Let us set the scene: The year is 1973. David Bowie retires his dramatic alter ego Ziggy Stardust with a final gig at the Hammersmith Odeon. What follows is a legendary party at Café Royal, a favourite of Bowie’s where he often frequented the restaurants and cocktail bars. Close friends including Mick Jagger, Lou Reed, Paul McCartney, Lulu and many others celebrate at the bash dubbed ‘The Last Supper’.

Evocative of the spirit and splendour of this night, Ziggy’s pays homage to the late great Bowie, 45 years on. The cocktail list is an eclectic mix of classic cocktails reinvented and Bowie’s favoured tipples, all served with lots of glam and a sprinkling of rock n roll. Just like the man himself, the cocktail creations are unique and full of character, from the smooth ‘Tiger on Vaseline’ to the lively ‘Darkness and Disgrace’.

I have wanted to come here for some time and my birthday was the perfect reason! The bar is amazing, love the vibe and the Bowie music covering every era. The staff are amazing and attentive without being intrusive. The cocktails are amazing - if you want cheap cocktails by the bucket - this isn't the place, but if you want a sophisticated experience and taste some amazing cocktails, I totally recommend Ziggy's Bar. We didn't order any food, but there were table snacks of olives and nuts which were delicious. I am so glad I spent my birthday here and definitely want to come back on another occasion - there are more cocktails I need to try! Thank you to everyone who made my evening there so special.

Delicious cocktails and a nice atmosphere. The music was at just the right volume to enjoy while still being able to have a conversation. I felt the lighting could've been brighter for early evening but overall this was a nice place to have a drink or two.

What a sham. Ziggy’s bar? A few photos on the wall do not make a David Bowie themed anything. The drinks were overpriced and the food was bland £4.50 for tonic to go with an already expensive gin is just theft.

We were made very welcome on our arrival at Ziggy's bar. The staff were attentive and sincere. The bar lounge was well balanced without tables being too close to each other. Top quality cocktails at a good price. We would definitely recommend and we are looking forward to our next evening at Ziggy's.
