Restaurant Coworth Park
We had a lovely late lunch - excellent service and food.
Very slow service. We sat down at the table at 1:30pm and by 3:15 we were still waiting for our dessert.
Michelin star service definitely lacking here. My husband ordered a glass off red wine and the waiter just poured it straight into his glass, without pouring a little for him to try first.
The bill arrived with an extra drink from the bar and a glass of white wine that we did not have.
Food was good but our dishes were quite small. The roast beef looked good though.
Not sure we’ll be back for lunch again
Service was exceptional, friendly and professional.
Atmosphere was warm, relaxing and inviting.
Food and drink were wonderful
Lovely food. Pricey though
Fantastic food in a very attractive venue. While the weather turned to rain it did not detract from walking through the very pretty gardens.
Great place. Great food
Food was amazing.
We are thrilled to have found Coworth Park and its wonderful restaurant. The food was amazing, the ambience was lovely, and the service was friendly. This is our new favourite date. Ugh the spot in Surrey!
Amazing food and great accompanying wine.
Really impressed by the whole experience , staff friendly and unobtrusive and the restaurant had a quiet ambience although every table taken . The food was imaginative and delicious and we were even given birthday cards . Highly recommended.
Coworth Park is always a fantastic experience. Because it's 5 star hotel (part of the Dorchester collection) striving for the best it delivers in many ways. However, although the food is excellent it's not quite the standard of Michelin restaurants. They are close and trying hard but not quite there yet in my opinion. The price however is Michelin starred!
Perfect never a bad experience always on point
Very giod surrounding quite and the staff were fantastic very polite and helpful
The meals were also well presented and the staff at the resultant eere polite and listened to our needs
We have been to this place at least a few times before since the food is always good and the services are impeccable. However this time we both had stomach upset afterwards and struggled in the next 24 hours. We both had the same dishes and we guessed it was most probably the oysters topped the fish dish we had as a main. It never happened before and we were quite dissappointed because of this.
Nice Sunday lunch. good value set lunch. Lovely setting.
We chose Coworth as we stayed there in January and ate in the Barn and wanted to eat in the main restaurant. An excellent evening and the tasting menu was exceptional.
Beautiful setting - staff are a credit to the restaurant and the food is delicious- they even changed some of the dishes for me due to nut allergy. Highly recommend.
A restaurant that aspires to be high end, but lacks any competence.
Thoroughly disappointed. First experience here, and certainly the last. Dined with some business colleagues. The atmosphere is formal and starchy with an air of arrogance. Service was at best perfunctory, and at worst incompetent. The waiter who kept leaning across my guest and her plate to serve my food because he couldn't be bothered to walk around the table is a good example of what you can expect. The food was adequate at best for this price point - and the meat for the main course was served lukewarm. I often dine at the Dorchester in London, so had assumed the standards would be similar. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. I wish I had not brought my guests here.
We had the taster menu and each course were too big so half way through, we were completely full. It was not enough break between each course. Food was good
We had a delicious lunch with excellent service but were astounded how expensive a two course lunch was with one drink each. £80 a head is v expensive!!!
The restaurant Coworth Park, with its relaxed elegance and contemporary setting overlooking the lovely gardens is a fantastic setting for any special occasion. The restaurant had a mixture of business associates, family and friends enjoying a lovely lunch. It did get quite busy yet it had a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
The spinach and garlic flower soup was simply delicious and the pan fried cod with fennel and potato was perfectly cooked and well seasoned.
Finished off with fresh ground coffee and the hand made petit fours were simply to die for!
A perfect lunch without being unnecessarily interrupted but just the right amount of attention when need.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant for any celebration/ occasion.
I brought my daughter straight from school to the restaurant as a complete surprise. I wanted 5 star luxury.
They were great about my gluten intolerance. The amuse bouches came on oat cakes. My daughter loved the cumin and carrot velouté. Another surprise.
The mains pork and cod were lovely but not special. The pork had an issue with it, which was a concern. The puds were fantastic . I'm not a pud person.
The rest of the meal was fantastic. Petite fours again the high light.
Overall more 4 stars rather than 5. I felt slightly disappointed and I would not return again in a hurray. The value is a question and the mains need more to them.
This was a very special evening for our anniversary.
The restaurant was aware of the occasion and made it very special for us, including adding an extra course for us, we counted 10 courses in all. If only we could have afforded staying the night in the hotel and enjoying the beautiful grounds the following day.
We would not normally spend such sums at a restaurant but the service was outstanding, the food delicious and the ambiance terrific which made it excellent value. We look forward to celebrating another important marriage milestone here.
A wonderful Sunday lunch - a birthday treat for my partner and she loved it. We've been to foodier and trendier places but there are restaurants that are just all round great. This was one such Sunday lunch.
Our third visit and despite being very busy, the amazing service continued as before, together with outstanding quality food. Hard if not impossible to fault.
Great food, great service, with an all round friendliness that is hard to beat.
Wine is overpriced for all types and vintages.
One of my favourite restaurants in the world - and a great place for a celebration - faultless service and beautiful food with excellent wine recommendations from the sommelier
Excellent evening, cannot fault the service & food. Great place for a special treat.
The service was very slow considering how expensive the restaurant was , disappointed WITH THE SERVICE..
I took my fiancee to Coworth Park for Valentines Day Dinner. On arrival the valet parking was swift and we were shown to the conservatory for drinks, where we had chance to order our food. The champagne cocktail variations were wide and varied.
For dinner there was an a la carte offering at £65 for 3 course. There was also a tasting menu on offer for £85. We took the a la carte option, and we were glad we did, after canapes and amuse bouche plus three courses, it was a big meal. The food was exceptional, topped off with a cheese and wine flight, 5 english and french cheeses paired with wine and stout!
Post-meal, back to the drawing room, listened to the excellent pianist whilst ending with tea/coffee.
The staff were superb, everywhere.
Everything was perfect. Easy to find, the valet parking, the welcome. Drinks in the sitting room before a log fire. Then through to the dramatic dining room. We went for the a la carte. Just a handful of options, but all beautifully presented and really tasty. Portions sensibly small, so there was space for desert! Back to the lounge (more logs on the fire) for coffee. A taxi was found for us with no fuss. A perfect evening.
A truly wonderful evening, food, ambience, service and company.
From the first contact on entering the reception area we was treated like royalty, the staff couldn't do enough for you.The fine dinning resturant has an awe of excellence about it,which continued all throughout the course's.Truely an experiance you need to feel yourselves. An excellent dinning experiance and would go back again.
Always a pleasure
Dined for lunch at Coworth Park Ascot.
Excellent Michline star food with service to match. Very good set menu which included 3 courses, wine and coffee for £29.95. Lovely venue in a 5* country hotel. A minor misshap when I was served coffee with a spoon with the metal plate flaking off it which fell in the cup, which was a bit of a quality control issue for a Michelin establishment. To be fair they looked motified and brough a whole new set of coffee and crockery. I would recommed this venue
The venue is beautiful, the food is outstanding and the service is impeccable. From start to finish, it was amazing. definitely be back again - have booked for our next visit. We took our friends and they were really impressed - with food, service, ambience and the selection of wine. well done coworth park restaurant, truly deserve your 1 michelin star. best of british menu - 2 thumbs up!
Five stars in food and service. Very good value with the british food deal.
definitely coming back. we took two friends for the meal, they thoroughly enjoyed it as much as we did!!
Lovely setting, wonderful food
This was our first visit to Coworth Park nr Ascot at which we received a warm welcome from the door man who took the keys for our car to park it. Inside we were directed straight to the dining room for dinner. The venue is modern and pleasant not warm and comfortable. We chose the winter menu at £40 a head which included a glass of wine and coffee and chocolates, the food was very good and the service attentive and quick. The ladies toilet seemed to have poor ventilation and was smelly.
Restaurant Coworth Park - beautiful location, fab food, super service. Even better second time around. I have no doubt we will be back.
