Love the patio so whenever the weather is pleasant, I take the opportunity to dine at ztejas. I also love the fact you’re dog friendly plus my dog loves the corn bread (as do I). Great happy hour food options as well. I only wish you had more wine options by the glass

So loud we could not have a conversation at the table. The pumpkin mole enchiladas were delicious. The ahi tuna salad was fresh and good. Disappointed by the ancho fudge pie, though. It used to have a smoky, chili undertone, but now, it just tastes like plain chocolate pie. They’ve taken the ancho out of the ancho fudge. The server was rather surly and unfriendly.

We haven’t been here for awhile. We enjoyed it and will return sooner rather than later. Mushroom enchiladas were just as great as they always have been. Chicken fried chicken was very good as well.

This visit was to celebrate a family special occasion. The ZTejas staff provided a pleasing seating arrangement, excellent service, and appropriate sensitivity to the family’s special requirements. The food was excellent in quality and in presentation. The price point for the meal was about average but not so high as to be a deterrent.

Very enjoyable experience overall…. We sat on the patio….not too many people that day so conversation at our table was not interrupted…….overhead mister fans were excellent in providing extra comfort to the warm day….. Staff was friendly……waitress was pleasant and helpful..several other waitpersons also stopped by our table to say hello…. It was a birthday and Z Tejas topped off our visit by contributing a yummy piece of chocolate pecan pie

I always have a great experience at zjtejas. The patio is fabulous and very dog friendly. I usually take advantage of the happy hour menu which is great.

My partner and I have been regulars at Z Tejas-Avery Ranch as it is near our home. The food is always great, we're always greeted by a polite staff, and the service is awesome. This past Saturday was the first time that we reserved a spot on the covered patio to watch the UT football game and it was a really pleasant experience.

Overall ZTejas has really gone down in quality and service. We went to ZTejas on Sunday for dinner. We ordered drinks at the bar first and the bartender was rude. Drink prices were rather high and I doubt that there was a half of a cup of liquid in the glass. It was 90% ice. The food was bland. It definitely did not feel like the up scale atmosphere that they are known for. Don't waste your money going to this place.

We had a great time listening to Gunnar Latham. He is amazing and destined to go far. The food was amazing The staff very attentive. Highly recommend checking this place out. We sat outside and even though it was hot as heck. We were very comfortable with the fans and misters. Looking forward to more events there

ZTejas is not what it used to be when in the Arboretum which was artistic and exceptional. The chicken relleno which used to be a wow experience was as if someone thru the ugh ingredients in a blender... only a mush of sweet heat. The cornbread is laughable in size and current recipe. The prior jewel is now a bomb!

Food was excellent and priced well. Patio area is very nice with misters to keep cool. Our waiter was knowledgeable and we actually let him pick the items and we were not disappointed. Food was out timely and hot. Although very busy for a Saturday night, service was solid.

Music is too loud to have a decent conversation. The food was tasty, however the kitchen needs some help with certain items. Chicken tinga should never be soupy. Same goes for the chorizo gravy. Overall it was good, but not to the level it needs to be at for an outstanding "I want to go back" review.
