Exceptional experience. After so many years, coming back here and still enjoying haute cuisine experience at its finest. Starters were remarkable, truffle linguine exquisite and main courses fostered each products flavours flawlessly. The Tatin dessert was cooked to perfection, and apples melted deliciously.
The staff was absolutely lovely and remarkably efficient.
Very disappointed with the food. Not sure why it's a Michelin 3 star restaurant. I wouldn't come back again. Will be happy to go back to the other Michelin one star restaurants we had.

I love Gordon Ramsay so the experience was more like a trip as a pilgrim.
It was so unexpected to be able to be invited into RGR's kitchen where I know, in a Michelin 3-starred restaurant, is definitely the most sacred place to even let any "outsider" in without proper business. Me as simply a guest, could receive that honor and celebrate my long-yearned success in realizing my dream of tasting Gordon's ultimate dishes, with Jean Claude's support, who introduced himself as the man that has followed Gordon for nearly 2 decades.
I was introduced to three kinds of menus: A La Carte, Prestige Menu and Carte Blanche. Before the event I was thinking about having Prestige Menu and that would be enough, but the waitresses were so good in delivering excellent services that I was persuaded and convinced myself that I should, taking this event as a once-in-a-lifetime one, grab the Carte Blanche Menu and feast myself to the fullest, and I did.
Carte Blanche means that you don't know what's going to be your food until it's put on your table, which really gives a sense of mystery, and I liked it. Although it was priced at 220 pounds per person, and with a glass of champagne, plus service fees, it went up to 282 pounds for myself. It was expensive, but in the end I was given the special menu signed by Chef Patron Matt Abe, with all the dishes different from the public menus, I felt like this was something unique for me, which really brought the experience to the next level. It definitely was worth the money!!!
I'm going to come again, Jean Claude is a very nice man, experienced and gentle. I would very much like to greet him again in RGR, while again enjoying the best food in the world presented by him and his service team. A kind and warming restaurant team can truly glue the customers to the restaurant, with marvelous food on the plates, from the bottom of their hearts. At least I feel so.

Excellent experience. Food amazing. Husband wanted to lick the plate of sweetbreads clean. Ditto the pigeon and my lobster ravioli. Would go back for special occasions due to price. Was expensive but we always say you (hope to get) what you pay for and we did. All the staff are exceptional. Love the mature maitre d who is not trying to be a ‘character’. So glad they haven’t been on TV! Great sommeliers. Loved all the extras, amuse bouches etc. Gordon, you should be proud of the way this flagship continues to operate so beautifully, long may it reign.

This has 3 Michelin Stars for a reason! Every dish has an unorthodox combination of flavours that you would never imagine would work together so well and cooked perfectly.
I'd highly recommend going with the prestige menu, which is the taster course as you pay a small amount extra but get 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts AND complementary food at the start and end. My personal favourites were the: autumn salad, scallops, turbot, sorbet and souffle.

I've been living and working in Vermont USA and only finally returned to the UK just before Covid occurred. I was given a 'surprise' 60th birthday treat which this has taken 18 months to reorganise......but it was still worth the wait.
Having eaten at the Chelsea restaurant on several occasions in the early 2000's I was delighted to find that Jean Claude is still running the front of house. He's a star and always is easy to approach. The staff all seemed to offer a personal style and were not conforming to a formula. This allows the whole dining experience to be so much more enjoyable.
We were treating two old friends who over the years whilst we were working in the US have offered us a bed when we are in London. Do expect to pay around £250 a head for the tasting menu and some vino. I feel this is reasonable value for money and all of us enjoyed our varied supper. Nothing failed to make an impact on our taste buds and the fish course was particularly good.
Most of our fellow diners were affable but of course we had one noisy couple who seem to think it is acceptable to live stream their supper and at the same time offer a loud running commentary. Thankfully they were in a corner and we felt most of the other diners, and indeed some staff members were embarrassed by their uncouthness. However these days we appreciate that any dining establishment has to broaden out their client base and also accept some demanding clients.
We hope to return for a 65th celebration as we feel the understated atmosphere is be commended as you can chat due to the low noise level

A bit pricey for what you're getting. Service is a bit full on, but everyone was very pleasant. Better food can be found elsewhere in London these days. Possibly worth a visit if you've never been, but not somewhere to go regularly.
The food and service at RGR is truly exceptional, honestly breathtaking stuff. The presentation and taste sensation that is every dish will be ingrained in your memory forever.
However, for £175 per person, I found the wine pairing menu lacking; 5 125ml free poured glasses of wine for nearly £200 is per person is insane especially when none of the wines appeared to be extracted by a wine preservation system like Coravin.
For £200 you'd expect 175ml at least and to experience some seriously exceptional wines, but that didn't seem the case when we went unfortunately.
However, as I say, the food was unbelievably good and the service was better than anything I've ever seen.
Great food beautiful produce really well presented and the service was excellent, the knowledge of the sommelier was excellent too. Only thing I didn’t like was selling of the truffle dish with eggs for an additional £40. Felt unnecessary when your paying what your paying already, it wasn’t pushy but I didn’t like that part of the experience and wouldn’t expect that at the table it should be part of the menu or not in my opinion. 10/10 experience overall though will be back in the new year

Wonderful in every respect. The food is outstanding as you would expect but it is the friendliness and professionalism of the service that really makes the experience special. Perhaps a little more expensive than I feel is fair but it is an incredible experience and we will certainly be returning.

I think going to a restaurant like Gordon’s crown jewel I had very high expectations to begin with. I will start with my experience which are areas I do not like. Firstly I was contacted 2 weeks before the booking to confirm the reservation. This is fine and not a problem. We were travelling to London specifically for this and a couple other events and confirmed all. A week later I got a call again to reconfirm. I think that’s slightly overkill but I confirmed once again we were coming still. On the day of the booking 1 hour ish before I got a call again asking if I was still coming and I confirmed a 3rd time. They asked if I wanted to move from a 9.15pm booking and come sooner. I said yes I could make it 15 minutes ish sooner and they booked me in for 8.45pm. Ok no problem so we raced down there from our hotel. Only to be told our table was not ready and to wait in the seating area for 15 minutes while the table we were asked to come early for was not ready. This left a really sour taste and probably tainted the experience for me from the start. The first course was a sort of light refreshing soup which was a stand out dish for me. The service was very good and the food was very good but it was not blow your socks off good. I think for the price point I expected better, well actually the best of the best and I’ve had better for less money from other Michelin star restaurants. By no means am I saying that the food was bad. It was a very good meal. But expensive for what it was and not a knock out which from Gordon was what I was expecting.

Faultless. Faultless. Faultless. Reverted to the Prestige Menu this time with two supplementary portions of Truffle and Scallops. Service was exemplary and the food was exceptional.
Our expectations and excitement were very high when arriving. We were asked if we had any allergies and explained we do not eat pork. The amous bouche arrived and whilst eating we came across Lardo in the bottom of the Pea Tart. The waiting staff were very brash, and when laying cutlery were constantly leaning across your face. When my 80 year old Father asked for the wine list a very large tablet was placed in the centre of the table with no explanations and no guidance was given too him even when they could see he was struggling to get to grips with it. Three of us had the “Menu Prestige” and my father had the al la carte the scallops were under seasoned and rubbery in texture. Our lobster ravioli was nice, but the pasta thick and consistency was very underwhelming. My Father had the Dover Soul which was not seasoned and the white asparagus was tough and difficult to cut. The lamb however was beautiful and perfectly cooked, my pidgin was a little disappointing and lacked flavour. The cheeseboard however was stunning as was our desert. When you are paying over £200 per head for food excluding drinks we expected a far better experience and felt the quality of the staff do not justify its 3 stars. Certainly we will think twice before booking into a Gordon Ramsey restaurant in future.
