Went on Valentines night and chose the set Valentines menu which was delicious! Staff very friendly, nice atmosphere and service was good. It was very full but I guess a popular night. The only one groan I would have is I sat under the air conditioning and I was cold. No doubt if I was able to move I would of been fine but it was full so not an option. Would definitely eat here again.

Service wasn’t great had to ask the manager who our waitress/waiter was as after half an hour we hadn’t been acknowledged to even take a drinks order. Food was good though, we would go back but at a less busier time.

This is one of a large chain of restaurants in the centre of Bristol near to the main shopping area. It is always busy so best to book. The food is always reliable and tastes good. Good value for money.

Great lunch at Zizzi's, took the family and had a great time. Staff very helpful. Only problem, booked through TopTable and had confirmation e-mail and had a reminder e-mail from Zizzis the day before, luckily printed it out and took it with me, because when we got to the restaurant they did not have a booking for us!! The Manager was very apologetic and got us a table, but there were 5 of us and it was busy, so I think we were lucky. So, check ahead with actual restaurant after booking!! Didn't spoil the lunch tho' and would go again.

I went to Zizzi for a 40th birthday meal with my parents. It has always been consistent and reliable - all of our starters, mains and desserts were lovely, and the service was excellent. There's a good reason why you don't usually get in if you haven't booked, where other restaurants at the Cabot Circus often have plenty of empty tables. Recommended.

Zizzi in Exeter is in a quaint little pedestrian street and is very pleasant. Food is much like any other Zizzi - all in all a good value, pleasant experience. Nice outside area at the back if the weather is warm!

The Muset by Ronnie, Bristol

The service was warm and friendly and the food excellent although would have liked slightly bigger portions for the cost.No background music was played but there was a nice ambience to the restaurant.
Would certainly recommend to others

Yes, it's a chain, but it's a very good one. We came with a young baby in tow and they were extremely accommodating. Despite being in the middle of the Christmas rush, service was prompt and friendly, and all of the food was excellent. Although pizzas are their stock in trade, none of us were as hungry as we might have been, and we plumped for the salads instead. They were every bit as good as their pizzas normally are. Thumbs up.

Went to Zizzi in Cabot Circus, Bristol for a work Christmas do. We had a good time - the ambience & food were good. A few niggles though - there was no festive menu available (although it was advertised and it was 15th December) and several options on the normal menu were unavailable when ordered so we had to make alternative choices.

The Muset by Ronnie gives a complete dining experience. The food is very well presented with attention to detail. The service is well balanced-not too overpowering but always attentive. I must say it was a pleasure to come out wit a bill for two under £50 including wine at this time of the year. Special deal was good value.
I have dined well at Ronnies in Thornbury previously and was certainly not disappointed at his Clifton restaurant.

I celebrated my birthday with 5 friends at The Muset by Ronnie in Bristol. We were lucky to get the chefs table which also allowed us to see what was going on in the kitchen via 4 TV screens. The food and presentation was fantastic, the service was excellent and we also had the undivided attention of Ronnie himself who explained each course to us as it was presented. A fabulous evening was had by everyone and we will definitely be returning again soon.

The Muset, Bristol. The food here is good, and the people were pleasant. But the tables are too close together. The bar area was too cold. They tried to adjust the heating, but we started the evening feeling shivery. The piped music marred our enjoyment of the meal. Personally I would prefer to have no music at all, but if music is to be played perhaps it could be decent jazz. How about pepper and salt mills, not simply metal containers for these condiments?

The Muset by Ronnie at Clifton was fabulous. It was fully booked and turning away on spec customers. The food was great - we tried most of the menu - and the service and ambience was perfect. I had the quail egg starter (I am sure there was only one egg), monkfish special with lots of spinach and a chestnut pudding which was very well presented (bit arty farty) but lovely. Our bill for four people was nearly £300 but then we did have a few bottles on vino. Can't wait to go again...

"The Muset", Bristol
Service: became a little over-attentive and at times even rather loud!
Food: the tasting menu was interesting and fairly well balanced, showing a very high standard of cooking throughout. But all of the dishes were too detailed and fussy for our liking - too many ingredients and not enough substance. And we did not think the capers worked with the chicken dish - especially as we had just had them with the preceding fish dish!

The Muset by Ronnie in Clifton (Bristol) was by far the best new restaurant we've tried this year. The five course tasting menu was thoughtfully constructed and executed precisely. Each course was distinct - in presentation, flavour and texture - and came together to form a well-balanced, satisfying meal. Service struck the right balance between professional and friendly. Good suggestions for wine to pair with the dishes. Better than some 2 star meals I've eaten. Superb value. Would recommend.

The food and its presentation reflected high quality fine dining, but unfortunately the ambience and service (well-intentioned, but overwhelmed perhaps) did not match, so the overall experience was disappointing.

Took 6 wk old baby (slept). Were v accommodating & on the whole a good rest, good food, our waitress amazing but sadly some probs: 10 mins to order drinks (not busy), wife's veg food served with pancetta (!), wrong wine (didn't realise until drunk most so didn't say), trainee staff got things wrong. Food tasty but fussy, too many flavours/purees etc. Toptable disc not real as £30 anyway? Front of house chap, hmm: loud/not cust focus, surely not Ronnie? Too many probs at this level, real shame

Everything was great except the usual problems that over 50's experience every time. The aircon was too cold and the acoustics were impossible, which rather spoiled what otherwise would have been a great evening.

Wow, what a find! My girlfriend & I eat out a lot & for us to go to a restaurant & not find fault with anything is quite rare these days however at The Muset by Ronnie in Clifton there was simply nothing to moan about! We were made to feel welcome instantly & the service continued to be attentive & knowledgeable throughout. The food was fantastic & we devoured every bit of the 5 course tasting menu which was also great value. Goes to show that great food & service is possible! Thank you.

We visited The Muset by Ronnie in Bristol on 14th July 2011. We ate from the fixed price menu which was very good value (£12.75 for 2 courses or £15.75 for 3). I had the duck starter and pork belly main which were equally delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant decor is tasteful and chic and provides a pleasant ambience in which to enjoy your meal. The staff are also very friendly and professional and the level of service is just right. Would highly recommend.

We and two other couples visited The Muset by Ronnie in Bristol on a Saturday night and enjoyed a very classy, delicious meal. The men thought the portions sizes a little on the small size considering the main meal prices are towards the top end of what you would typically pay in Bristol but this was our only negative.

Muset by Ronnie doesn't look exciting from the outside, but is delicious! Excellent flavours and interesting balance between the courses.

Decor was fine, nothing special and the service is a little "heightened" - definitely wanted our waiter to relax and stop making forced one liners!

However, the food was excellent and very good value with the set menu. Would definitely go again.

The Muset by Ronnie, Clifton Bristol.

Sublime! Fine dining without the ego. This chef understands flavours and clearly tastes what he serves. Presentation was excellent, yet visual art never compromised taste in the mouth, which always good. We were really impressed that Ronnie walked the tables and genuinely seemed interested to know how the dishes were received.

Attentive service that never feels suffocating, and stylish modern surroundings with a great atmosphere.
