- OTCumbria •1 review4.0Dined 4 days agoRickerby Retreat is a lovely venue, I was really impressed with the decor and view. I had requested a sofa seat but we were put on a table next to the window. Some lights in the garden outside would have been nice at this time of year. It was an amazing view on arrival but darkness soon kicked in and it was pitch black outside. The service, setting and food were all lovely. We didn’t have any hot drinks with afternoon tea and opted for a glass of wine instead. It would have been a nice gesture to at least get one of these included in the price of afternoon tea.
