Exactly what you should get from a fine dining experience. Perfect service, beautiful food and amazing attention to detail.

We left happy, fully and with vivid memories of the dishes we ate. Probably the best one star Micheline restaurant I've been to so far.

Everything was excellent, from the food and drinks to the service. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the presentation very original. Highly recommended!

Amazing food, wine matching, ambience.

The food was generally good but nothing particularly “wowed” us. We enjoyed and found the drink pairings more interesting for most dishes than the food.
For the money, I have had more memorable tasting menu experiences.
Additionally, seeing the chef visit some tables and not ours made us feel a bit unspecial, even knowing it was a birthday. We got a birthday letter but expected that they would at least write Happy Birthday on the dessert plate.
Lastly, we paid in cash (including 13% service charge) and they didn’t bring us the change. Whatever the change is, it should never be assumed to keep it.
Ultimately, we left feeling a little disappointed.

Simply amazing, that was one of the best, if not the best restaurant experience myself and my other half have both ever had. We will be back next in the future for sure. The food and staff are the highest possible standard possible. What I love about the tasting menu is, it had stuff I would never normally go for, and thus discovered some new experiences too. We both don't drink alcohol and the sommelier had some excellent non-alcoholic wine suggestions, and a mocktail negorni that I ended up having three of it was so good.

A wonderful fine dining experience. Exceptional food, friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is a true treat of a new approach to English/British food that keeps us wanting to come back to see what they’ve come up with next!

Gorgeous menu, everything very well judged and pretty as a picture.

We went expecting something special, and it ended up even better still. Every individual dish could have been the pinnacle of any other meal and the wine pairings were sublime! The staff struck the perfect balance between being attentive but not intrusive, and their explanations of the dishes were absolutely on point.

I've already told so many people that this has to be a top choice destination once this newest lockdown ends, and I can't wait to return.

The food, the experience and the venue are all perfect. It is not a cheap night out but given what you are experiencing I highly recommend.

I treated my husband for a meal as a wedding gift. Honestly, we both loved our experience at the Story. The food was presented beautifully, the staff looked after us so well and all the little details were just so special. Thank you so much for making it a lovely experience.

A very good tasting lunch menu. We had 3 guests all with different dietary requirements which were all handled well. Each of us received different menus, but all dishes were coordinated and arrived at same time. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. We took the corresponding drink flight which was well matched and contained some choices we never would have considered but worked well.

Top dinner experience in London. Food is beyond incredible and the team cater to your likes and dislikes. My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary and the Restaurant Story team made every moment feel special. Will definitely come back again.

Just stunning...... presentation, flavour, service (v.covid appropriate without spoiling the experience) and overall experience was faultless.....had a simply wonderful lunch with my sister. The calm kitchen, out of which comes the most spectacular food, is open to the dining room and the discreet but friendly team of waiters make this a truly memorable place to dine.

A pretty punchy restaurant price wise ( we were just over £1000 for four) but in fairness we didn't hold back on the drinks! The dishes were interesting and the beef dripping candle was a new one on me. I particularly liked the lobster and lamb caesar. Overall a pretty good experience but with strong competitors such as Core and Kitchen Table who have the edge.

Extraordinary tasting menu with a really interesting drinks accompaniment. A little on the expensive side, but it's worth it for a treat.

Visiting Restaurant Story was a wonderful experience. The level of thought, skill and care that Tom and the team put into making it is evident from the moment you approach the restaurant and are greeted and never falters before you sadly have to leave some hours later.

Fabulous food, great staff and lovely restaurant surroundings. Not cheap, but came away thinking that we had had a great meal and service experience.

Took my husband for his birthday and it was absolutely perfect! The space is intimate without feeling cramped, and the food was just incredible. Can't recommend enough and I'd absolutely go again for a similar celebrations.
