Great meal, great ambience!
Renato's is quite a lovely spot nestled on Worth Avenue. I would have rated it higher except for the fact that I had requested to sit on the patio area in my reservation, and yet when I arrived I was told there wouldn't be a table outside for 45 more minutes. We ended up walking around the area to the beach which was delightful and had a delicious dinner after our wait, but seems inefficient not to have a system to specifically denote outside vs. inside.
Wonderful overall, food, service ambiance, location everything
I love going to Renato's...the setting is beautiful, the staff and service wonderful and the food delicious Was there twice this week and totally enjoyed it.
Was a beautiful evening to enjoy outside courtyard and
Dinner was delicious
Beautiful setting. Duck was not flavorful. Salad just OK
Awesome food, great service, great ambiance! Been here many times and always great!
There was uncooked pasta in my rigatoni alla vodka
Renato's is perfection! From the moment we were seated out in the lovely courtyard we were charmed by the staff and enjoyed a delicious meal. The wine list is extensive and good. The Insalata di Pere was so good, the caramelized pears are fantastic with the aged goat cheese, candied pecans, and champagne vinaigrette. Then the Pappardelle with Veal and wild mushroom did not disappoint. It was creamy and topped off with truffle oil and shaved parmigiano. I recommend both of these dishes! I would go back to Renato's any time I am in Palm Beach. Thank you for a wonderful night!!
We love Renato‘s. We go there at least once or twice every time we visit Palm Beach. It’s the best!
My wifes food was good but both my starter and main were very poor . But
the evening was saved by a nice ambience and EXCELLENT service.
It was our first time having dinner at Renato’s. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was delicious. Impeccable waiters made the evening very enjoyable. There was also a pianist playing which added to the ambience.
Mediocre. Not the Renato’s experience of prior years.
Wonderful atmosphere and food. Pricey but very worth it.
Went to Renatos for my birthday and it did not disappoint for the occasion. Energetic eclectic crowd, live piano music, great food and drinks. It’s old school Palm Beach style in the heart of PB. Love it.
Reservation was not registered with them but able to take us. What’s up with that???
We LOVE Renatos and have been coming here for years. The service is always on point and the food is absolute perfection. The butter crab. The palm beach salad. It’s all great!
We have dined at Renato’s for years. It was a cool evening. We sat outside. Renato’s still has the old style outdoor heaters. Really detracted from the ambiance. They should upgrade those. Service was very nice but very rushed.
Food was average. The food used to be very good.
I love the elegance as well as the first class service and food quality.
Beautiful outdoor dining and great food.
Always a wonderful experience
I was brought up in Palm Beach and now spend several months a year there. I’ve been a devotee of Renatos since it opened and have had several birthday dinners there. It is by far the prettiest restaurant in town and the food service and atmosphere are the best. I congratulate you. I was saddened the other day however to see a man having lunch in messy running clothes. I realize turning away customers isn’t great for business but Renatos deserves better. Joan Blair
All was special except my veal chop which was over cooked and tough. Atmosphere and service made it a pleasant experience.
Lovely surroundings and impeccable service.
Food is very good and I think it’s the best restaurant on the island.
LOVE Renato’s - so special!
Renatos has really worked hard the past year to maintain excellent service and outstanding food. Last night was a stormy rainy evening but the management and waitstaff executed moving tables from the outside under shelter and accommodating all of their guests. I watched the teamwork and execution and I was very impressed.
My guests ordered veal with Gorgonzola and another dish was the Dover sole. I had the pasta being Italian and I asked for prawns on the top. Everyone was so pleased with their meal. The chef and staff are excellent .
They deliver fine Italian food from a closet like kitchen its always amazing to me.
The atmosphere is most elegant and the restaurant was packed with happy guests and we love the piano music as well.
1. Lost my reservation
2. I asked to check my umbrella and I was told to hold it in my hand
3. I asked to be seated inside because it was supposed to rain and was seated outside. When I asked what happens when it rains I was told I’ll get wet.
4 when it started to rain we picked up our table and moved it into the alcove by the dress shop.
5 it was chilly and we asked for a heater but it was out of gas.
6 we ordered a first course and a pasta course followed by our main and they brought out all the food at once. I specifically requested that the courses be separated. I was given an attitude.
7. Finally they gave in but it was obvious that the food was just held in the back and reheated. For the type of restaurant that should not happen.
We eat out all the time and the experience was very disappointing.
Doesn’t deserve the hype it gets. Far better Italian restaurants in the area in the same price and service level . Cafe Sapori and la sirena for example. Maybe it was an off nite
Our favorite for 27 years
We arrived on time to an nearly empty restaurant. The maitre’d gave us a very difficult time to secure an outside table. He finally agreed to seat us. He gave us the least desirable outdoor table. I asked to move and the female hostess was kind enough to move us to a lovely table.
The food was very good and the outdoor ambiance was lovely .
Be sure to request outdoor seating when making the reservation as the management is not amenable to pleasing a non regular patron.
We've always loved Renato's, but this time was not good. My husband's filet was overcooked, returned and then came back raw in the middle. Once it was finally done correctly, it was tough and didn't have great flavor, really disappointing especially given the price. In fairness to the staff they did remove the charge from the bill. My seafood risotto was ok, but nothing great and served so hot it burned my mouth. The salad and gazpacho were very good and the rolls were wonderful, as always.
Service was not up to Renato's usual standard either. I had to ask for more water and the head waiter never followed up after they returned the filet the last time. We will give the restaurant another try because we LOVE the ambience of the patio, but if the next time isn't better we will go to Buccan where the food is always excellent.
Beautiful outside dining experience. Have been coming for years!
We were two couples getting together for an Italian meal on a very busy weekend in PB. We had made a reservation months in advance. The restaurant checked in with us a couple of days before we were to eat there, just to make sure we were still planning to join them. We were shown to our table in the gorgeous patio and were immediately served water, grissini and bread/butter. We didn’t want drinks as we had just come from a bar. Service was friendly and professional and very quick. No complaints. Food was fabulous. There were two vegetarians in the group. No problem. We didn’t have space left for dessert, but our coffees cam accompanied by a small plate of biscotti. Nice touch. Always a treat to eat here. Bravo!
We always bring guests here because it is so beautiful and the service is the best.
Waiter named Max was completely inept and unprofessional at his job, cares about locals $ and that’s it. Felt I needed to show him my bank account balance , so he would not ignore us for 15 minutes. We had to order through matre’ de, whom was excellent and apologetic for Max.
Wonderful ambience for late lunch celebrating birthday. Excellent service. My husband’s gazpacho and gnocchi were great. I was very disappointed with my minestrone soup (thin, no beans), and the black grouper special with roasted red pepper sauce spinach was just okay. Really good rolls. $250 for two, all in, but that included four drinks.
Special occasion venue. I don’t mind paying for a good meal. Thank being said, I do feel they are a little overpriced.
We ordered the duck, which was overcooked and dry
Always terrific. Our “go to” Palm Beach restaurant for a special occasion. Ambiance is enchanting. Food and service exceptional.
