Good food and service. Interior could be a little more intimate.
Due to availability we booked at 1845 as the next available was 2000. When we left at 2015 there were 4 tables in use!!!!Very average and no atmosphere and quite prices we will not visit again
We celebrated my grown-up daughter's birthday here on Friday (April 2018). The food was fabulous and not hugely overpriced which was a nice surprise for the area.
We were slightly surprised it was quite empty on a Friday night and there seemed to be a brooding melancholy among the staff . We loved the food and it was an excellent meal but the restaurant lacks vibrancy which might just have been on the night we went. This place has had three changes of ownership in the past five years I think (Italian, then French, and now this) , I hope this time it succeeds as on the food alone it should.
Delicious food and great service! Would definitely go again
If you are perpetually disappointed by Asian cuisine on the high street ( like I am) then despair no more ! The depth of flavour and quality of the ingredients at Zheng is truly outstanding ......we enjoyed a truly delicious meal as we have done before at their Zheng Oxford !
Overall very good food and service, let down by rather small main portion sizes. That said, the beef rendang was very good. I'd go again, but it's not made it to the 'must go back' list.
This is definitely one of the best places I have explored in London. Atmosphere is great, service impeccable and food tasty! Quality of served wine is also very high. I will definitely visit again! Highly recommended!
Made the trip for our daughter’s 18th birthday and it was well worth the journey. The setting was lovely and the food was just delicious. The recommendations were a real surprise and we wouldn’t have tried them otherwise, but they really added to the evening. The salt and pepper aubergine was a revelation. Will definitely return & can highly recommend.
Late evening dining in a friendly atmosphere. Good standard kitchen
Amazing food and reasonably priced. Will be back soon
Quiet restaurant with slightly boring food
Great food and service
Delicious food and excellent service . Quiet and spacious ambience
Fantastic Malaysian restaurant. Great food, good service and lovely atmosphere.
Very long gap between courses. Food very ordinary but cost high. Very bad disabled access.
Lovely food with lots of choice in a very stylish hidden restaurant in Chelsea at a reasonable price.
The food was amazing. Very probably the best Chinese meal we've ever had! It was a touch pricy but really worth it. The service was great and the menu was great with lots of choice. My wife and I would recommend the starter platter.
Delicious authentic Malaysian food. Lovely ambience. Friendly staff.
Food, ambience and service was 10/10.
I would most definitely recommend this as a place to visit.
Fabulous food, wonderful service and great atmosphere. We will be back.
Difficult to find high quality Malaysian food outside Malaysia and Singapore. This place is a great find. Very authentic and fresh. The fried chicken was amazing as was the beef rendang. Cereal prawns were crunchy and delicious. Only downside was no Laksa on the menu. Hope to find it next time :)
My friends and I had a great time at Zheng Chelsea. The food and it's flavors were AMAZING! Truly Asia!
Martin gave us a very warm, friendly and professional service.
We will definitely be back!
Great food and service. Restaurant a little quiet on a Tuesday eve, but this was fine as we had a friends get together.
Very disappointed with this restaurant. It has great reviews on trip advisor which we did not experience. Average food and poor service. Won’t be back. Sorry
Very nice Staff, very helpful as we had a child with us ,good ambience , Not too crowded even when full and interesting well prepared food. Altogether a good experience and right in the heart of Chelsea
We recently discovered Zheng restaurant and what a find. My husband booked this place for my birthday and I have to say the food, service and ambience was just perfect. The food is simply outstanding and we couldn't fault it in any way! My husband and children enjoyed every moment as did I! They accommodated our two year old son very well.
We are probably fussy eaters so were very impressed with the food and portions. Starters are huge and mains just right otherwise you'd never finish it! The desserts especially the toffee apple/toffee banana with ice cream is delicious!
This place is a magic gem and highly recommended! A lovely birthday lunch with my family..we will be back soon!
Superb Malaysian dining experience in London
Great food, nice & roomy ambience (wonderful in this location)
The food was delicious, everyone really enjoyed it. Zheng is a lovely restaurant, with friendly and attentive staff. The only disappointment we had was with the cocktails - we had Long Island ice teas and they were not great. Other than that I'd highly recommend!
A very good meal in a surprisingly warm atmosphere. Very good service, a great find. The menu could be more adventurous, there are so few Malaysian cuisine restaurants in London and Zheng's menu sticks too closely to Chinese and Indian classics.
If you like Malaysian food, you will love Zheng. Satay was the best we have tried since we left Singapore. Roti Chanai made well, with fresh curry leaves. Great flavour. Kang Kung was delicious!!!
The food was great and the ambience was wonderful for a work get-together.
A very good Malaysian restaurant. Been here many times
Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff and attentive service.
The surprise menue was outstanding. We felt very welcome and had a great time.
Zheng was a lovely overall experience, staff were welcoming, warm and very accommodating. The food was delicious and both food and wine were reasonably priced. Would undoubtedly recommend to others
This restaurant is a most welcome addition to the "Far Eastern good" scene. It is consistently delirious - we of course over ordered - and everything attentively and politely served. The wine list also while small has some interesting wines - reasonably priced and delicious. We will come again soon.
I treated my girlfriend after work and it was out of the way for us but i thought it would be worth the trip. Very nice deco and atmosphere, menu was a little on the pricey side but not too bad considering it's in Chelsea but the food honestly for me was a tad disappointing. the prawn fritters were amazing! but I am a keen cook and made better rendang beef at home, my girlfriend's meal was nice but nothing we can't get much closer to home in South London for much cheaper. The staff are lovely but for me a little overbearing at times, they refill your water the second you finish every glass and shuffle your plates around and closer during your meal. But hey, maybe the upper class are into that.
Apparently buzzing at night, Zheng was very empty for Sunday lunch. It is expensive but the food tastes frshly cooked and mostly delicious.
Travelled from Yorkshire to hav a tue Malaysian Meal with a friend who was born and brought up there. Excellent service from walking in the door to leaving, Excellent food and wine. I highly recommend Zheng as there is a choice of Non spicy to very spicy and interesting dishes. Will certainly visit again.
