Excellent and interesting food. Not your standard Toronto Indian restaurant. Friendly staff.

This restaurant was a very nice surprise, the food is amazing, by far the best indian food I ever had! Try the okra and prawn curry, sweet potato chaad was lovely too.
We will return for sure.
Our server made himself a limonade that is not on the menu and I knew about, such a nice gesture!
A little pricey but very good quality.

Had a very nice dinner at Goa kitchen. Service was excellent and the food was very delicious. I didnt enjoy the rose they had and after I told the waiter he took the glass of my bill. I really appreciated that. I dont think the dishes are very authentically goan but its a nice modern twist on Indian food.

Terrific food. We were a party of 6 so we sampled appetizers from eggplant, chicken chicken char real, seafood. The main courses ranged from fish , short ribs and seafood. The mushroom biryani was a welcome accompaniment.

As a Goan I’d like to say that this place had about 5-6 Goan dishes with the rest of the menu featuring Indian dishes.(Branding is way off). The place seems like pompous and vain which shows that the place is trying to hard to be something it’s not. The ambience was not too bad, had pictures of certain places in Goa, but in almost all of the pictures, it had pictures of foreigners that visit Goa rather than actual Goans. The service wasn’t too great either, the server we had couldn’t speak English very well and another server while me and my partner were engaging in conversation about the menu, blatantly interrupted us to add his take on it(No one asked your opinion). And now to the food. We ordered the shrim balchao, Goan seafood curry and basmati rice. The shrimp balchao was really good almost like the real deal. The rice was quite pleasant to eat as well. The seafood curry had a very delicious flavour when it comes to the curry itself, however the scallops were over cooked and really chewy while the mussels weren’t too great either. The shrimp in the curry and the balchao were spot on though. Overall, I would like to let the owner and chef know that the food was just above average while everything else was sub par. You are opened up a business in a location that doesn’t suit your target audience and the audience you are targeting is completely wrong. Work on your prices to make them more reflective of the quality of the food. It’s no wonder that we and another group of 4 were the only ones there on a Sunday at 8pm while the restaurant Tabule in the same complex was buzzing with people.

The food was fresh and delicious - we tried the Chicken Xacutti and the Beef Vindaloo, with the Spicy Cauliflower as our starter. We recommend each of the dishes!

The staff (especially our server - Manpreet) were warm, courteous and provided us with excellent service throughout.

We were also extremely happy to find that the meat was Halal. They also have good options for vegetarians and vegans. Highly recommended to everyone.

There were generous portions provided and all of the food was very good! The coconut curry shrimp was AMAZING! The waiter was entertaining and very attentive, better than most restaurants! They also had some Indian themed cocktails which were a nice touch.

My husband’s steak was very good with the Indian twist. My cauliflower was nice but I’ve had better. The shrimp curry was bland. The sticky toffee pudding was an olive oil sponge (tasty) with warmed condensed milk drizzled on it. I love condensed milk so I enjoyed it, but I think if anyone is expecting a n Indian spiced true stick toffee pudding, they would be disappointed. The Summerlicious cost was only $33 for dinner so it was worth it. I’d try other things there just to see since it’s a good location for me.

A bit too much sauce in the dishes tends to dominate and distract from other flavours of an otherwise tasty meal. Tight for space.
The mango kulfi was delicious and presented well

Excellent Summerlicious dinner with good vegetarian options! Highly recommend the Sriracha Chilli Cauliflower and Grilled Cafreal Chicken for appetizers. The mains we ordered were all cooked very well: Chicken Xacutti Porcini (excellent sauce and tender pieces of chicken), Shrimp Curry with Okra (again excellent sauce with perfectly cooked shrimp and crunchy okra), and Corn Spinach Curry (pomegranate pieces gave a nice texture to the pureed spinach). All 3 dessert options were excellent, though we especially liked the Sticky Toffee Pudding (a bit on the sweet side) and the Mango Kulfi. We hope to come back and try their regular menu based on our Summerlicious experience!

We loved the food. Eggplant and cauliflower were wonderful. Chicken Xaciutti was very good, but the short ribs were much too spicy for us.
The music was intolerable when we arrived: way too loud and with an insistent, brutal beat in the bass. We were contemplating leaving, but our excellent waiter got it under control.

My dad and I ate at Goa tonight. We enjoyed the Summerlicious menu. The food was good, with the chicken main and the rice being excellent. The restaurant is lovely! My dad describes it as “elegant”. We sat on the “patio”, which is outside the restaurant facing the mall where we could people watch. My dad is hard of hearing so this was perfect as it was quieter. The best thing about Goa tonight was that we had stellar service from everyone, especially our waiter Mani. He was attentive, helpful and accommodating. When my dad asked if there was a non-sugar dessert option (he is diabetic), Mani sent someone to buy fruit and the kitchen prepared a spiced fruit salad. My dad is a bit of a character and he jokes around a lot. Mani joked back without ever being disrespectful, which pleased my dad to no end. It was a wonderful night for us, which we will certainly repeat. Kudos to Goa and to Mani!

We had an early lunch reservation and restaurant was not yet fully staffed so service was a bit slow to begin. Once fully staffed everyone was extremely friendly and courses arrived promptly. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. We each selected different appetizers and main courses and everything was delicious. Desserts were great too.
We will certainly return and recommend this restaurant to friends.

Went there for summerlicious dinner on the weekend.
What a beautiful restaurant with big chandeliers and doam roof.
Food was exceptional and service equally great. The restaurant was packed with a line up outside which means they are doing really well.
I am so happy I have an amazing Indian restuaurant in the neighbourhood.

We had the cafreal chicken, Chilli cauliflower, Seafood curry, Chicken Xacutti. Everything was so delicious especially the seafood curry.

Unfortunately the quality and flavour of the food was subpar at best, and the service was lacking. I expected more given the exorbitant prices. There was also little to nothing authentically Goan about any of it. I would not recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for good South Indian food that exceeds food court fare.
