While the staff were attentive and the atmosphere lovely, the food was pretty bland and lacked flavour
The service to start with was very slow - it took almost 3/4 hr from being seated to just getting our drinks. After that all was very good and our waiter ( big friendly bearded man!) was excellent, taking great care when confirming my allergens, double checking with the kitchen. Food was great, special mention to the chicken waffles and the pastrami cheese fries!
The Ned is a fabulous venue and we will be back to try some of their other restaurants
Great food, gorgeous interior/atmosphere. Service was a little on the slow side, especially as there weren’t that many customers. But overall, great Sunday brunch spot!
Perfect comfort food and a real indulgence. Go on treat yourself !
Great service and Reuben at the Zobbler. Will definitely return.
I always find The Ned and it's various restaurants impress clients not because it is fine dining but because of the unique architecture and ambience and good, well presented, food. Young staff are always charming.
Fed up with the 'discretionary' tip system. Its about time restaurants got into the 21st century and did things honestly. Other than that, i love the place.
Amazing interior, environment, ambiance, everything was just perfect.
Had an excellent meal with my wife after the theatre. Was surprised at how empty it was at 7 p.m. on a Saturday evening - I assume people turn up much later. The whole of The Ned seems to cater for younger people; at the age of 76 I definitely felt that I was the oldest person in the building. But I'll still be coming back for the latkes and cheeseburger!
Attentive service accompanied by really good food in an exciting and ambient setting . I’ve eaten here several times previously for both lunch and dinner and have tried many of the dishes . My personal favourites are the lobster roll , buttermilk chicken burger and if you’re feeling particularly hungry the club sandwich . Good food priced right !
Its a pity I do not have the right to decide on the service charge as this is included in the bill. I would never have classed the service at 12.5%. I had to ask for the bottomless coffee three times before it arrived the second time. There were also other minor issues but the overall experience was still very good.
My husband and I booked a meal here for our first wedding anniversary. It wasn't too busy and we managed to get a table rather than being seated at the counter which was nice. Our mains arrived really quickly and were absolutely delicious. We ordered dessert after the mains but waited around 30 minutes for them to arrive. My husband ordered the brownie but this was not brought out for a further 5-10 minutes ( we think they forgot to make it). They left the accompanying ice cream on the table during this time though which wasn't the best idea as it was melting. I had the cheesecake for dessert and it was incredible!
All in all, the food was very good but, considering it was not very busy at all, I felt the service could have been better. Saying that, it wouldn't put me off returning though.
Really good brunch with fast service. Kept drinks topped up at all times.
A more casual and affordable lunch spot near Bank. Recommend for friends and colleagues, but not for more formal business lunch.
Very prompt service. Tasty food options for a reasonable price. Good ambiance
Good food, good service, great venue. For such a large building each restaurant within the Ned retains a cosy atmosphere. Not overly expensive either. I keep going back
Special treat for my 7 year old daughter before she goes back to school.
Excellent food and service. The best smoked salmon, bagels and chips I've had in England. Certainly worth a stop if you're looking for a casual dining option in a nice setting in London.
Food was good, we were well looked after and good value for money on the bottomless. An excellent time was had by all.
Hotdogs are the best
Great location to grad a sandwich in beautiful surroundings. Food is good, lovely salads and sandwiches.
Great place for lunch in the City. I will come back again with friends.
Such lovely food and atmosphere, what a treat to go to such a lovely venue!
Truly enjoyed the experience. My only disappointment was when sat I specifically requested if could be moved to chairs immediately to the side with backs. Was told others had booked the table, but if there was a cancellation would be informed. For the entirety of the time of our meal the table was empty and never were we given the green light to change, sitting at the stools was not pleasant. The food however was worth every penny and the bottomless mimosas were both delicious and generous. The ambiance was excellent, while lively the noise was expected for the open air type restaurant.
It was all fine but just quite an average breakfast for a place where the prices -£3.75 for a coffee- suggested an AMAZING breakfast. I ordered a “cold-pressed juice” and was expecting it to come freshly juiced. A small plastic bottle with a long Best Before Date was placed on my table. I was so disappointed that I asked for it to be taken away and replaced with whatever they had fresh. Out of the extensive juice menu, that was only OJ. It just left me with the sense that this was less of a diner and more of a glorified Pret. My pal’s bagel looked good but my fry-up was nothing special - lots of little things that could have been better: 1 slice of white sliced toast seemed ungenerous and a bit surprising in a place where I was expecting more than Mother’s Pride.
For desert ; New York cheese cake with crunchy pretzel and with melting salty caramel was amazing !
Great place to eat and meet. The ambiance is fantastic although a little noisy
Don't know how they managed to ruin avocado on a bagel but it wasn't great. Too much fuss and stuff on it.
Lovely place for breakfast - good range of options, attentive service and well located. Would return.
i went there with my two kids and we had a great time, the ambience is very cozy and intimate, the food tasty. i liked very much the contrast between the huge room and the small and close tables. we loved it.
Sehr empfehlenswert, tolle Atmosphäre, gutes Essen.
Waffles and chicken was a very strange combo. The tea was far too weak (one bag per pot is not enough) and was lapsang souchong which is not what I would call a breakfast tea.
Seabass was good.
Service was relaxed and friendly.
Not my best visit.
Pleasant environment, food was nice and service ok. Not wowed but not disappointed either. Just fine!
This was my second time here and really enjoyed it again. The service was good and the food was delicious. I would recommend this venue to anyone considering it.
Never disappoints! Great staff, great food!! Always my go to restaurant.
Great attentive service. Food was excellent. Would visit again.
Great building atmosphere fantastic great food and service well
Food was tasty and fresh. Good sized portions at surprisingly reasonable prices. Friendly efficient staff.
Only disappointment was that they had run out of their juices and only had 2 left of something we did not like.
A perfect Reuben sandwich, effortless service and beautiful surroundings - what not to like?
Really disappointing breakfast. Scrambled eggs were cold. Coffee was warm, toast was under cooked and when I asked for properly toasted bread it returned almost burnt. Food that I expected to be easily well prepared was very disappointing and the bill was a bit of a kick in the teeth.
