Your bar staff need more training on cocktail making! A Cosmo does not have sugar in it! They also need to know that tutting at a customer can be heard!

Excellent food, fabulous value (we had the Express Lunch menu) and efficient, pleasant staff. All in all a fantastic pre-theatre meal!
Only one downside.....we sat upstairs and it was very cold!

I've been to big easy over the years quite few times. We always thought that the one in Covent Garden had better food than Chelsea. This time my experience is far from great.

Food - go for shrimps and seafood, avoid the rest - not worth the money or the wait. We were table of 3 plus a child - bill came to £200- for this price you expect quality both in food and service- which we did not receive. First seated in the corner of a restaurant next to a a very loud 18th birthday swearing party, asked to move, refused (the manager was wide eyed and looked like it was his 2nd shift) - pointed out that downstairs was pretty much empty - after a while we were granted different table. they were either understaffed or staff was barely trained. Asked multiple times for things- water, wine etc, only on second or third request things were brought. 6 year old's burger - cooked to an inch of life - he had a quarter, said it was disgusting - no quality here. very very average steak. bbq meats bathed in pure sugar, which meant to be house bbq sauce. Asked for non alcoholic margarita, but apparently the machine was broken so they had to prioritise over non alcoholic to alcoholic, so i could only have regular.the other waiter didn't even know if they did non alcoholic cocktails.

The only good part of the meal - the shrimps - both in the creamy sauce and in batter. Strongly advice to go when they have Tuesday night deal - the value to money is adequate to the quality of product then not on any other day of the week.

It's a shame that a place which used to serve decent food with great and friendly service is turning in a hen do central with fast food and fast non personal disoriented service.

We were seated and then immediately moved because the a big group were arriving shortly and the table was needed. The big group never materialised.

The servers were very friendly but all a bit haphazard; were asked multiple times if we needed any condiments. The bottomless BBQ is indeed bottomless, but none of the food was hot.

We hit the place on a Sunday lunchtime, so as busy as it can be, but felt it was a little rough around the edges.

I have previously been to Big easy many times, and it had always been fabulous. Fajitas night used to be a firm favourite, so i was excited to return with friends that had never been. However I was hugely disappointed on saturday, the service and food were not up to the high standard i had previously experienced. Upon ordering, a couple of things we wanted were no longer available, we were seated at 7pm and how can you run out of things when you're based in central london and on a saturday night?! Just a shame about the inattentive service and unavailability of options. Not what I have previously experienced at big easy so i left feel very disappointed.

Been to Big Easy a few times - including the Covent Garden branch and was always fairly happy. Not sure what happened recently, but the portion sizes literally halved while the prices stayed the same. £3.95 for a portion of coleslaw which was about two table spoons, £5 for grilled mushrooms - again about 3 table spoons. But the thing that took the crown was the calamari starter at £8.90 (!!) which was literally less than half a small basket of tiny calamari pieces hidden under quarter of a lemon. If they'd serve me this in a fish in chip shop at half the price I'd complain - let alone in a restaurant that's charging nearly nine quid for a starter. They have also reduced the amount of prawns in the Big Easy Combo in favour of muscles which are obviously much cheaper. Bill came in at £75 for two adults and a child - without any alcohol so definitely not good value for money. Won't be going back any time soon.

Had to send back some chicken wings as there were still raw. We also had to send a drink back ordered at dinner which was completely different to the same drink ordered at the bar. It was the wrong drink but it took 2 different people 4x to get this sorted and it was a bit ridiculous. They spent quite a long time questioning if we had got the drink order wrong - when it was in fact the barman! Food in general was also quite average. Bit disappointing as this was a birthday meal - wouldn’t reccomend the Big Easy to anyone, not been before but it definately didn’t live up to the hype!

I have been to the Big Easy on Kings road a few times and loved it. We had several issues with service at the Covent Garden restaurant. Initially the food came out quickly, second round of food we had to wait 45 minutes, asked repeatedly, was approached several to ask if we were still waiting, had to ask for the rest of the order after some had been delivered, they forgot a drink which we had to ask for 3 or 4 times, the server got noticeably annoyed as we kept asking and then didn’t acknowledge us on the way out. We also noticed several mistakes on our bill when we had to deal with. Too many negatives for one meal. My friends had never been to the big easy before and have vowed not to return. I was very disappointed

This is really nice place!
We went there with friends and family we havent seen for 12 months and some of us had been eating here before and thats why we came here...
(We came all the way from Amsterdam to eat here to chatch up.)

The music was extremly loud ( tuesday evening ) so sadly to chatch up this was not the place to be
we didnt do a extra drink here or a final coffee because we couldnt hear each other very well.
The review gives me not the chance to find it just disturbing! So thats why its on "Quiet"
for the food we would come again !

Seated upstairs so main point of going here was lost as we wanted to see live music which is downstairs. The table for 2 is tiny and practical on top of the tables either side so no chance of talking. In fact the table next to us had the lobster and when ever they attempted to get some meat out of the scrawny looking crustacean the juice hit Us in the eyes and stained our clothing.

Last time I visited the food was cold but I put chose not to complain and spoil the celebration. This time the food came up in less than 5 mins but was also cold and I was concerned it had been sitting on the side in the kitchen with no proper temperature controls. Very dangerous for chicken and prawns.

The band was excellent. Finally my friend who paid the bill informed Me next day that we were overcharged by £20.

Won’t be going again.

Our food arrived. The chicken was Luke warm. The pork ribs had blood dots all over, which turned my stomach. The waitress was lovely and asked if we wanted something else but the food had put us off so we declined. The waitress then asked if we would like to speak to manage but we sat waiting for about 10 minutes and then we decided to leave. On the way out the waitress ask if we would be kind enough to write down feedback, we did so hopefully it will be read!
