Red Lantern CT
It is hard to argue with the food selection as everything we ordered was tasty and plentiful (the lobster ragoons were a big hit as was the sashimi) and the service was great. The cost of the meal was painful but I certainly acknowledge I know where I was and I know what I was ordering so I should just shut up and move on. Best fried rice anywhere by far!
It was a fun place to go before our concert.
The Hawaiin poke bowl wasn’t as advertised. It had no nuts and had cucumbers (which I hate). When I asked it to be remade without them, they picked them out and sent the same dish back to the table, with some cucumbers still in it. They stuck it from the bill but the service took forever and we were already late for a concert. I won’t be going back
Poor food. Value was terrible. Salty pork fried rice.
General Tao chicken poor. Chicken wings were terrible. Won ton soup mediocre.
Not fine dining. Big disappointment.
Fantastic food and geeat ambiance. We’ll def be back !!
Service was prompt, efficient and excellent. Food was served hot and was tasty and fresh.
Excellent food & service. Highly recommend this place
My husband and I ALWAYS have a wonderful dinner at Red Lantern. Always accommodating.
Food was good but pricey. Too far of a walk from the theaters.”
Service was great. Food is good. Open space so it can be a bit loud.
Service was great prices were a little high but to be expected for Casino food was okay I've had better it's nothing I would run back to go eat at again
We go to Red Lantern every time we head to Foxwoods. We have brought friends and family there. The food and service is EXCELLENT.
We arrived for a 6:00 reservation in order to attend a 7:30 concert. We were seated right away and drink and appetizer orders were taken in a reasonable timeframe. They were delivered to the table in an appropriate time frame and the food was good - fresh. Then it all declined from there. Our main courses did not arrive for quite a long time. About 6:45 our server stopped to see if we would like another drink and stated that our dinners would be right out. At 7:00 we asked our server how much longer it would be and shared that we were getting concerned about the time. At 7:15 3 of the 4 dinners arrived and we called a manager over to say that we no longer wanted the 4th dinner and expressed concern that the party was now unable to enjoy their dinners. At 7:30 I went to the register where our server was talking to the manager and asked for the bill. She expressed that she was sorry I didn't like my food. When informed I had never gotten it, she was surprised. My meal and an additional nominal fee was removed from the bill but considering that 2 dinners were left largely untouched and the bad experience, certainly not appropriate compensation. Very disappointing experience overall.
The sushi was awful we did not like that sauce that was put on the sushi. My friends and I left most of the it on plate. We spent a lot of money on the sushi for us not to enjoy it.
Great food and ambiance would definitely go back whenever I visit foxwood , I went there twice during my trip
One of my favorite restaurants!
Good food at the casino. Server was a bit slow. But turnover was quick.
Very disappointing. The food wasn't actively bad, but it was consistently (over 2 apps and 2 mains) bland and uninteresting. The mai tai's were pretty good w/ a spice I couldn't identify giving it a little extra & different flavor. The service was attentive but the timing of the dishes was not good (too long for the apps, too soon for the mains). For a restaurant that the resort bills as upscale the decor was ordinary and not high end in any way. Prices were competitive for high end Asian cuisine but only if the food and ambience justify the cost, which they did not.
Love the food great service always top notch!
This was not our first visit to Red Lantern and we will most certainly go back. The food was outstanding. The service was great and it’s is a really nice place to dine.
Loved everything about this place, came for dinner on my birthday, not only were the vibes great and food delicious but the service was amazing! Shout out to our server Sarah! :)
I would recommend Red Lantern for their sushi. The veggie tempura was underwhelming, some pieces didn't have any breading on them, the dish could use more sauce.
great sushi platters! soups were also goood. Service was fast.
Even thought the food was delicious, service took a while. Still really enjoy this restaurant.
I had a great experience at Red Lantern. The portions were great for the price and the service was tremendous
Sushi was fresh service was prompt and quick definitely returning again
Was such a great meal. Large portions. They catered to our food allergies.
We dined here twice and enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food. The food is similar to Chinese but not greasy and much spicier. We ordered the chicken wings, house rice, General Tso chicken and egg rolls and enjoyed it all. The service was efficient and pleasant. There were two of us and we had enough food to take home and have dinner the following day
The appetizers were excellent. The sushi was ok, but nothing special. We had a drink at the bar before dinner, and both the bartender and our server were prompt, friendly and helpful. We would definitely go again.
It states this restaurant is fine dining. There is nothing fine about the place. Food for a restaurant in Foxwood is totally disapointing
After waiting 30 minutes for our drinks to come and receiving no help from the maitre d or the manager, we walked out!
I thought the prices were a bit high but I guess that’s to be expected at the casino.
The food was fantastic, and the service could not have been better. Best restaurant in Foxwoods.
My wife and I first visited Red lantern 2 years ago and there was nothing on their menu that i didn't think was completely delicious. Back then i would have given the food 5 out of 5. On this return trip, the food just does not have the same appeal. We ordered shrimp Shumai and chinese wings..the wings were awful and the shumai tates just like the frozen ones I buy in the supermarket. Drinks were pricey for what you get, i ordered a second drink a mojito and it tasted like club soda with mint leaves.
The service was great, Tony was the best. Food was so good. Definitely will go more.
Our server was amazing! We needed to catch a show and everything came out with plenty of time to spare! Great food and great service.
I have been going to the Red Lantern for a few years now and the food was incredible until the past year or so. Not sure if they changed ownership/managers but the food is not what it used to be. I'm not saying it's bad, just that it was a lot better. For instance, they used to have the best General Tso's chicken I've ever had and at my most recent visit I couldn't even eat it. It was more of an orange chicken with no spice or flavor. The beef skewers have changed dramatically, lesser cut of meat and different sauce. Chicken lettuce wraps are no longer the same and previous sauces are no longer offered. I eat out a lot and The Red Lantern was one of my favs but I cannot say that any longer.
The sushi was fresh and our visit coincided with their Happy Hour and Thursday specials. $5 rolls are a good value and the $10 Sushi Pizza (shaped like a wedge) was excellent!
Service was terrible, ambiance good, food mediocre
