First time i have visited Fiume and it certainly won't be the last. Very impressed with the food and service.

Went for a birthday lunch with my parents. The food was great. Staff were very attentive and even sang happy birthday with a birthday cruffin. Thank you so much for a lovely time.

We went to 1840 on the 1st December for our daughter’s 30th birthday. We had a very warm welcome when we arrived. The staff are very attentive and answered all our questions. My daughter and her husband are vegetarian and though there were only two main choices both were lovely, my husband and I both enjoyed our meal too. It’s a lovely quirky building and they even have old black and white films projected onto the wall in the downstairs part of the building.

Lovely Christmas meal, everything cooked to perfection, couldn’t fault it and the chocolate truffle cheesecake was amazing 🤩

Friendly staff, food was absolutely banging and service was very quick. Only thing I’d maybe suggest is to offer table service to those who have booked. Other than that really enjoyable experience and will definitely return. Especially in the summer as there’s a decent play park out the back :)
