David Burke Tavern is a modern American restaurant by award-winning Celebrity Chef David Burke. Situated on the first two stories of a stately townhouse on New York City’s Upper East Side, the restaurant showcases Burke’s creative and contemporary approach to classic fare – often with showstopping presentations. Signature dishes highlight seafood, steakhouse staples and beyond, including Lobster Dumplings with spicy tomato, Crab Cake Pretzel Raft, Tavern Cheeseburger, and Burke’s famous “Clothesline” Maple & Black Pepper Candied Bacon, plus a full SUSHI MENU. David Burke Tavern offers dinner, bar and lounge menus, as well as multiple private dining spaces including the intimate Himalayan Salt Room lined with pink sea salt bricks. Private dining spaces can accommodate anywhere from 10-100 guests, with options to reserve floors and the full restaurant.

    DBT always hits. The pork chop is a unique twist with clams and shrimp and bacon bits - delicious! The rib eye is charred to perfection for the medium rare. And the prefix menu is an amazing value. Highly recommend!!

    Absolutely amazing food every time at the Tavern/ Townhouse!! Pre fixe menu is totally worth it!! For appetizers we had tuna tar tare , lobster dumplings delicious!! Our mains were mushroom ravioli yum!! and braised pork rib- falling off the bone tender! Pasta so light and freshly made. And desserts incredible- Key lime pie and cheese cake. Not to mention there is a fantastic Happy hour menu with great foods and wines!! Can’t wait to return

    The David Burke Tavern is a delightful experience - our first time! We went for lunch - the burrata salad was scrumptious as was the swordfish (wonderfully fluffy) and the lime key pie was out of this world! The service was very friendly and extremely competent! It's going to be our place to go when we are in the city!

    Food was excellent! RW lunch a great value. Burrata salad, tuna tartare, hangar steak all outstanding. Service was helpful and attentive. Wines (bottles) aggregiously expensive.
