Food was great as always. Staff are really nice, would recommend to anyone. Having a Veggie in the family always struggle to find restaurants that have great food but she really liked it as was a huge selection to choose from.

Great takeaway service, very smooth. Burgers excellent. Only small problem, and that’s why only 4 stars is that they weren’t very hot. I live quite near so that wasn’t the problem. Won’t stop us buying again.

So this was our first time using the take away and booking system.
Couldn't fault it, food was hot, well presented and good value for money.

Zaks Takeaway
Made booking on line, received confirmation via email. Phone call received on the day at lunchtime to take order, advised of collection process. Arrived at allocated time, several cars waiting in carpark and more arrived. Collection at 7pm, delivered to car 7.15. Food was packaged well and met the usual high standards. Really enjoyed our meal and won't hesitate to use takeaway service again, pending restaurant re opening. Thank you Zaks Poringland.

As a family we love Zaks and look forward to an occasional treat. We've had a few take aways since Covid began and I feel this last one was by far the best. We've found the takeaways to be smaller portions than when eating in the restaurant but this one was equal. The burgers were cooked to our request and there was plenty of chips. A couple of our takeaways there hasn't been many chips so it was nice to get a good size portion.
Staff are always friendly and professional when taking your order on the day.
Would 100% recommend Zaks and can't wait to be able to go back to dining in the restaurant in Poringland.

Given the circumstance this may have been the most positive experience with Zaks that I've had, the staff are typically very good but I felt on this occasion they were excellent.

Great service and a clever way to stay in business!! As always from Zaks a great burger!!

Take away service was spot on as always. Looking forward to when we can come in the restaurant again properly and get the full Zaks experience.

Excellently Organised,had time slot to pick food up,all on time,food was excellent. Miss going inside for meal,but take away will do for now. Staff always friendly and polite. Would recommend this Restaurant to anybody.

Ordered a drive through takeaway from Zak’s and was so impressed with the service. Ed called me on the day of our slot to take my order, explained the process of what to do in the evening when collecting to ensure the pickup was contact free. Arrived a few mins earlier as requested, one of the team spotted me in the car park and within 10 seconds of mr opening the passenger door, the team had brought our order out and placed it on the passenger seat. Piping hot food and a seamless process. Goes without saying that our food was outstanding! Well done Zak’s :)

We ordered a take away from Zaks as a lockdown treat and it certainly didn't disappoint! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very well-organised, punctual and contactless collection. Large portion sizes and the food was incredible! We've noticed a massive improvement in all aspects of the restaurant since it was taken over by the new managers, so we're very happy to keep supporting them as it's Zaks at its best. Thanks guys and keep up the good work!

We love zaks as a family and have never had a problem (well we did before they were took over. But we had a take away this week when they reopened and it wasn't that great. My biggest problem was they got my order wrong. My daughter is autistic and won't eat burgers, so ordered the kids chicken strips, got back and there was a burger! So she didn't have any as she wouldn't touch the chips either. And I wasn't driving back to get chicken strips :(

Even picking up a take away was a delight. Book, they ring you for order and car reg. go pick up. Brilliant. staff were still super friendly when coming out with your order. Food has been awesome recently.

Ordered a drive thru takeaway - so easy for ordering to collection. Staff were friendly and efficient and most importantly food was lush!!
