Great service and atmosphere. Food was delicious.
It was a great environment/atmosphere. Peyton was the bartender and our server and she was really good. Very engaging and polite. A glass of wine, two salads, a appetizer and two entrees over $100 so a bit pricey but good company and service made justifiable to pay.
Great food, service and ambience !
Always good food and service. Good neighborhood spot with easy parking.
Great service by Maurice. Excellent recommendations on food. Love the happy hour food and wine. We’ll be back!
Hard to get waiter's attentioon. Then a very strange situation at dessert: (1) they started cleaning the cappucino machine, the waiter told us, so that no espresso or cappucino was available, and (2) waiter said there was no more "ice cream baklava," but then we saw more appearing at tables around us. Waiter first said there was nothing he could do, but then copped us one serving.
Very strange service!
Our waiter Maurice was awesome!
We went for brunch on Sunday. I don’t recommend it at all. First, the tables are so tight and close together.and it’s very noisy. Next, the brunch buffet is a lie. Really, you sign up for a buffet and it means that the waitress brings you the food family style. Problem is, table is not big enough so they bring food in a rotation and not much of it. The waitress then gets overwhelmed and is so slow at bringing you the foods that you are starving during the whole thing. Thirty bucks a head and you leave hungry. Mimosas come with it but don’t expect a refill from the very slow and overwhelmed waitress. I will say food was good, what little there was. I felt very ripped off. Don’t fall for the buffet, order off menu.
Completely overrated. I haven't been in a long time and now I remember why. $23 for a gyro sandwich is absolutely criminal. It wasn't even that good nor was it a large portion. The appetizers were also incredibly overpriced. You can find just as good or better for half the price. Our server was nice, though.
lamb was over-cooked.
We normally enjoy Zizikis but this time the service was extremely slow. Apps arrived before drinks, food was cold by the time it was delivered and the room was freezing.
Good place to have lunch
Love this place!
Lamb was a bit tough. Baklava ice cream was incredible.
Food and service were wonderful. We enjoyed the Mediterranean octopus, lamb loli-pops, chicken avgolemono soup, pistachio crusted mahi mahi and the pastichio pasta. Their ziziki side salad were large and also very delicious. Ziziki's is one of our favorites!
Lights in the restaurant kept flickering. It was not a big issue. Strange that they didn't mention our anniversary since I put it on the reservation. 28 years. We've been coming here for years and the waiter was new I think. Overall, the experience was good. Really good entree options.
The place is great based on the food, service, ambiance, and location.
Used to be a regular at Ziziki's but it has gone downhill big time since Covid. Won't be returning. Our waiter spoke no English and couldn't understand anything we requested and brought incredibly burnt over cooked potatoes when we asked him to cook them less. As a result, I got a 3rd degree burn in my mouth that has caused me a tremendous amount of pain and a several hundred dollar visit to the doctor. Haven't been able to eat solid food in 5 days thanks to him putting food on the table with NO WARNING about temperature and it looked ice cold. In addition, the calamari was $15 for about 8 total tiny tiny pieces that arrived 30 min after placing the order, 30 seconds before the entrees arrived and the calamari were ice cold. Seems like the kitchen only knows how to serve things too cold or too hot now. Drinks took forever to get also. And the expanded patio space is in the middle of a parking lot with zero scenery. Such a disappointment as we used to go here all the time. The manager Calin refunded the meal, but honestly that doesn't begin to compensate for the pain , hassle, and expenses related to both of us burning all the skin from our mouths.
The staff was friendly as we entered and the restaurant has a nice vibe; as if we were about to enjoy an up-scale authentic Greek meal. But, for me, it was anything but. My two dinner companions seemed fine with the meal overall but they were there more to socialize. I’ll be brief to make my points. We waited a long time to just order and an even longer time for our food - and the restaurant was probably only half full. And the food itself is plain bad. The Saganaki was terrible. They made a big show for the other diners about lighting the pan on fire. But when the plate was placed on our table, what should have been a still firm square of pan-fried cheese was a soaking, sopping wet mess of liquified cheese and some hunks of what seemed like breading. It was like when you order a fried mozzarella stick and the cheese has vaporized…it was like that, but in a soupy slop. The domades were also underwhelming; mushy and lacking flavor. And I had ordered Moussaka. Oh man; it was the worst I’d every eaten. I mean it guys. The eggplant was flavorless and had an inconsistent texture from normal to tough & chewy, there were hunks of tasteless potatoes, bland lamb, a flavorless béchamel and the center and bottom of the Moussaka was cold. That’s right - cold. I appreciate that Moussaka and Pastichio have to be prepared ahead of time but for heavens sake, put it in the oven! My glass of wine was the best thing I had. I’m really sorry to leave such a bad review but you deserve it. I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad review on open table, but in Ziziki’s case, I’m never coming back.
The artichoke dip was great. We will definitely return to this restaurant and look forward to dining on the outdoor patio.
Food was delicious as usual. Does not disappoint. Service was great as well.
Good food and friendly service.
Food was okay but not as good as normal. Possibly due to a Friday night crowd
My experiences at Ziziki have always been 5 stars in every area. The staff is friendly ,helpful and polite. It is one of my favorite restaurants to go to.
We ate on Patio about 8pm and it was so delightful! I enjoyed mahi mahi and and hubby also liked his Paella.
We were there to have a nice quiet lunch and to catch up. The food was very good and it was busy but not loud. The grilled shrimp salad and the dip trio were very good.
Maurice helped to guide us through the menu - especially the cocktails and appetizers. He was spot on, and we had a really great night. The food is awesome!
Server and food were exceptional. Thank you for providing a safe environment for your patrons
It was fair
Delicious as always!
We made reservations for our group of three, and after getting there, decided to eat in the bar. Leo was our bartender, and did a great job of taking care of us! Goat cheese appetizer, chicken, shrimp, and lamb dishes were quite good. And you need to try the baklava ice cream cake. The manager dropped by twice to see how we were doing, too- Good experience, we'll be back!
Loved the Greek lasagna and the lamb pops! Our favorite restaurant to celebrate life's joys! Lovely atmosphere and a great menu.
Loved it loved it loved it
Love the food & the atmosphere but the server wasn’t very knowledgeable on the menu!
Celebrating Birthdays and Friends
Great dinner! Excellent waitress, great wine list, good food.
sat in the booth seat against the furthers window. …. SHOCKED. that the end of the wall bench adjacent to mine had an unfinished end panel.
Such an elegant space to see what is still on the “todo” list
Enjoyed a great dinner with a nice bottle of wine outside on their patio. Very personable server that took care of our needs. Will return in the near future.
Beautifully flavorful and fresh Mediterranean food. Try the dips and Greek Platter for a lovely sampling.
