From the moment we walked in until we left the service was superb. Meet greet , coats taken care of , taken to a lovely table in a room with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Fortunato our waiter looked after us so well, attentive without being overbearing, made us feel so welcome. The food as always was top class , quality produce cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. The Ivy Temple Row is consistently excellent. Thank you for a most enjoyable lunch .

Comfortable pub - nice to see a space gor drinkers as well as diners. Excellent range of local drinks too. Dog friendly. Menu is small but wide ranging, whilst the cooking is outstanding and fairly priced. Helpful smiley staff. Stayed in a garden lodge - worth looking at too if you want to eat and try all the local fare. Highly recommended

Having only just discovered Pensons we are very sorry to hear it will be closing. We had hoped to go there for an evening meal and overnight stay before Christmas but it is now fully booked until it closes on the 22nd. We went for my husband's 80th Birthday lunch and came away feeling totally spoilt.

We had a great breakfast, meeting friends, there was need to rush to leave the table. Very helpful and friendly staff.
