   Easily one of the best, most imaginative meal I have eaten in a long time. I had 8:30 dinner reservations but a friend wanted to meet for drinks in time to watch the setting sun light over Vegas and see the lights turn on in the Strip. The hostess was extremely accommodating and we 3 sat at the bar in time for happy hour priced drinks and some appetizers. All were tasty and innovative. She then was able to seat us at our table next to the window a good hour and a half early. Stephen, the bartender/waiter, was amazing in the way he mixed the drinks and served us. Ashley, our waitress, was so friendly and informative about the menu. The female som suggested the perfect wine to pair with a lamb dish, bolongnese pasta dish and a chorizo stuffed squid with crab ravioli-- who knew an unoaked Italian chardonnay would be perfect with all three!! The pasta was, of course, perfectly cooked, the lamb (my friend saved a small chunk for me to taste) was perfectly cooked and sooo tender! The wine menu was as exciting as the food menu. I loved how they grouped several Italian wines into their wine growing regions. I have never seen so many Italian wines in one menu. The menu itself was gorgeous. The cover was made with Italian boar skin and the rivets holding the menu together was a work of art. I wanted to buy one but, unfortunately, they were not for sale. Which led me to think of "confiscating" one but the som explained to me how much work the staff do to the leather every week to keep it supple and looking so nice. She eventually guilted me into NOT taking one. The bartender told me that she is REALLY good at that! All in all, a perfect evening with a dear friend and a loved one (my wife), great drinks, great appetizers, great service and bantor with the staff, great meal, and a great vin santo to top everything off. Truly a memorable meal! Aloha.

   Really enjoyed our date night at Vetri Cucina. This is a “hidden” Gem off the strip with a great view.

   The Social Hour menu is great for a pre-show meal. And the view is amazing! Friendly service, excellent drinks, wonderful food all made for a superb experience.

   Pork Wellington was dry and not worth eating. Buratta should be served at room temperature. Lamb sausage pasta was quite good and well cooked. Banana pudding dessert was ok, not memorable. Restaurant has one of the better LV views. Staff was friendly and helpful. Given the prices, the food should be considerably better

   The pastas are incredible—worth the visit for those alone. Having dined at Mark Vetri’s restaurants upwards of 50 times, many at Vetri Cucina in Philadelphia, I had high expectations for his outpost at the top of the Palm. The setting is stunning, the prices reflect a top-tier experience, but the execution falls short. On a recent visit, I ordered multiple pastas to sample. Mid-meal, a staff member—possibly a manager—began clearing my table. I mentioned another dish was still coming. She insisted it wasn’t. It had simply never been fired. No apology. The pasta eventually arrived, far later than expected. Water refills required multiple requests (I do drink a lot, but at a restaurant of this level, I shouldn’t have to ask). Bread was requested for dipping and showed up after my plate was cleared. A free glass of wine was offered (declined), but rather than owning the service issues, blame was passed to the kitchen—never a good look. Given Vetri’s talent, the breathtaking views, and the restaurant’s potential, this place should be great. I’ll give it another shot, but for now, it’s not living up to its name.

    The panoramic view of the Las Vegas Strip was incredible. The food was delicious. The oysters were a highlight, very tasty, a must try. We had the lamb chops and seafood pasta, both delicious. Definitely worth a try when you are in Vegas.
