home (30mins) and tasted great. Will definitely be back for more when reopened:-) thank you Zaks!!

Using the takeaway service was fantastic.. and the food.... oh my days... outstanding as always!

Excellent as always. Great service when I had to alter my plans at the last minute due to self isolation - rearranged to a time I could get someone to collect for me. Lovely food as expected

Takeout from Zaks was really nice! The food was still really hot when I got home (despite the cold weather!) and was delicious! Would highly recommend

Because of covid it was a takeaway but the standard of the service was high and the quality of food was as good as if not better than dining inside
I hope they keep the take away service going longer as my husband is classed as extremely clinically vulnerable and wouldn't have eaten in even if we could have done

Zak’s it’s a bit pricey for what they serve especially with the takeaway

As always the takeaway burgers were delicious. Zak’s is our go to restaurant and we will be returning soon!

Christmas Eve dinner, COVID rules in place so less ambience, but food and service excellent.

Lovely tasty food and lots of it. Their home made slaw is to die for and a must have side.
We've always had a good meal at zaks poringland and will be returning again at the end of lockdown

Waited to be seated which didnt take long , had drinks and ordered, burger was ok , macaronni cheese come out cold in middle to which i complained and sent back , 5 mins later it returned to which i can only persume it had been microwaved , it was tasteless and clumpy , paata over cooked, they didnt charge us for the meal , to which im thankfull , wouldnt hurry back

Fantastic food, fantastic service and spot on with the COVID-19 requirements. Our favourite Zaks restaurant, they never disappoint.

Love eating here as a family food choice is good except it would be nice to have chicken strips as an adult meal instead of just kids as my teenager wouldn’t eat anything so had to eat a kids meal!
Desserts are brilliant value and huge

Nice atmosphere,good food, service with a smile. Well laid out dining area good value for the money.

We loved going to Zak's pre Covid so this was a nice treat. We went as a couple with no kids for lunch. It wasn't excessivly busy but there were a few in. We booked in advance and were given a table in the corner which was nice and cosy. However we arrived at 1pm and we didn't leave until 2.40 which was mainly due to the wait for food. Not quite sure what the hold up was but hey ho. I addition it was obvious there were people meeting up who were not from the same household (4 girls behind us!) But in these times what small business can afford to turn away paying punters??

The waitresses and waiters wore masks all the time and were clearly making a great effort to be Covid secure. I felt perfectly safe.

Always have a great meal at zaks, first time to this one though and not disappointed. If you want american cuisine then this is the place for it, best burgers I've had outside of the states.

We always enjoy Zak's in Poringland it is close to where we live & staff are always very friendly.

Food is always piping hot & plenty of it, even during these harder times. We felt very safe & comfortable going there.

lovely burgers as always, wedges great too, just needs some salad on plate maybe, as just burger and chips on plate doesn’t seem enough !

I always love Zaks I had a couple of off meals but the lovely manager put that right he was so apologetic, he is always happy to help and nothing seems a problem to him really nice lad .
