Welcome to the Crossroads, where Kansas City comes together. An evening at Lazia begins at the hearth with a complimentary house amaro blend as the sound of hip hop's greatest legends fill the room. The menu is both familiar and surprising in its selection of Italian favorites. It offers a collection of Cicchetti and Antipasti to start your meal; an expertly prepared and seasonal selection of handmade, fresh pastas; a satisfying collection of Secondi; and few moments of surprise & delight!

Named for another Crossroads O.G. and pal of Pendergast, Johnny Lazia, our dinner-only restaurant sits at the Crossroads of Italian culinary inspiration and the farms and fields of the Heartland in the Midwest.

We are currently open 7 days a week from 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Valet Parking for Lazia guests is $9, but street parking is also available.

Lazia is happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions.

Italians do not celebrate Thanksgiving and typically are a bit perplexed by the concept, often referring to it as “La Fiesta del Tacchino” (“The Turkey Party”). We are leaning into this simplified concept by offering turkey 3 ways, each dish inspired by our tried-and-true Italian roots. Celebrating Thanksgiving at Lazia is the best opportunity to experience the Italian tradition of a hearty meal with family and friends along with a modern American holiday influence. Vegetarian menu available for $75/pp and must be noted in reservation. Children ages 5-12 will be accommodated at $25. We are happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions, however we will not be able to accommodate requests regarding severe gluten allergies or celiac disease.

We were there to celebrate and it did not disappoint. We sat at the bar and Erika was FANTASTIC! The entire staff made us feel special and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect…. It WAS!

We’ve been to Lazia’s before and had a terrific experience. We were excited to get an opportunity to go again. The ambiance is terrific though it is very noisy if that’s a concern. Our server greeted us quickly and explained the restaurant’s requirement to order everything at once and assured us they would space the meal out appropriately. We got drinks fairly quickly but waited 20 minutes for focaccia to arrive. Then within 5 minutes, our appetizer arrived and before we could eat one bite of that, they arrived with our entree dish. We had to combine the bread and capresse on one plate so they could set the entree on the table. The person (not server) apologized for the timing error. Server did not come to table for another 10 minutes. Said nothing about the error of serving everything together. Did not take any empty glasses or plates away. We ordered another glass of wine which she never brought. She asked after we were finished eating if we still wanted it. We ordered coffee instead. She boxed up our leftovers and brought our coffee but never removed our dishes until after we paid the check. The food was very good. We know you can have a bad service experience anywhere and our previous experience was very good so we would go back and give Lazia’s another try, but it was a very disappointing experience nonetheless.

We've dined here several times and each time we leave, we are already thinking of when we will return. Consistently friendly and attentive service, and excellent food! We will return...soon!
