The food is absolutely excellent but we had to wait over 20min before we could order drinks and another 50min after order to get our food so this took way to long. We went here for breakfast but turned out as brunch/lunch.
The table was booked for dinner; we had a lounge sofa and low table not suited for eater.
We had a 90 minute reservation and 20 minutes were spent waiting for someone to take the order.
The space was cold and windy as the inside terrace was not secured from the elements; the zips to the screens were broken at our visit.
Drink menu - amazing however the food menu was rather limited. This was expected because I had looked up the menu but as it was a surprise for the girlfriend, she struggled to pick something for her taste.
Service delivery was amazing - Many thanks
Booked for my daughters 21st Birthday lunch but was disappointed overall with the experience. Table and setting were fine. Service was pretty slow so when it arrived we ordered cocktails and our food. The food was served and eaten by the time the cocktails arrived! The waiter did try and help by serving us a glass of prosecco shortly after the food arrived and he very kindly brought us another later on but that couldn't make up for the disappointment. The food was very expensive for what it was and how it was presented. A cold submarine roll filled with lobster and mayo, served with sweet potato fries at £25 was pretty ridiculous. My steak was awesome but it came with 6 chips & salty peppercorn sauce at £23, no salad or veg. Cocktails were average but at £17 they shouldn't be! £10 a go at The Alchemist the night before was special, cocktails were amazing. Nice setting and I'm sure in summer it would be spectacular as the views are great. Guys behind us waited 20mins plus for service before the free prosecco arrived to make up for the poor service and a group that left while we were there refused to pay the 15% service charge as they had "waited an hour for a coffee". Why don't they just get a couple of additional staff? I won't be rushing back and it's disappointing to have to say that. Come on Radio Rooftop, sort it out.....
Normally if recommend radio however the last time I visited the service was shockingly bad. Mistake after mistake. I always order the espresso me cocktail which I obviously love however this time it was horrid and some of the drink was missing. I couldn’t be bothered to complain as the staff wouldn’t understand it’s not a money issue but a service one. I liked radio so much that I celebrated my birthday dinner in Zelos and had drinks in radio. Never again. Not sure what’s happened as I use to rave and try to come as often as I can but it was appalling.
Fantastic atmosphere. Service a little slow to begin with but all very friendly. Food tasty and a wonderful view. A little pricey but aware of this when booking and for a special occasion was perfect.
Very poor. appallingly slow service, which we had to flag down on every occasion. Total even took 2.5 hours most of it waiting.. and it wasn’t even particularly busy.
Totally unacceptable when premium prices are being charged.
Food was ok. Event, which was a birthday was total let down as a result.
Enjoyed the experience can’t wait to go back in the summer
Best rooftop bar restaurant
Great place for an aperitif (good but expensive) with a beautiful skyline. Food menu is very banal. Service nothing special.
Outstanding location and stunning views. A must for anyone that wants a decent meal and a drink. Thank you and can’t wait to visit again soon
Would be better if we had a table with a view
Was a little disappointed that we booked a table for 5 for dinner and had a couple of “cocktail” tables so not really suitable for a meal ! It is fine for cocktails and tapas/snacks but not really a restaurant. A little misleading tbh. We had snacks and drinks but were unhappy that we were unable to have a proper dinner which was our intention. We did complain and the staff did try to put it right but they couldn’t obviously give us a proper table as it isn’t a “restaurant” which is what we thought we’d booked for!
Kids friendly rooftop bar during the day. We loved the place and the beautiful views during the day. Drinks and nibbles at lunch time were very good, although food was a bit slow. Staff was very kind and polite. We had 3 kids with us including a toddler and there were no issues at all. We are looking forward to come back and have a great time again.
Great venue, but poor food and very very noisy could not talk reasonably
We had booked a table for 2 at 11pm. We arrived on time and was shown to our table. We ordered our drinks, however we had to wait nearly 20 mins for the drinks to arrive. After several reminders, the waiter did come over to apologise for the delay. Other guests seemed to be getting served much more quickly as we would have expected. We were mystified as to why it should take so long to complete our drinks order, nothing complicated.
Overall the visit was good, however was marred by the long time it took to be served. I would recommend with caution...
Brunch menu disappointing in range and choice. Have dined on usual menu and it’s lovely. Went for lobster roll (AWFUL, mostly bread, tiny bit of lobster), and steak (hilarious portion of 6, count them, 6 chips). Very hard to see how the £50 min spend can be achieved per head on that menu! Christmas trees awful, no lights or decorations. Just a let down.
Went for my wifes birthday, the experience is good but for someone who has allergies and intolerances there's not much that could be done or even attempted to see if I could eat from another menu for example, even though I advised of my allergies etc when booking. Otherwise I would recommend, service was excellent!
Had a lovely evening there to celebrate my sisters birthday. Our radio server ‘zsolt’ was so lovely and helped make the birthday celebrations special.
We had a dinner reservation for my 30th birthday to be seated outside with the smallest little table that would fit only two drinks, which would have been unsuitable to eat off - Why would we be sat outside in the wet and cold when there plenty of tables inside I felt so disappointed. We did manage to change to a proper dining table but the food was so poor. Frozen cheap food warmed up. Slow service. Very poor.
Lovely setting, but drinks were overpriced and the cocktail was watery and tasteless
This place is about the View. The rooms have a nice decor. We were there for an early lunch. The service was slow and untrained. The food was not as discribed on the menu - and not tasty. But the view was nice.
Really enjoyed the breakfast with my family! They loved the view of London and the service. Food is good and enough for you are paying. Highly recommended.
Perfect place for a group dinner. Fantastic view, great vibe, good food and awesome service.
I was there with a group of friends- we were hoping for a nice dinner with a view. The food ,ambiance and the service was flawless. We could barely see any bit of the city. But very disappointed with the restricted view . It's a nice lively place for a Saturday evening but wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is looking for a roof top view of the city.
Such an amazing place the drinks and snacks were fantastic, slightly pricey but well worth the visit.
Lovely atmosphere, beautiful views and amazing cocktails
Came here for my 30th. When I first rang up to enquire about the party I was kind of put-off by the very complicated group booking rules, it was something like; min spend £50pp up to 10 guests, but £100pp up to 15, £125pp over 15, and I could only keep the table for 1.5hr.... something like this.
It was off-putting because I wanted something semi-relaxed, I didn't know exactly numbers, and I was paying myself so needed the bill under control.
Anyway, I went there, and on the night it couldn't have been better! Staff were very relaxed about how many people I had, very attentive to my table, champagne was flowing, nibbles came, I kept the table 3+hrs for no extra, whilst not cheap the bill was totally fine - no pedantic about min spzend etc etc.
It was really excellent - I HIGHLY recommend this great bar for a celebration!
Very arrogant and unfriendly staff. Poor service. Can not recommend this place. Ruined our 50's birthday celebration.
We were left standing outside the main entrance for 20 minutes on my partners birthday. There was no sign or anyone to tell us we had to use the another entrance through the hotel. The security guard saw us waiting in the cold 3 times and did not help. The value for the drinks were ridiculously high and the VAT and service charge was ridiculous for what we paid for.
I was promised over the phone complimentary drinks will be given at it was my partners birthday none of this happened. Very poor experience
The service was really slow when we arrived to order our food. We eventually ordered and when the food came out only half of it was delivered, the burgers came out without the sides. The sides eventually came out once we had finished our mains so ended up eating just a plate of green beans and broccoli. The ambience was bad and there were only a handful of other guests there.
Wouldn’t recommend nor will I visit again.
Very busy and very young crowd. The “dress code” is not adhered to. Staff were not overly attentive. One of chicken dishes was raw. This was sent back to the kitchen. This place has all style but no substance. Save your money. There are more classier restaurants available. Next time, will just drink there as the rooftop views are amazing.
It’s very expensive, £35 for 2 cocktails is abit much
I sat here about 1 year ago and the place was great, eveything was the way it is supposed to be! This time, not so much. Right from the elevator, the speakers were gainig and there was a lot of distorsion, but let's for arguments' sake say that this is just the elevator. Once you get to the 10th floor, it doesn't get any better. The speakers are blown to a level they don't support , there is no base, no vibes, and worst of all the DJ doesn't even do anything. She was just bobbing around wearing headphones that were not even plugged in. What a joke! I'm a professional DJ and sound engineer and I know how these things work, there is no fooling me. Essentially, they are just playing back a pre-recorded mix, which is fine, but for god sake, buy some decent speakers and get rid of the DJ, or get a real DJ! I tried 2 cocktails and then just moved to a whiskey because both were awful. The taste was way to sweet and there was almost 0% alcohol. On the upside, the waitress was very kind and friendly, but that is the only upside...
It’s a great place with wonderful views. It would fair to say that both the food and service were at best average. I have had drinks in the bar before and they were great hence why I booked a client lunch there. On this occasion, whilst the table was great overlooking the wonderful London skyline, the impression was that the diners were getting in the way of the staff keeping the trendy vibe. Had to go to the bar in the middle of lunch to order more wine as no waiter, had to get own cutlery from the next table for main course. not good enough for the price. All in all, it could and should have been better. It’s a super trendy place with beautiful people working there However, i would trade that for great service food and ambience , and this didn’t have any of those ......Sorry
Honoured all of my special requests for my date night. Looking forward to going back.
Most of our party chose the roast as it was a Sunday but they had no potato’s! My lobster sandwich, I could have made myself, nothing special. Desserts were great though.
The place is amazing just as the staff! The food was great and the choice was large ! Excellent discovery. The only - point was the broken window next to our table since it was windy this day. But in overall the experience was amazing, I surely will come back there !
The table wasn't ready when we arrived, even though I had booked.
The staff was not aware that it was an anniversary even though I had specified it when I made the reservation. They brought the cake with the candle out.....
Were forced by staff to move inside to eat dessert.
And we were hunted at 00:00 sharp because the restaurant closed, on top of that the music was turned off 1 hour before closing time...... which really gave the impression that we had to leave as soon as possible.
Too bad, the place is beautiful but the service and staff are not up to the task.
I wouldn't come back and recommend this restaurant.
