Ashton-Under-Lyne Restaurants

The ethos of this restaurant aligns completely with my belief about British food. We have great quality, fresh and seasonal produce available locally, which this restaurant showcases imaginatively. We are a couple who dined here on a Saturday night at the bar counter. We witnessed everything that was going on in the kitchen and were blown away by the professionality and care of the staff. The service was attentive and thoughtful, but not intrusive. Our waitress could answer ALL our questions about the food and wine and no ask was too great. We ordered the set menu, the dishes of which remain a surprise until you receive them. We decided to put our faith in the kitchen and were not disappointed. Each dish was carefully prepared with this season's produce and the waiters took care to explain what was in each one. The combination of ingredients was just so imaginative. There was turnip paired with elderflower and gooseberries, yoghurt paired with sorrel, even though my personal favourite was all the local cheese and butter! If you're looking for something different, and an experience that leaves a lasting impact by making you think twice about where our daily food comes from, this is the restaurant for you.

Myself and my party had such a lovely time last night the place is stunning the food was amazing and our service was fantastic we were served by the lovely Nandi (i hope ive spelt her name correctly) she was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed, my only critique would be that the drinks and food took a while to come out but other than that it was excellent and we would definitely be back.
