We had a lovely evening at Rabot 1745, they made a huge effort throughout the evening including a delicious chocolate board because it was my boyfriend's birthday. The food was amazing, I'd highly recommend.
The most amazing food I’ve ever had!
Companies by amazing guest service :)
Wish I could come everyday!
This was our second trip to Rabot 1745 and it will continue to be a stop for dinner every time that we are in London.
The service was stellar and the food amazing. The presentation was stunning and the taste was excellent.
We had two very unique cocktails that were also a lovely start to the meal.
We will be back whenever we can.
Food was great with attention to presentation. Would great for dates. Definitely heading back to try some other dishes.
Lovely restaurant overlooking Borough Market.
Nice menu with a chocolate twist.
Beautiful steak and interesting chocolate sauce!
Had lunch booked for 2pm. Became obvious very quickly that they were very busy with afternoon teas and our lunch became a long wait to order and be served, so much so that we gave up on ordering puddings and paid up (after a long wait) and got coffee and cake elsewhere. Our assigned waiter even commented (as he rushed passed) “oh dear seems I’ve forgotten you”. Not a good experience at all.
A very pleasant restaurant with good views over Borough Market. The food is beautifully presented, and the service attentive.
Brilliant spot upstairs which was not too busy for Friday night and I could actually hear the conversation on the table as it was relatively quiet.
Food was great and you get 20% off the chocolate shop off as well.
One of my favourite places, never fails to deliver. Service and food is always excellent.
Rabot is my absolute favourite restaurant, myself and my partner have spent birthdays, New Years and all other occasions there and it’s amazing every time. You cannot beat the max and cheese
A birthday celebration lunch. As midweek it was relatively quiet but the food was amazing and although the menu wasn’t extensive it still took a while to decide what to choose. The sticky toffee pudding left me wanting more and we’ll definitely be going back to trial some other Cacao cocktails and maybe that afternoon tea I was tempted to have.
Great prices!! Great Atmosphere!! and Great meal!!!
Beautiful food. Excellent service. What more do you want.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Would love to eat here again.
We all just had full english breakfast, good quality produce and love the white chocolate sauce!.
The food arrived cold as the kitchen is in the basement and arrives via dumb waiter. My burger was delicious but lacked a decent tomato based sauce and I don’t like eating off a platter where the food threatens to fall off the narrow space. The BAFTA chocolate mousse was frozen as was my friends trio of chocolate mousses which is not ideal. The restaurant itself was not well heated and I felt a draft on my back all evening. Staff were very friendly. The hake was also quite a small portion for my friend and his chips also arrived pale looking and cold. But we were with other friends and did t want to complain. Won’t be back on purpose. Very disappointed
Some of us had been before whilst other hadn't. I told the waitress we were going to the theatre afterwards and what time we'd need to leave and everything worked perfectly for this to happen. The food and service was excellent as usual. I am sure we will be back.
Great place, been there a few times now and never been let down. Not the cheapest!
Food was exemplary and well presented. Love the sustainable aspect of using the whole cacao product.
Staff were attentive and friendly.
Great food. The white chocolate mash was amazing! The cocoa beer was great. The service was attentive. The location in Borough market is very convenient for London Bridge station. Will visit again.
Interesting food coupled with fantastic service. Thoroughly recommend.
Surprising but beautiful and delicious. Great hospitality.
Fabulous quality food - very very tasty ! Service was first class and lovely atmosphere!
I booked this table for Business as a Client was Leaving so it was for a little "Good Luck" meal.
Our waiter went above and beyond for us, he placed us on the best table in the restaurant and his service was fantastic, he provided lots of recommendations on food and drinks and also took in consideration my nut allergy. Also to top things of he provided my client with a little good luck message on a beautiful display for her desert.
I honestly could not thank him enough and for the experience he provided.
I would definitely recommend to a friend.
Pre show meal. Excellent service, allow 2 hours
Food was lovely, really nice and really good service. I liked the fact that they brought a caraffe of water to the table without having to ask. The only slight criticism was that like many restaurants these days they added a discretionary tip onto the bill but it was done in such a way that you paid it before you could have it removed, making the overall meal quite pricey - though probably not for London
I was given the experience of afternoon tea at Rabot 1745 for a Christmas present. The whole experience was well worth the visit ..
Great afternoon T experience.
The coffee was delicious and our waiter was great but our pancakes were burnt ☹️
Very pleasant experience. Breakfast was very enjoyable.
Came and ate at Rabot on Valentine’s Day and had a lovely time! Service was friendly and welcoming, and the food was amazing!
Lovely little enchanted restaurant absolutely amazing food unique and tasty, service was brilliant friendly informative staff who were very attentive. The toilets were a very unique addition we have had the pleasure of visiting the beacon in St Lucia and the toilet acoustics were on point the added addition of Robot 1745 products are such a lovely addition.
We will be returning again soon.
Lovely desserts. Ok mains. Poor starters. The food all looks wonderful but in our opinion lacked flavour, and certainly didn’t live up to the descriptions and promise of the menu. The hints of chocolate throughout the menu were generally imperceptible and the food was not worth it’s price tag. Over £100 for a mediocre meal for two isn’t really acceptable in this day and age. Would not return. Will remain fans of Hotel Chocolat’s shops though.
Wonderful Valentines Lunch. Great service and food.
Went on Valentine's Day for lunch, originally we had booked inside as we felt it would be too cold for the terrace. When we arrived we were offered seats outside, these overlook the market. With the addition of parasols above the tables all with 4/5 heaters underneath it was really warm, we also had blankets but they weren't needed. We had our 4year old son with us and the staff were really nice fussing over him. We had a couple of cocktails, with much of the restaurant geared towards the chocolate theme these all tie in nicely (Rum based paired with chocolate etc). We ate the Chateaubriand sharer, this was very well cooked and came with sides of chips as well as Mac n Cheese . The portion size was just right for us, we also had a bottle of Merlot, which at £25 was decent. All in its as expensive as any other good London restaurant, you get something different being in the market and the chocolate theme doesn't ruin the experience was it's not over done. To finish my partner had the Molten chocolate dessert and they gave our son an array of chocolates on the house (Hotel Chocolat own the restaurant) which was a nice touch. The service from all was first rate from start to finish.
Fantastic restaurant - everything has cocoa in it somewhere but it works perfectly. Beautiful food, amazing desserts and lovely feel to the place. A gem of a place.
We had a wonderful meal, and will definitely come back! Only one tiny criticism: we would have preferred to finish our pre-dinner gin and tonics before the food was served.
The staff were very friendly but not overly intrusive
Unfortunately disappointed doesn't not even come close. We were so excited to discover that Hotel Chocolat had a restaurant and we could not wait to visit based solely on the fact that we adore your Chateau Chocolate Signature wine. Only when we arrived, after a 3 hour trip from Dorset, we were told that you had run out! Run out.....On a Saturday, this probably being your busiest day!
Having looked online, I see that you have no less than 30 outlets in the London area and the 1 restaurant you have had run out of their signature wine. We were offered another wine which was sold by the bottle only and much dearer.
I'm sorry to say we will not be returning.
Excellent food and service
Quirky outdoor area if you can put up with the train noise and market below
