Great place and great food!
All we tried was very nice and all the staff were kind and smiley.
I would definitely recommend it!
Thank you very much for service.
It was a nice atmosphere.
Great food, nice staff, good ambience, we over ordered but better to have too much than too little.
Great food, great service and great nastoyka! We had a wonderful evening.
One more vegetarian main course would be good, to have a bit more choice.
Everything is delicious as always. Got a free cake slice for my birthday - really pleasant surprise.
The best Russian in town…..
The for was amazing, but the service was too slow and items ordered were not delivered, Shane it would have been perfect otherwise
The food was delicious and the service very nice. I would definitely go again and it was a nice change to the standard restaurants.
came to celebrate Birthday had some nostalgia for Russian food. Very nice atmosphere, very pleasant and polite waiters, decor. Its in a very noisy part of SOHO but once you enter you seem to be protected from it. Great "pelmeni" and Chai s Oblepihoi", excellent zakuski! but I would stay away from khachapuri as it is not what you are likely looking for if you had a Georgian one- our kids' were very particular about it. Yet overall a super nice evening
Service was superb (Paulina). Friendly and attentive staff, the cocktails and food were delicious. Ambience fun and friendly, with contemporary Russian music. Good quality throughout.
I was looking forward to try the stuffed cabbage on the menu when I booked with open table. When we arrived we were told that they no longer served the stuffed cabbage dish and the menu were changed 2 years ago.
I am gluten intolerant and there are not many dishes I can have on their menu.
Very annoyed and disappointed. Will not go back again
ZIMA is authentic Russian food. Definitely recommend! Don’t take it from me, take it from all the other Russian reviewers :)
Very tasty food and drinks for a great value......
My friends first experience of Russian food and was not disappointed!
Eaten here a few times, staff are some of the nicest in any London restaurant. Food is lovely and a nice change from the usual.
We had a lovely evening - great Russian food, Georgian wine and Nastoyka Vodka selection. Woo-woo!
Amazing service, beauy birthday surprise. Always come back!
Great food, an authentic experience - would definitely recommend!
Favorite Russian restaurant in London. Cheaper than some other Russian restaurants. You can even buy frozen pelmeni to boil at home (much much better than what you can find in shops).
My favourite restaurant in London. Always a pleasure coming here 😻
Great spot! Loved the borscht, the pelmenyi and the khachapuri. Service was excellent.
Amazing experience as always, fab authentic food, great drinks and great service. Thanks to the staff and Arthur our waiter!
Lovely place: delicious food, good service, excellent location. We had dinner before theatre, and it was very efficient and enjoyable.
Friendly staff, quick service and tasty food, what more can you ask for! Great table by a breezy open window on a warm evening made it perfect. Thank you!
We had great time! Loved the vodka shots!!!
Great service from the petite brunette waitress. Great value caviar and food was great overall. Honey Cake and Olivier Salad highlights.
Great staff, made us feel so welcome and cared for :)
Some food items were average and some were really nice but overall it was a great experience!
Great. Nothing very special but nice. Cocktails are very good.
Really lovely place, attentive service , very efficient . The glass was never empty once. Food was exquisite ( I had vegetarian vareniki) . Medovy cake was yum too. I was in love with their raspberry tea - intense, delicious, and very unusual. They made it very special indeed .
Excellent service and food. Lovely experience all in all!
After years of pining for Russian food that I missed from my year abroad in Moscow, I finally found the place that could bring back every memory I’d longed for. From the moment I walked in and heard the music it felt like stepping back to Moscow again. I was hoping to introduce my flatmate to some of the best dishes Russian cuisine had to offer and ZIMA did not disappoint at all.
Our waitress, I wish I’d got her name because what a shining star she was. To be complimented on my Russian language skills (having not been able to speak it in so long) and be told I didn’t have an accent has not just made my day, it’s made my whole week. She was polite, kind, patient (putting up with me googling the right words to say!) and a lovely lady.
The food was absolutely fantastic. My flatmate had the Khachapuri and I had the pelmeni and some sautéed potatoes and it was all absolutely delicious. But the desserts were what made us both rave about this place. He chose the cyrniki (having asked to try them for ages before) and I got myself the Medovik I’d been craving since last having it in 2016. It might sound over dramatic but I teared up at the taste because it reminded me of how great my year abroad was. Both of us loved the experience.
Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough. I say for certain I’ll be back again - and I’ve already told my parents they need to come this time! So a massive thank you to all the staff there!
This was my second visit to Zima and I would definitely come again. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Overall a very positive experience.
Most enjoyable meal in the early evening at Zima: the first time my wife had tasted Russian cuisine. Good value for the centre of London and a warm welcome.
Tasty Russian food, modern design, excellent location in central London
Better than eating out in St Peters burg! Very friendly
Very friendly service and very authentic. In fact, a little too authentic - a bit more like a regular “dacha” meal than a good restaurant in Moscow.
Absolutely delicious food and very authentic, I am from Ukraine and my friend from Poland and we felt like home :). Especially the blinis with chicken are the most amazing once I ever had. The tea's are fantastic too, Thyme and the Strawberry one. Staff super friendly, definitely back there soon.
very tasty Russian food with friendly service, enjoyed it very much
Fantastic food, will come back.
