Our party of three dined on 4/13 to celebrate a nonagenarian's birthday. The staff, from manager Yosef, to our accommodating, super-friendly and excellent server Hera and just about every other staff, rolled out the red carpet to make this experience special, from a small offering of Prosecco to kick things off and a final, comped tiramisu, complete with a candle and the birthday song sung by several smiling servers and hosts. Cannot fail to mention the bday card, signed by the full staff. Amazing attention to every detail to make an occasion special for a first-timer at Alta Strada. The chicken parm was delish and enough for a small army; spaghetti AOP was graciously made to include asparagus that one of us had declined with the meal. Needless to say, we will be returning!

Everything was ideal except for the high volume of noise. We sat in a booth near the bar and when other patrons or employees, they came within two inches of the table, which I felt was too close for just a tad bit of privacy. It was truly a case of others almost brushing up against us. However the cocktails, beef, salad and risotto were delicious. Five star meal and service!

Loved the smoked Turkey/gouda burger as well as the “yam & cheese” and Mediterranean wrap. Didn’t like the chips that came with the guacamole - apparently a new type of chip and, had we known, we could have requested pita chips. Restaurant is slightly spendy but food quality was good; our server must have had many table as we didn’t see her for fairly long periods of time - but she was always very pleasant.

BSide is a fantastic cocktail bar and restaurant focusing on butcher choice meats. It's such a fantastic dinner location. The cocktail list has shrunk a bit, but I'm pleased that the bottle list remains pretty extensive. Highly recommend BSide for date nights, happy hours, and gatherings with friends.
