Love this place. The food was and is amazing. I have now foisted 4 times in so many months. I love it, the female server was amazing. She was so lovely. And kept apologising for delays, but it was all fine and no stress. Loved this visit and our first time upstairs.
Only really annoying thing was arriving at 455pm we were asked to wait outside as service ‘starts at 5’ really very strange as we were moved back outside onto the pavement despite being 4/5 mins early. We were then told service won’t start until 5. Yep, understood.
So front of house need some work, but the servers and the food is top notch.
Paulina was warm and welcoming. Alaways with a smile on her face. I ordered pancakes(Syrniki & Blinis) with Nastoyka and Russian cranbery tea. Pancakes were so delicious. i liked theire tea and Nastoyka. It was a great experience.
Excellent Russian and Ukrainian food and comfortable, relaxing atmosphere.
A bit pricey. I would say average dinner bill starts from 50 quid per person. But, taking into account excellent food and location, all is adequate.
Massive step up from last time, service, food ambiance was stunning, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great food, service and atmosphere. Must try nastoyka!
Well what can I say, absolutely amazing. My wife is Russian so if anyone was going to be critical it would be her (and she is an amazing cook herself). Every dish we ordered was executed to perfection. Borch was rich in flavour and presented with some lovely sides as well as the all important sour cream. The cutlets were made fresh to order and I chose the mash which was very creamy, tasty and smooth. The pelmeni was also perfectly made. The smile on my wifes face just said it all. This is certainly going to become a regular for us. Oh by the way cocktails phenomenal too.
Good was delicious and hostess was really extremely nice. She seated us inside next to the open window which was much needed because the day was so hot.
Authentic Russian cuisine in a wonderful spot. Delicious and beautifully presented. The best sign is it’s full of Russians!
Great place to try Russian food. Good range of Nastoykas.
Outdoor seating available also .
Congratulations to the chef for his/her excellent borscht. It was served with the correct kind of black bread, the essential sour cream and some salo, (pig fat) which was an interesting novelty for me. The piroshki were OK but would have benefited from a lighter dough and an increased amount of filling. The blini were not too bad but I found the filling a bit paste like. The khadgipuri, however, was a major disappointment. It was a travesty of the true khadgipuri. I know because we have a close friend who is Georgian and an excellent cook. We were also fortunate enough to visit Georgia and eat this national dish in several restaurants. This restaurant's version was even worse than a basic pizza. Your dish had a thin strip of cheese and tomato down the middle which was wholly inadequate. The welcome you gave us was warm and friendly and we had excellent service. However, the food needs to be improved.
Very good food and drinks. Nice staff, distanced tables et opened windows.
Amazing as always, great food and service! I’m a big fan and a loyal customer !
Food was amazing and the server was very friendly and kind!
Zima Russian Restaurant was a good experience. They propose a good food. The beef borsh was fabulous. The decoration is very pretty. The only negative point was the price a little bit too expensive for the value.. But I recommend totally.
Fantastic food and service, loved everything we ate and staff were very friendly
Tasty food, good service, rare opportunity to speak in Russian
Delicious Russian food with a fantastic ambience in the heart of SoHo. Lovely experience, will definitely return. The lamb pielmeni were the star of the evening!
Booked for my daughter and myself on Tuesday 29th June, whilst visiting London for a few days. We each had 3 fantastic courses that we loved. The staff were attentive and friendly whilst allowing you to enjoy your dining. The waitress assisted in recommending drinks, which were also spot on. Overall I cant recommend this restaurant enough, cannot wait to return to London and return. Thanks to all the staff for a memorable vist.
Great Location. Very nice service. But our waitress did not speak very good English and could not explained the dishes to us.
Great atmosphere, nice staff and delicious food as usual :)
Great Russian cuisine with an authentic ambiance in the restaurant
There is a mysterious compulsory charge on a random charity that I was never informed until I see the bill and asked. It is not a lot but not a way that I want to donate money to a charity without any choice. More communication is definitely need here.
I believe that the executive chef actually serve us as a waiter with a executive chef attitude, and he serve just like he is in the kitchen to his staff. I do not understand much about restaurant management but I do believe a chef should work in the kitchen and never come out unless the customer have a problem with the food. Chefs and waiters are two different occupations and I have a feeling that for whatever reason it is they swap their role on the day we visit, so you can imagine how was the experience.
To be fair, I went to this restaurant a year ago and everything was perfect. I just do not know what happened in this occasion.
We loved the place! Really nice Russian food, very close to grandma quality, and super nice staff.
We had one of the best dinners we had in years at Zimma! Loved the food and service - We will be back
Very pleasant experience, very good quality food! W
Amazing food and service
Tasty food and nice atmosphere! I will come again :)
Average starters, great mains, amazing drinks (vodka tray is a superb)! Definitely a place to visit!
Authentic, fabulous Russian cuisine served by a charming friendly staff in a delightful setting.
I would like to send a THANK YOU message to your team in LAZY ZIMA SHISHA LOUNGE.
I booked a table for two on 17th June 2021 at 19:30 and celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday in Lazy Zima. The service was really nice and even it was a busy time I would like to say extra THANK YOU to your waitress Anton who handled the busy time very well and made sure we are happy with everything. Anton was very professional, very friendly and so helpful! His service was just perfect.
Thank you Anton and the rest of the team! A friendly and smiley face of your other colleague at the entrance was very welcoming too! Our experience in your restaurant was amazing.
The food was delicious. However, having checked the bill when I went home I was overcharged by about £50, as they have doubled up on items I had only ordered one off.
Russian food was amazingly good. Waiter spoke russian with us which was great. Only downside was the streets of Soho are VERY noisey.
The best russian restaurant in london!! Amazing food ! Amazing service! Highly recommend!!! 🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Polina was very kind and helpful
Outstanding food – easily one of my top 5 restaurants in London. The service and ambience were immaculate. We will definitely come back!
The food was not what i expected for the price i paid. Menu options not so great. Waitress lady was nice and funny and hostess was sweet general stuff nice. But food was cold and wasnt all that 😕 menu adcertised had more options and looked better than what was presented to us.
Amazing! My friends and I stepped outside the box of our usual cuisine and were blown away by the delicious food at Zima. Highly recommend.
The food is lovely and the staff really looked after us. I’d recommend it!
Delicious Russian food served by very friendly staff. The indoor dining is well organised & safe for current Covid measures.
The food was delicious & very authentic (seal of approval from one of the diners who is Russian). Definitely would recommend for a great night out.
The food is amazing and the service as well. Staff is super friendly. I will come back!
Nice food and atmosphere. The vodka cocktails are excellent although a bit pricey
