   Not sure if it was an off night for the restaurant but overall we felt that ambiance was a bit odd as it’s super bright inside — almost felt cafeteria like. The food was good but there wasn’t any one dish that I’d run back for. Most dishes came out warm rather than hot. Sadly, underwhelming.

   The food and service were both amazing! I loved the ouzo cocktail—it was so good. For food, the babaganoush was super tasty, the chicken kebab was great, and the pastrami and egg pide was delicious, though a little salty. If you’ve never had pastrami before, it might taste a bit too salty, but I knew what to expect, so it was perfect for me. The pita bread was seriously amazing! Overall, such a great spot to enjoy good food and bring friends or guests. Definitely recommend!

   We were so pleasantly surprised with everything about our lunch. I had seen so-so reviews and was a bit apprehensive, however it did not disappoint. The food was exceptional, as was the service. Can’t wait to come back.

   Service was so slow. We were given wrong orders multiple times throughout the dinner. Food ended up being cold when it was dropped at our table.

   A great vibe for LA and really nice flavorful food as well, at fair prices. The dry aged whole fish is excellent and there are plenty of delicious veggie options for anyone who doesn’t eat meat.

   This was my second time at Zaytinya. The first time we waited, despite having a reservation, for 30 minutes for a table. But the food and drinks were excellent, so I booked another reservation for my mom’s birthday. This time we waited an hour for a table, on a Monday, even though we again had a reservation. I noted it was my mom’s birthday to both the front desk and server, and received a well-meant apology, but no offer to comp a portion of the meal or even offer a dessert despite the extraordinarily long wait. Great food, but won’t be coming back.

   Excellent food and outstanding service. The never ending delicious pita bread was different and sooo good. We will be back.
