Cambio de Tercio
We also offer traditional Spanish tapas, but it is our Chef Alberto Criado’s creative dishes, what defines us and has given us our name.
Our award winning “wine list” contains the largest and more diverse selection of Spanish wines anywhere in London.
Within our renovated premises, you can now have dinner at our Chef’s table situated in our kitchen or enjoy one of our Spanish style Gin & Tonic at our “C.Tonic” Bar, with a large 80+ premium gin’s menu.

Love this place... and everyone I take here (and its sister restaurant) loves it too!
excellent food and vibrant atmosphere. my wife and I had a wonderful evening.
Been to this establishment several times and it never disappoints. Food and service excellent.
Everything was fine. We had the octopus for an appetizer and it was sensational.
My only negative was that the waitress wanted us to order all the dishes at once. We asked her to space the dishes but they all came out right away- faster than we could digest them. Nevertheless the food is terrific.
We were asked to vacate our table of 3 after 70 minutes without any warning as the owner wanted to sell it to the next guests. Very rude, and we won’t return anytime soon.
The waiters who assisted us were really lovely however the manager was horrible. Although we did not finished with our main courses he came to tell us that we needed to leave as our 2 hours for the table were over!! Ridiculous and non sense. Very noise place no suitable for work dinners. Not very organised bringing the tapas and it took too long.
Lovely ambience, great staff and orgasmic food to enjoy
excellent quality of food, nice service but noisy and crowdy environment. we were almost sharing with the neat table
Lovely food but when we asked to take service off (due to some food being off and drinks not being brought) we were told that we needed to pay at the bar on the way out as we were costing the restaurant money by sitting at our table.
By far the best tapas restaurant I’ve been to in London and also in my top five restaurants in London in general. Extremely delicious food, lovely staff, great ambience. My family and I were very impressed. We had a brilliant experience.
We celebrated my husband's birthday here. The restaurant is lively and the food was quite good. However, I felt rushed. We asked that the dishes come slowly as they are tapas, but it was more like one right after the other. Still, I would recommend this restaurant as the ambiance is excellent and the waiters attentive.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Our favorite restaurant in London!
The tapas plates were varied and all were delicious; comparable to what you would find in Barcelona or Madrid. Friendly service from the entire staff. Very pleasant neighborhood vibe. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Highly recommended.
Another wonderful evening of spectacular food in a beautiful place with the best staff in London. Thank you to Paco and his team for taking care of us. My Australian friend loved the 8 hours roasted tomatoes, the carrots in macadamia pesto and of course the delicious patatas bravas. It is the only place I can get real Torrija too, perfection.
Love this place, high standard doesn't change throughout the years, delicious food, great service!
Lovely atmosphere, attentive waiter, amazing Patatas Bravas
Great tapas place, amazing ambience and very attentive staff. The place is adorned with great art that I can't stare enough at. Highly recommend!
Good Spanish food and good service, but overpriced. Very large wines from Spain selection, again overpriced. The place itself and the decoration is not charming at all.
The tapas was exquisite, beautifully presented and delicious!
We were a large group. The staff were very accommodating. They made excellent suggestions regarding the food. We had a lovely experience!
Excellent et sympa. Les meilleurs gin & tonic. Très belle carte de vins
Amazing restaurant with top quality tapas dishes worth every penny
A wonderful experience. We first visited Cambio de Tercio about 20 years ago and it has developed into probably the finest Spanish restaurant in London. Excellent service, innovative presentation of imaginative food. A very enjoyable evening.
Brilliant food as always 😊 And more importantly - really lovely, welcoming staff. Have never been disappointed by any of the restaurants in this group.
Great to see this South Ken stalwart going from strength to strength. Lived around the corner 20 years ago, used to revisit on business trips 10 years ago, worried it would be dusty and/or coasting on its fashionable location. Happy to see the place is better than ever, with a sharp modern menu full of clever updates of Spanish classics. Service impeccable as always
We were inside, no air conditioned. Too hot, impossible to eat enjoyng the meal
This is an outstanding restaurant with a great wine selection.
Service from waiters there are terrible. Charged me drinks I didn’t order. Took 15 minutes to get the bill.
Amazing find in London. Incredible food, fantastic wine list, great, friendly staff.
This time it was with my girlfriend, previously with colleagues and clients. The restaurant staff are always welcoming, to the point where as you walk through to your table numerous staff members welcome you. The staff themselves are normally Spanish and happy to assist with wine and food choices in a nice informal manner. The restaurant itself has bright attractive and fun colour scheme with good art. To top it all the food is marvellous and after many times dinning, the standard and consistency is high! Maybe why you hear so many Spanish voices.
Wonderful place. Paco and staff are terrific
My husband said best meal he's EVER had
And we're not young!
This long standing favourite is losing its "neighbourhood gem" placing and is slowly but surely edging into an expensive and over-commercialised restaurant. Sad to see.
Food and wine are always excellent (both are overpriced now) but the customer no longer feels privileged to have "discovered" the place.
As I say, sad.
My guests, who are not familiar with the place, each commented on how uncomfortable they felt about the commercialised feel of the place.
From now on I will have to think carefully as to who I recommend it to.
Unfortunately they said the kitchen is cl9sed when we arrived only 10 mins late
All around excellant restaurant that never fails for a great meal.
We had an amazing meal. The tapas were all very delicious and the staff were attentive but not intrusive. We would definitely be back!
Still a great place in London for spanish food. But its not quite as good as it used to be. Food sometimes served a bit cold, not as much attention and care as before.
