Marylebone-based OPSO is a stylish restaurant and bar that celebrates the tastes, produce and social-style dining of Greece. OPSO [gr.ΟΨΟ] is an ancient Greek word for a delectable morsel of food, a fitting name for a venue that offers modern Greek tapas made with the highest quality ingredients.View Private Dining Details
Nice experience but a bit pricey. The cuisine is Greek but with a difference. Portions are very well made and very tasty. Nit your traditional Greek food but very good. Service was excellent.
It is the second time I went with my partner. Perfect for a breakfast/brunch/lunch. Food is really tasty.
Amazing as always
Delicious appetizers and the best gin and tonic of my life
The food is always amazing, the staff is great and polite. It is definitely one of my favorite places in london
Very good service and food is great
Service is very slow, we were seated next to the backdoor is was freezing, I kept my coat all lunch. Overpriced for what it is
Delicious food. Adventurous dishes. Staff were inattentive and we had to keep calling them over to request to order our food and drinks. They need to keep an eye on their guests!!
We went for Sunday Morning brunch. The food was delicious and the service great. We had to go to the basement which is not particularly cozy; try to get a table on the ground floor which looked good. Meals and drinks are on the pricey side. Have to book in advance.
Not an amazing experience - very little in the way of dairy or gluten-free options. very very loud, the guy next to us was like a foghorn and totally ruined our experience, tapas size but discrepancies in terms of plate sizing, massively overpriced. Wine was overpriced when it was rather cheap - a bit like drinking battery acid. Impossible to get service... and they simply don't know how to help people in an effective way. We were told our server would be x, they never turned up. at the end it took about 15m to get the bill. Not been for dinner before - it's much better during the day - won't be back at night.
OPSO never disappoints. As a Greek in London, it’s always comforting to have classic dishes with a modern twist on them and at OPSO, they do it so well. Beyond the food being delicious, the twists on the gin and tonics are to die for, and the wine list is filled with great, Greek classics.
Perfect place for a date night, but if you want to go for dinner on the weekend, book one week in advance or you’ll never get a table. Bit expensive for two, but I always have such a great time that it’s well worth it.
Overall good service and food - however the new brunch menu isn’t as nice as the old, needs re-thinking
Lovely ambiance, staff was very friendly and even surprised us with an anniversary desert :)
Dish frucasse v average no flavour old menu much better food ox tongue drumstickd and village salaf
Fabulous as always
Very tasty modern Greek cuisine. Very friendly staff and good ambience. The best choice for a weekend brunch
The food was delicious, and service was great. A hidden gem!
Everything was fantastic, the food, the service and the atmosphere is splendid
booked this restaurant after a friend told me to try it. Food was great.... different what I am used to but great, lively place lot of young people having fun. Will come there again
The tastiest food I have had in a long time! Perfectly located, with a nice buzz and incredibly attentive and polite staff. My friends and I had a very special evening and will definitely be back.
This was my tenth or so visit to Opso. I adore the food and will probably return for a bite as the food is SO good. HOWEVER it is almost impossible to hear one another when seated downstairs and the restaurant is full. This is a real shame. Also the service can be really dicey. Some great servers and others that don't really understand the nuances of the dining experience.
If Ospo fix the acoustics and achieve a consistent level of service this would be a full on five star situation.
Definitely the best Greek food I have had in London so far. Born and raised in Athens, every bite and smell reminded me of my childhood and was chilling to experience.
Great food and atmosphere!! Would definitely go back
Lovely atmosphere, attentative service. Amazing cocktails and the food was excellent. We shared small plates and would highly recommend the Tzatziki, Greek Sashimi, and the Feta Katifi (ended up ordering a 2nd portion!
Food is amazing. Service is slow. But in general we had a great time!
I thought Opso was good enough to recommend but not fantastic. I think the main detraction was the quality of the food. Simple Greek food is fun easy relaxed and good value. Opso for example serves a Souvlaki (pork) for £18 and it was not great. We spent £244 for four people (two inexpensive bottles of wine) and two deserts. So at £122 per couple was a bit expensive.
We had a GREAT evening, huge thanks to all the staff who took car of us. I don't often give 5* reviews as I think outstanding is something that is hard to come by, but OPSO was outstanding.
We had a lovely meal of some small plates/salad/dips with some amazing cocktails to finish off the night. Attention to detail was excellent, service was smashing and the up-stairs bar was spot on. We'll be back!
They put us in the downstairs basement and only told us on the day, which made it impossible to book a table anywhere else.
Best thing about this place is the ambience. Food was nice, but came out a bit cold, & is expensive for the size portions. The front desk woman seating tables (on thurs 4th October) was rude, had an awful attitude, and had no regard for customer service. She ruined the evening. Other wait staff were fine.
Their new, young waiter Dimitris is exceptional in his job - a great asset for the team!
I really had very high expectations about this place. Both drinks and food were just okay, there was nothing special about them. The service was really good though! I just felt like the food and beverage could not live up to the hype about this place. Especially when you pay a minimum of £50 per person, you are expecting it to be magnificent. I felt so embarrassed as I booked a table for three of my friends so they would try Greek food, and we all left with the same impression. We all work in hospitality and relate to how hard it is for everything to be perfect, especially when you have a huge number of bookings and guests, but our issue was the quality of everything which was just mediocre.
Too expensive for what it is. Poor value
Very good food, a bit higher priced, but still ok in terms of value for money.
Would absolutely recommend it
The food was amazing and much higher than I expected and better than how the photos look like! I am most impressed by the goat cheese and cream on the pancake, crispy and soft combination! The granola with yogurt was also so good with chocolate inside!
Good food. Rushed service. Sunday night and was empty and the food was delivered within seconds after ordering. Also had to pour our own wine.
I love it but really prefer the old menu.
It was good. It was very good. Would highly recomend
The noise level was way to high. I suggest turning down the Music.
Very cozy neighbourhood restaurant with delicious food. Coming back soon!
