About this restaurant

Italian restaurant chain Zizzi opened the doors of its very first branch in London's Chiswick in 1999. Now there are over 100 branches, all decorated in an appealing contemporary style. Wood-fired ovens, open kitchens and modern interior design with locally influenced art features make for a vibrant atmosphere. As for the food, they serve up a variety of traditional Italian dishes including all the usual suspects: salads, antipasti, pasta, pizza, calzone, risotto as well as fish and meat mains and desserts. What Zizzi really pride themselves on is sourcing good quality ingredients; salads are dressed with white balsamic vinegar from Modena, for example, and offer Goddess Olives, a variety known for their firm flesh and nutty flavour. The modestly priced wine list is dominated by Italian wines, starting at £13.45 for a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.     Time and time again we go here and the staff are always so good. Had a king prawn pasta dish penne alla vodka which was superb! Always recommend this place for value ( £10 for two courses with O2 moments saved us about £10 on the night!) £42 for three inc wine and beer!!

    Zizzi Bishops Stortford - service was good but very noisy environment and difficult to talk to fellow diners. Risotto was also very salty. Good service from manager to deal with dissatified meal.

    Another great meal and service with a smile. That's why we keeping going back. By mistake we ordered the wrong meal and they just whisked it away and replaced it with no fuss. Great value for money, two main courses, good size glass of Rose and a Peroni for £30. Just what we needed after a long day.

    we enjoyed a lovely meal at zizzis edinburgh quays . the food was excellent and the menu was extensive.the staff were courteous and helpful .

    The rissotto tasted like yesterday's, and the lemon served with risotto was definitely two days old. The waiter changed it for me when I complianted, but it should not appear on customer's table at the first place. The offer 2 courses for a tener is great, but I will never pay full price for the meals.

    A friend and I went to Zizzi, Edinburgh Quays, on Fri night. Although it was rather quiet, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was great. We even got a free replacement for the prosecco I accidently spilled! The food was very good, especially the Pannetone al Forno, which was cooked beautifully, and good value for money. Would go back.

    Been a few times to Zizzi has a good sections of dishes yet to have a bad one. Only down point they have special offer on the sparking wines on Mondays and our waitress did not point this one to us, and only notice this after ordering the wine.

    Edinburgh Quays Edinburgh. We had a lovely meal, although we'd booked there wasn't a table for us downstairs when we arrived so we had to sit on our own upstairs, not quite as nice but we were promised personal service from, I presumed, the manager himself and offered a free glass of wine! The Toptable menu was very good value at £13.95 for three courses, good choice. The manager/waiter was most charming and helpful.
