Situated on Bene't Street, right by the Corn Exchange and Cambridge Arts Theatre, the location is as exciting as our food. So pop in after a walk through the historic King's parade or before catching a show at the theatre and enjoy design elements inspired by the huge cycling community and Mortlock Bank, not to mention a really interesting interpretation of our signature trees.
Our Italian restaurant serves tasty, authentic dishes from pizza, pasta and risotto to salads and indulgent desserts – all in a uniquely designed restaurant. Our Italian menu also includes Vegan and Vegetarian options.

We reserved our table for 6pm as we had tickets for a concert next door at 7:30. We arrived 10 minutes early. They seated us but we waited 15 minutes for them to even take our drinks order. Service was exceptionally slow. We waited 40 minutes for our starter.
We kept asking about our main courses because we knew we had to get to the show, and they kept telling us the meals were coming.
By 7:10pm, an hour & 20 minutes after our arrival we still didn’t have our mains. They arrived and we had to eat them super quickly. We asked for our bill when they set our meals down as we knew we had to leave quickly, but we still had to ask for it twice. We would’ve had dessert but didn’t have time.
The food was good but the whole experience was let down by terrible service.

Our open table booking booked online was not on the staff's list. We showed them the email I received confirming our booking. We were initially seated in the bar area on high chairs/bar chairs. The staff were helpful and moved us to a table and normal sized chairs, as we were visiting for my mother-in-law's birthday meal out. The children's garlic bread had burnt charred pieces on the bottom. My husband's and daughter's pizzas took 50 minutes to come and the 3 risottos arrived 15 minutes later! The risotto/pizzas were very tasty once they arrived. The staff apologised for the booking mix up and late arrival of the food and we were offered complimentary desserts and coffee, thank you. The toilets could have been cleaner. There was moisturiser in the soap and loo paper on the floor and a 2nd toilet was blocked.

Sea bass was overlooked and shrivelled
Pasta and pizza dishes are good but steer clear of any different

Great food, rather slow service. Also, we booked a table on opentable, were running late so called the Resturant. They Resturant said it was okay. When we got to the venue they didn’t have our booking on record. However, there was plenty of space available so we got a table straight away. The waiter mentioned there was another one at a different location in town, but I double checked and have made the booking at the location I attended.

They didn’t have my booking but found us a table although it was on the high chairs. The service was ok, drinks took 15 minutes to arrive. The food was ok, nothing special. I think the price point was a bit high for the caliber of the food. Probably wise to scout for vouchers with money off in future.

Although we booked via open table beforehand, we arrived at the restaurant to be told that there was no table reserved to us. Had I not challenged the gentleman and physically shown him the booking confirmation email, I don't think he would have attempted to find a table for us.

Also, I ordered a pizza and was given the larger and more expensive one, which I had not requested. When it arrived, I said that this was a mistake, but the higher price was still on the bill.

Although they hadn't received my online booking they were able to accommodate a table for 4 and were very understanding of our time schedule due to theatre tickets.
