Rafina Greek Taverna

Tasty food with good variety. Large portions - I'll be enjoying my take home. Noisy inside seating so go when the weather is warm and you can enjoy dinner outside.
Great food and selection. Reasonably priced. Nice outdoor back deck is much quieter on busy nights.
Gathering of friends
Delious food... Great service & if you sit outside a beautiful view!
We came in with a friend & we loved it & she loved it. The food is always great. It is our go to place for the best Greek Food in town.
Been many times and always had a great experience. This time however bar was backed up and took 15 minutes to get drinks. 55 minutes before my dinner was served.
Server was wonderful. My husband ordered grilled octopus and was overcooked. Manager apologized and asked if he would like something else. By that time he didn’t and manager took it off the bill. We would definitely go back but probably not get same meal. Everything else was delicious.
Awesome! Gustafo is a great server.
Great food we were impressed
Excellent food. Best service
We had a very unfortunate experience. A waiter set off the fire alarm while serving a flaming cheese platter. It took the fire department 50 minutes to come and shut off the alarm. The patrons had to endure screeching noise for 50 minutes.
It ruined the whole evening. I’m addition to this the bathroom was flooded and inoperable. Truly a terrible night. I’ll never go back
We brought friends with us again and they loved the food and the location. We enjoyed some happy hour drinks and great entrees with the addition of that warm pita appetizer. It's pretty noisy but that's part of what makes it fun! Try the Shrimp Santorini - YUM! And my husband loves the lamb chops!
Way too noisy and waiter was a nervous wreck!
Loved the small plates served during “ HAPPY HOUR”
Delicious and well priced
Best to go early; the later, the more noise there is
Monday-Thursday if you sit at the bar, All Night HAPPY HOUR
Rafina has excellent food with a wide range of voices. Our waiter, Nick was the best. I highly recommend it.
Excellent restaurant. Nourriture parfaite. Service impeccable et très courtois.
It was a cold night, so we didn't get to enjoy the water, which hopefully would have been a little quieter. The feta spread and pita they bring to the table to start are delicious! The Octopus appetizer was also outstanding. After that, the meal was so so. My branzino filleted was pretty dry and the traditional horitaki style greek salad was good, but the dressing was lacking the seasoning we look forward to in the Mediterranean. My husband's veal chop was pretty average in taste. Our friends had the branzino and shrimp with olives and tomatoes. They both seemed pretty happy. I would probably give it another go and maybe order something different because I love Greek food.
Waitress was nasty..
Spilled a drink and it was all over the floor with ice. We put napkins on it. We were at an end table and concerned someone was going to fall. Tried to get attention of one of
the young men cleaning tables, saw my hand, and ignored me. Told our waitress and she barked, well we're
very busy. She eventually came over and wiped it up, and I told her she was nasty. Of course she argued back and said she wasn't...Hah...Did not make for a pleasant dining experience, and the lesser tip showed
However, as always, we enjoyed the meal.
We were very disappointed in both the food and service. Appetizers were fine and served within a reasonable amount of time but the main course was a disaster. We waited more than 35 minutes after the appetizers were served for our main dishes. During that time the waiter came over only once and didn’t even realize we hadn’t yet been served! When the food finally came, both dishes were undercooked. I was able to eat my beef kebab, medium rare rather than medium, as ordered, but my husband’s grilled salmon was uncooked. When he showed it to the manager and asked for it to be cooked through it was taken back to the kitchen but was never brought back. After waiting 15 minutes longer we told the manager to just take it off the check because we didn’t want to wait any longer. Very disappointing overall!
We have dined here many times but our experience last night was anything but pleasant!!
We asked to switch our table and we were pleasantly accommodated by our very kind waiter and were escorted and seated. However, when we sat at the new table, a waiter by the name of ‘Nick’ came over and started yelling at us to get up and that it was his table and he was seating someone else there. He was in my face screaming and being very aggressive. We got up and returned to our table quite shaken and disturbed by the public verbal abuse! The waiter ‘Nick’ came over to apologize and offered us food to compensate for his what he said was his rudeness. He came over 3 more times. It did not make up for the verbal abuse. We were told the manger would come by to talk to us...he never showed and apparently left the restaurant. We were very unhappy with the overall experience.
Made a reservation for 4 for outdoor seating a week in advance. Arrived on time for our reservation and was told there is a 45 minute wait for outdoor. A thousand restaurants in boca. This one went to the bottom of my list
Great lamb chops!!!! Great greek salad and sit on patio and enjoy fresh air, dogs welcome!
Very good service. Food very good. It was a bit expensive but overall we all enjoyed our dinner.
New Year’s Eve dinner
It was great as usual. HD a wonderful lunch. We wished our friends a Happy New Year 2020.
Beautiful setting! Very good Greek food with good service.
The place is very loud. Perhaps it could be nice to dine lakeside.
My adult daughter became violently ill from the Patitsio.
The hummus was good. The other food we ate was good, too.
Used to be a good place. Seems to be going downhill.
Another perfect meal and night at Rafinas. The food is always amazing and the service is always perfect as well. Nick always makes sure we are treated well and he himself treats us like family.
I would give 10 stars if possible. This is my favorite restaurant all around.
Everything was great!! As usual! A great Christmas Dinner. Service, dinner and food were impeccable.
A beautiful and outstanding Christmas Day experience! The Mediterranean Mix melts in your mouth - Superb! St. Nick the waiter was excellent ❤
Food was good, decent menu. Not inexpensive. Inside seating (and into the building lobby for overflow) wasn’t pleasant and VERY noisy. Outside might be better. Surly manager looked right at us as we left and didn’t say a word, “there’s another table I have to clean”. Everybody has a bad day.
We were a party of 4. Each of us ordered a different meal and we were all very happy!
We stopped in for lunch and caught up with some friends. The food was great as usual. We are
going on X'mas Day for Dinner at 4pm.
Great food and beautiful drinks! I will be back again!
Enjoyed my first visit. Will be back
Everything we ordered was delicious! Great spices and well prepared. Great local find!
Excellent service and very good food.
We have eaten here many times and it’s always very good.
Food was good , not great. The waiter needed to go back to “waiter school”. Got salad orders wrong. Asked for no potatoes, double veggies. Got it wrong again. Ordered coffe. Never asked if we wanted refills. Extremely poor waiter service and not very attentive to his costumers.
The authentic greek food and atmosphere. Last year my uncle took us there we fell in love with the food. Now everytime we are in the area we go to Rafinas Greek tavern
